Location was great, and as marketed, restaurant was good the night we ate there…mid week closures for local establishments made finding local, non franchise eateries difficult to utilize

Rooms felt dated, too much textured pleather…bed was similar to a futon but a bit higher off the floor…not at all what we expected and not comfortable

Pool area had very bad smell. There was a bit of visible mold in the shower. The second floor hallway smelled like cat urine.

More like an old rock bottom motel. Furniture disintegrating and bathroom fixtures needs replacing. There was a spider on the ceiling above my bed that came down on my face. The shower was handheld and the fixture that puts it up was broken. No water bottles in the room. They charged me for water bottles. Toilet stained and seat didn’t stay up. Old rusty soap dispensers.

The place needs a little tender care mostly the bathroom. The grounds need to be maintained better

The room was very outdated the bathroom was fully rusted I was scared to touch anything the ceiling looked like it would fall down and I felt like I would drop to floor below me when showering. The windows were so dirty and so were the blinds. Room was not clean.

Lake view was mostly blocked by roof. Bathroom light needed to be brighter, Bathroom floor was very slippery, the phones didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk. Our first day at the hotel the restaurant was closed.

Location was great, nice view of the lake, parking was easy and plentiful, friendly staff.

Gym area was very dirty, pool was not working, also very small, windows in room were very dirty - covered with seagull feces. The outdoor eating and cocktail areas were also very dirty- chair cushions looked old. Windows, seating, tables and door handles covered with seagull feces.

The location was perfect. Very close to the college.

The second floor hallway had a very chemical smell and the pool was very murky.

Property location is very good and front desk staff is very supportive and friendly. Rooms have all the required facilities

The bathroom tub in our room was gross and rusty. They should get rid of tubs and just have tiled shower stalls

Bathroom had a large water issue in the shower ceiling, light was falling from the ceiling and did not work, curtain was ripped, rusted shower containers, large hair/dust ball on the floor in the hallway, tile sticking out on floor board.

The facility is a little old and not maintained very well. The elevator stops abruptly. The air conditioning is noisy. The window looks dirty.

Horrible cleanliness. Actually had blood splattered on the mirror in our room. Black mold in the bathroom. Dirty towels. Took 4 hours to get the blood cleaned and additional towels. Absolutely ridiculous !

Common areas need attention. Elevator door sticks a bit. Floors need cleaning. Our bathroom had a few issues. Staff took care of them. Great property.

It seemed run down. Lots of cracks in the tiles and paint chipping. Elevator was dirty. The lights in the bathroom were horrible. There were only two towels and the room sleeps 4. The bench was broken. The carpet was peeling. It was way to expensive of a hotel for what I felt we got

Place was great overall

Safety issue with broken parts hitting me in the shower in room 405 and cracked back of toilet seat on 7/14/26. Could not reach the manager at all even after 4 days…..

The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Has a nice beachy vibe.

The refillable body wash,shampoo and conditioner were all empty, they are supposed to provide these items. Big disappointment when your in the process of showering. REALLY!

De ligging

“De ligging aan Seneca Lake is prachtig en het uitzicht is echt een pluspunt. Helaas viel de rest tegen. Onze kamer had een lekkende airco, waarvan het personeel aangaf dat het probleem al bekend was. Het zwembad was tijdens de officiële openingstijden gesloten voor onderhoud en de service aan de receptie was weinig gastvrij. Voor de prijs hadden wij meer verwacht.”

Perfect location for the ironman race and great lake views.

The wifi was extremely weak and could not use it. I wish there was a bit cheaper breakfast option than eating at their restaurant.

Lovely location right on the waterfront of Seneca Lake in Geneva. Awesome view, great access to trails for walking & biking. Very comfortable outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy the view.

Property is aging, and requires better maintenance than it is receiving. One of two elevators out of order, bottle filling station in lobby with broken sensor, sink drain was clogged in room upon arrival, no body wash in soap dispenser, only 2 small towels in room for bathing. Front desk was very responsive when we called for a maintenance man to clear the drains, and for extra towels, but housekeeping would have immediately seen the clogged drain if they actually washed the sink and serviced the soap dispenser before we arrived.

No AC in the hallways. No AC in gym/fitness room. Pool was very small. Breakfast was expensive at the restaurant in the hotel.

The restaurant was not open for dinner at 5:45! It was never open for dinner during our stay!

The property appeared to be in disrepair. The room was unfinished, poorly designed, and in disrepair. Staff were courteous, but did not make an effort to do more than the minimum. We had only 2 towels and no bedding for sofa bed. Worst of all, the AC did not function well. The one vent was clearly not adequate for room 401. We tuned thermostat all the way down and still could not get the room below 76 degrees at night. It was over 80 in the room during the day.

I loved looking out my windows at the beautiful lake ate 2 great meals at Farm to Table

Walkway near garbage area was disgusting. Only way in to hotel was front door even if you stepped out back doors to water you couldn't get back in. Restaurant onsite was already closed upon arrival.

Staff was not very friendly. After a sleepless night with pulsating bathroom ceiling light, we asked for the manager but we were told she was unavailable and busy setting up for a wedding. Only one elevator was working and guests had to wait often longer for a lift. The bathroom was not sufficiently cleaned.

Had to park long way from main entrance & only 1 elevator. No internet info given at check in or in room. Phone didn't work in room to call desk. Repairs to wall done poorly. Dirty spots in bathroom corners. Staff should have told about internet. When asked, told no password and had to ask what one to choose.

Nothing! Worst hotel I've ever stayed.

Elevator didn't work. Trash overflowing and left for several days. Pool was green/dirty, very small, and out of order. The public men's bathroom was filthy and non functioning. Never, greeted by front desk employee. Not even eye contact. A single small trash can for the room. Filthy shower rusting access panels in room. Curtains falling off the curtain rod. Bed was seriously hard and the pillows were as cheep and hard as possible. THIS IS NOT A WYNDHAM PROPERTY! They only use the name and when I called Wyndham to express concern about the property Wyndham essentially said NOT THIER PROBLEM.

The bed is too close to the toilet The toilet is very very short . It is uncomfortably close to the ground. The pool wasn’t open. One front end staff was very rude and have out incomplete information.

The view from the room was beautiful. The location was close to downtown Geneva.

The room was a bit cramped for the price and not as nice as I would have expected. The bathtub/shower had no drain plug, just a big stink hole. Ice machine sounded weird and ice tasted funny. No breakfast until 7AM.

41 Lakefront hotel, as the name suggests, is right on the lake and in the center of downtown Geneva, and a good starting point to explore the nearby wineries and Watkins Glens national park.

Air conditioner could have been a bit colder other than that great experience

It was very nice and everyone was very friendly.

It claimed to have room service and they didn’t. It stopped during Covid and they never removed it from their menus and advertisements. Also the pool/ hot tub was down for inspection and we weren’t informed until we got to our room.

I had a lakefront room on the 5th floor which had an amazing view of the lake. The bed was super comfy and shower pressure was awesome. Great parking.

Upon check in, the front desk agent was not welcoming at all. When I asked if the kitchen was still open I was told they aren't open on Mondays, even though they were advertised to be open. When I asked if there was any place that would deliver she said "probably" with no suggestions on where I might find some food. Though I had an amazing view of the lake it was obstructed by super dirty windows, covered in cobwebs and bird poop.

Didn’t think I’d prefer their lavatory with shower only - as opposed to a bathtub - but these showers are powerful and as hot as you want ’em.
