The place was not clean. Surfaces were clean but under beds, under couches, floors , bathtub , cushions were not clean. A dog had been there previously. I messaged the owner who was not aware and was very apologetic but the place was covered in black dog hair even though pets are not permitted. We hoovered and cleaned the place ourselves as children’s toys and socks from running around got covered in dog hair. There’s only one shower downstairs, manageable but worth noting. Upstairs toilet does not flush. Downstairs hot tap drips constantly. No fairy liquid to wash dishes so used the dishwasher everyday

Reviewed Jun 10, 2025Location was the best as it was an easy walk for the boys to town. The house has 3 bedrooms .. the one downstairs was fab for the most senior person of the group…. Kitchen lounge etc were all great. will definitely stay again… communication was superb with the host …. Thank you

Reviewed Jul 11, 2024The location is really good- a quiet estate behind the church, just a 6 minute walk to the seafront. A comfortable house with 3 bedrooms and a nice open plan kitchen living dining. Kilkee has fabulous sea swimming spots, the Pollock holes at low tide and Byrnes Cove at high tide. The cliff walk is spectacular.
