Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Lovely house in a beautiful location- very quiet with a lovely beach nearby. Hosts were friendly and helpful and we had all the basics in the house including a scone/butter/jam welcome surprise:) There is a back garden with a table to have breakfast in the sun and a lovely little bench to quietly sit and relax.
We were there during warm days and the bedrooms are on the top floor so it gets quite hot- not an issue if you open the windows but be prepared for lots of biting insects around. A fan/mosquito nets might help or bring some insect repellant.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Excellent house. Very spacious. Had everything you would need. Really comfortable, enjoyable stay. Beautiful setting and lots of space around it. About 20 minutes walk to beach. Owners are lovely. Tasty scones, butter, jam and milk were left for us on arrival - really nice touch. Had a great stay there.
House was great, in a beautiful setting. You would probably need a car though, as is a bit outside Carraroe.

The mattresses in a couple of the double beds were too soft for someone prone to lower back problems.

Pensábamos que estaba más cerca de Galway. Pero está a unos 59 minutos. Al llegar de noche fue un poco complicado llegar al alojamiento pero bueno después de eso ningún problema

The kitchen has everything you may need. And the bedrooms are big and bright. The hosts were very kind and accessible. We will go back!

Could do with an electric shower, we just couldn't heat enough water for 4 of us to wash.
