Noe preget over at det var litt gammelt, nøkkelboks var vanskelig å låse, og stikkkontakt til kjøleskapet sto i, men ikke på når vi kom

The house felt cozy and had everything we needed, which made our stay very easy and pleasant. The hostess was very kind and helpful, and communication with her was easy. We would be happy to stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Det var kaldt da vi kom, var sikkert den kaldeste perioden i Sandefjord. Kunne vært satt på varme inne eller hatt en sekk med ved. For det tok veldig lang tid før det ble varmt inne.

Jeden minusik to taki, że w domku było trochę chłodno jak przyjechaliśmy, ale jak się podkreciło grzejniki to zrobiło się ciepłej ;)

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025Great value for money. House is located in the suburbs of Sandefjord and for us walking was a plesure, but with small children and no car, it can be a bit tricky. The house has everything you need, great contact with the owner, very comfortable beds, 15 minutes' walk to the sea and 25' to a beautiful bay. Strongly recommend it!

One Single duvet on a double bed and no blankets or extra bedding available. Messaged host about this but no reply. Wall heater would not work so we were quite cold unless we had the other heaters on full.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2024Beautiful property in a beautiful location, perfect for a family. Loved the outdoor seating area with the pizza oven. We sat out both nights in front of the fire and toasted marshmallows! The facilities indoors were brilliant, everything that you would need was provided and more. We loved it and are hoping to come back again in the future :)

The neighborhood was quiet and nice for walking, and there is a small grocery store within a 2 minute walk. The owners were very responsive and helpful if you had any questions. A wonderful place to stay!

Reviewed Jun 27, 2024We spent little time there but the beds were comfortable. We had our 8 year old grandson sleep on the couch because the single bed was in an odd location away from everyone. We were fine with this though. The place was not a “wow” effect but it was fine for us. It was clean!

Reviewed Sep 5, 2023Ideal location for our needs in a very nice residential area. Convenient local supermarket and an easy drive to everything else.
Obviously with a property also used by the host and her family, there are a lot of possessions and cooking ingredients around, so once you adapt to this, all is ok. I suppose a little updating wouldn't go amiss- the bedrooms especially, although perfectly clean- could do with re-furnishing and a few decorative touches.

Right next to a shop (less than 1 minute walk, open all week), only 20 minutes from the beach and about 30 minutes from the port/harbour. 15 mins approx to train station on scooters or 5 minute in a taxi! 10 minutes on the train (and a 5 minute bus) to Oslo Torp Airport. Finally the owner was great at communicating and got back to my messages promptly. Thanks for letting us into your home!

Reviewed Aug 23, 2023Extremely spacious with everything you need to cook and clean, etc. We had an amazing time here. It is a lovely, quiet and clean village. It was about a half hour walk to the port and all the shops. There is also a lovely park down there too with lots of interesting things. There is a supermarket around the corner from the house, which is open every day. We personally found it a little strange to have so many of the owners' personal belongings around but it didn't spoil anything. It was just different but also interesting.
