De kamer en badkamer waren toch iets krapper dan we hadden verwacht.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr gut mit Zugang zu einer kleinen eigenen Terrasse. Es war eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer vorhanden, was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen sehr angenehm war. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, alles war frisch und wurde mit Liebe von den Gastgebern zubereitet. Ein Kaffeevollautomat stand zur Verfügung, auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem mit Liebe geführten Haus. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Reviewed Jun 25, 2025Amazing historic building, excellently and expertly restored with an appealing clean and modern interior. A unique and quite place directly located next to an - also restored - windmill. The parking is on the B&B grounds. We stayed in the room ‚De Binnenplaats‘, very cozy, with everything needed including air condition and a mini terasse with 2 chairs, a table and a parasol. Matrassess are very good so that we had a real good night‘s sleep. We can highly recommend to also book the breakfast: it was a perfect start into the day with Cappuccino, fresh fruit and yoghurt, granola, boiled egg, cheese, ham, marmelade etc etc etc. If the weather allows, breakfast is on the front terrasse. Big thanks to the super nice hosts !

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners. Our room was full of character, beautifully decorated, with a lovely bathroom — spotlessly clean and featuring wonderfully comfortable beds. In the morning, we enjoyed a generous and fresh breakfast, thoughtfully prepared by our hostess. We also had the pleasure of sitting outside on the terrace, enjoying the peace and quiet. We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely be back!

Reviewed Oct 1, 2024A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .

Reviewed Apr 1, 2024Peter and Corrie have transformed an old milk factory into an exceptional, modern, quaint and beautiful bed and breakfast. They are professional hosts and have a passion and love for what they do. It is a little off the beaten path so I recommend having a car. It is quiet, clean and set in a beautiful atmosphere. I made friends with the hosts and other guests because everyone is so happy and friendly. I would highly recommend oude melkfabriek. An added bonus: next door is a functioning windmill that you can tour two days a week.
