Cozy cabin with a great view

The cabin is in a lovely setting, great location. Rustic, fantastic charm. Well equipped inside and out. It was me and my daughter from UK motorcycling across Europe. Was nice and cosy in this cabin in the woods. Instructions sent were spot on.

A wash basin even outside the main cabin will truly help 🤘

This room was unacceptable. There was not a toilet but a hole outside in the woods inside a cabin with no light and amenities. The shower did not work either for cold or hot water. The shower was outside with no door or heat. We had to take a shower in the cold, if it was working. We had to make the connection for the water with the gas and the heater by ourselves and we almost got electrocuted. We arrived late and really tired and could not even have a shower , we had to sleep as we was. The so called double bed was a bit bigger than a single. The room is not what was described at all, it was a lie. We had an awful time, we are dirty and sleepless. These are unacceptable conditions to rent a room and non of these conditions are in the room description.

Останавливались на одну ночь 11.07.2025г с женой и сыном 15 лет. Было очень тепло. С веранды главного дома открывался великолепный вид на море, фьорд. Мы просидели там с женой до глубокой ночи, попивая вино и Akevit, и нахваливая норвежские пейзажи! Сын лёг спать во втором домике без удобств. Туалет был в деревенском стиле метрах в 20 от дома, но нас это ни сколько не напрягало. В доме была полноценная кухня, с раковиной, так что проблем с приготовлением пищи не было. Душ расположен был на улице вплотную к главному зданию под небольшим навесом. Летом им можно пользоваться, но зимой, думаю, нет. Для получения горячей воды надо было подключить газовый баллон, была инструкция, но мне это было делать очень лениво, так что легли спать грязными))). Но это не проблема для нас. Я решил, что лучше насладиться видом на фьорд во время полярных норвежских ночей, чем возиться с душем. Вокруг дома шикарный лес. Только жалко, что в июле не было грибов и ягод. Уверен, что в августе здесь этого добра полно, так что отличный обед из грибов с картошкой будет всегда обеспечен. Машин по трассе Е6 ездило немного, да и находится она не прямо рядом, а чуть на отдалении и внизу, т.к. домик расположен на холме. Так что шум от машин совсем не напрягал. С удовольствием остановлюсь ещё раз.

Душ возможен только в летний период.

I had the best time while staying in that lovely cottage. The place is peaceful and beautiful as well, with beautiful panoramic views around. It is indeed an ideal place to come to and relax surrounded by nature. The cottage was clean, furnished and very well equipped with all the things I needed for my comfort. I can't wait to come back!
