Our stay at Aagaman Hotel was excellent. The hotel is run by Shasi and his family, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. We stayed for six nights to relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer at a leisurely pace. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the central area of Bandipur. Its location is very peaceful, with spectacular views of the mountains and forest. We even saw many monkeys living in the trees! The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and spotless, and there is an extensive menu of delicious homemade food. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy Bandipur. Many thanks to Shasi and his family for taking such great care of us with so much warmth and dedication.

Lovely and peaceful just outside the village but very easy walk to everything including the old town and the viewing point. The owners were lovely and very helpful - as were all the staff. Great place to stay - I would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and cozy

My stay in Bandipur was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such genuine kindness that, even though I was travelling alone, I immediately felt at home. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable, always offering help with a smile. One of the highlights was the food. Every meal was delicious, and I had the opportunity to enjoy wonderful traditional dishes prepared with great care. It made discovering the local cuisine a real pleasure. As someone coming from a very different cultural background, I especially appreciated how naturally and thoughtfully they helped bridge any differences. They created such a warm, inclusive atmosphere that I always felt comfortable, respected, and part of the family. Their hospitality made it incredibly easy to connect with the local culture in the most authentic way. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. If you're looking for genuine hospitality, amazing food, and an unforgettable experience in Bandipur, this is the perfect place to stay. I am deeply grateful for everything. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained—easily one of the cleanest places to stay in Bandipur. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are cozy, and all the facilities are of top-notch quality. Everything, from the water supply to the overall service, is thoughtfully managed to ensure a pleasant experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again. Hosts are very helpful and kind. They help you feel as if you are at home. The hotel is a short walk to the old town and has a fantastic setting with mountain views.

A very friendly family run hotel in a quiet spot a short 5 min walk from the village centre. The sunset view from the room balcony was breathtaking. It’s also great for bird watching as it’s surrounded by trees and local village life. Mr Rudra and his wife were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. They even moved us to a different room with better WiFi as I had some important work meetings. They also helped us book our bus tickets to Pokhara. Overall a very pleasant stay and we’re already planning to go back. Highly recommended.

L’hôtel est situé à 5 minutes du centre, que l’on rejoint par un petit chemin. Cela permet d’être au calme tout en restant à proximité de la rue animée de Bandipur. Les chambres sont aménagées avec soin et sont propres, les lits sont confortables et la salle de bain était propre et bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et peuvent arranger taxi, bus, pour rejoindre d’autres villes.

Petit bémol pour le prix de la nourriture et des boissons, mais le centre est à côté et il est facile de s’y rendre pour y manger.

Hotel limpio, habitación amplia; la ubicación excelente, a 5 minutos andando de Bandipur Bazaar, muy tranquila y con el sonido de los pajaritos. El personal muy muy agradable, te ayudan con lo que necesites, pedí indicaciones para coger un autobús y me llevaron hasta el sitio en su moto personal. Mil gracias. Recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden im Aagaman Hotel! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das gesamte Haus ist hervorragend geführt und auch das Restaurant kann - Ausnahme Kaffee (Instant) - überzeugen. Die Lage ist hervorragend und die öffentlichen Räume sind sehr schön. Gute Matratze!

Die Zimmer sind eher klein. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Aber das fällt mit Ohrenstöpseln nicht ins Gewicht. Der Kaffe als Instant-Variante allerdings schon - das muss nicht sein!

The family that runs the hotel are super friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The food they cooked was very good, we ended up eating most of our meals there.

The family running hotel is very welcoming, we immediately felt at home. The hostess pointed us all the sights and helped us anyway we needed.

Die Familie der die Unterkunft gehört ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, ab dem ersten Moment fühlt man sich wohl und willkommen. Die Lage ist super, nicht mittendrin und dadurch ruhig. Durch einen schönen kurzen Fußweg, ist man in weniger als 5 Minuten in der Altstadt. Es ist sauber und die Betten bequem.

A great choice for a place to stay in Bandipur. Location is perfect. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They keep the whole place very clean and tidy. The room is very comfortable with a decent shower and hot water. Breakfast is good too.

A welcoming family run budget hotel 5 mins walk from the main street. It was nice and quiet while I was there. Helpful, friendly owner. No hesitation in staying here again.

The back veranda is the perfect spot to enjoy nature – you fall asleep and wake up to its peaceful sounds, while being just steps away from the beautiful square village . This is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained places we’ve stayed at in Nepal. The family’s hospitality is truly heartwarming; they welcomed us with smiles, warmth, and genuine care, making us feel like part of their own family.

The rooms are small but functional, and with such affordable prices, it’s worth booking two for extra comfort.

No AC so it got quite hot with just a fan - but this was mainly due to several power cuts due to really bad storms which can’t be helped. Rooms could do with a hair dryer and two towels for both guests :)

A very cute hotel managed by a lovely couple! The rooms were clean and neat with a nice view, great price and best service! I highly recommend . The couple helped us with everything we needed and even booked a bus for us to kathnamndu. The location was also great (less than 5 min walk from the bazar) . They even made us a special dinner of our request (one of our favourite dishes from home)❤️

Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The owner lady helped us with good directions to explore the city.

Food was costly. There was no view from the room. Ppl were smoking cigarettes and we needed to close the window. The checkout person was very arrogant and mentioned that indian rupee is not accepted here and anywhere in Nepal. Our booking was in inr and we already used indian rupee everywhere else for 7 days without any problem.

I had a truly outstanding stay at this guesthouse – everything was of the highest quality. The hosts were incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive, making me feel welcome from the very first moment. Communication was smooth, and they went out of their way to assist me with organizing transport and offering excellent local advice about what to see and do in and around Bandipur. The food was absolutely delicious – homemade, fresh, and full of flavor. Every meal felt like it was prepared with real care. What made this place truly special was the personal touch: from thoughtful recommendations to spontaneous conversations, the experience was not just about comfort but about connection. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bandipur. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

It makes justice being called the best family hotel in Bandipur. Located just a short walk away from the city center (really nice walk by the way), the hotel exceeded by far our expectations. Starting with the cleanliness that was top notch. Also the friendliness of the owners that makes you feel at home. We highly recommend it to everyone that is thinking to visit Bandipur and stay overnight.

This is our second time here and we highly recommend staying here. It is very clean and hygienic, rooms, kitchen, food, etc. Peaceful, comfortable, very welcoming and a great location too. If we had time, we would have stayed longer and we certainly would come back again.

Great location, amazing views, beautiful property, lovely host & staff, clean, comfortable and highly recommended.

Would have been good if rooms had a kettle or another area you could boil some water to make a cuppa. And also to be able to fill up your water bottle with filtered water. A bottle with water is provided, but trying to reduce plastic waste, option to fill up your own water bottle would be good.

What an amazing stay. Beautiful, clean rooms with an amazing view. The COMFIEST beds, we couldn’t get out and the owners were beautiful people who went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. Bandipur is such a beautiful hidden gem, I would recommend it (and to stay here) to anyone I meet!

We stayed at Aagaman for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay there! First of all Bandipur is a gem of a place, like stepping back in time and so beautiful! Second, the location of the hotel was perfect for us, as we had to walk a short alley to get to Bandipur bazaar. We walked almost every inch of the village 😁 the host family and Nora (their daughter) is the best! They are so kind and helpful and sweet and we will really miss them! The bed was really comfy and the room was super clean. Also, after a problem they fixed we had hot water! Would stay here again 😊

Bandipur is an amazing small and quite town up the mountain with historical architecture, definitely worth a visit on your way to Pokhara! The Hotel has a familiar energy with loving staff. Thank you so much
