Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Schöne und zentrale Lage im Wohngebiet. Außerdem ruhig. Die durchdachte und schön gestaltete Einrichtung machen das Haus zu einem kleinen Gesamtkunstwerk. Ganz toll war auch das Klavier. Mit dem Fahrrad waren wir schnell am Meer und für einen Tagesausflug auch schnell an der Fähre nach Texel. Die Besitzer sind sehr zugewandt und gut erreichbar. Kleine Probleme werden sofort gelöst und der Kontakt ist sehr persönlich. Übrigens: Den Helder ist sehr viel besser als sein Ruf!
Die steile Treppe ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen - liebe- und stillvoll einrichtet mit unglaublich vieeel guter Musik. Es war ALLES da, was das Herz begehrt und noch viel mehr. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und sauber. Die Lage top, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir wurden von den Eigentümern unglaublich freundlich empfangen und über den gesamten Aufenthalt betreut. Immer gerne wieder.

Everything was good. Not a complaint, just stating the obvious: being a two-floor house with the bathroom on the first/ground floor and the rooms upstairs, it requires some walking up and down.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025We have travelled a lot and can say this is one of the better accomodations. The house was cc/quirky/clean/beds were amazing, location was great especially to travel to Texal, and the hosts were attentive and really lovely.
We loved everything.

Reviewed May 26, 2025Pleasant. Quirky decor! One block from our family. Short walk to center and trains.
It takes this spoiled American a bit to get used to the customary ships-ladder stairs to the bedrooms so prevalent in the Netherlands. A bit tricky to negotiate for late night toilet trips. Still worth the effort to stay in a well kept home for a few days!
