Viento Sur Astro Camping & Cabañas

Patricio fue un anfitrión super atento y porpociono todo lo que necesitábamos, incluyendo sugerencias a senderos que salen desde el camping. Nos encantó el silencio de la noche y las cabañas muy cómodas y acogedoras.

La ubicación y senderos para contemplar la biodiversidad

Fuimos para visitar el Parque Bosque Fray Jorge. Estas cabañas están muy cerca, lo que nos permitió aprovechar el viaje. Están muy bien ubicadas, especial para relajarse y descansar. La atención del administrador fue excelente, preocupándose de todos los detalles y ayudándonos a planificar actividades para hacer.

It's a nice place to speed some day around Fray Jorge reserve national park. You get a full equiped loft with all the utilities that you can need for a good experience in the fantastic scenic park. It's about 15 minutes from Fray Jorge entrance and the road is ready to be drive, all finished. You can ask for some Chilean food if you want to try something new. You can find a mini market at the entrance of the road D540 exit from 5 Norte road. You have a nice ecosystem, lots of vegetation and animals from the area. Bring your own internet if you need to do some work (entel-wom-movistar works here). If you are renting a car, a city car can make it, if you are coming with some rain bring a 4WD ;) Hope you spend a good time here.

We had an amazing time at Nati and Pato's place. We discovered it by chance on our way up north, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip in Chile. We loved it so much that we decided to spend an extra night there on our way back to Santiago. The serenity of the place, the beauty of the night sky (it is truly magnificent), and the warmth and kindness of Nati and Pato made our stay unforgettable. If you have the chance to stop by, we highly recommend this place – you won't be disappointed! PS: Google Maps will not show you the small street that leads up to the place. If you are coming from the main street, look for the wooden sign 'Viento Sur Astro' on the left side of the road.
