Craic n' Ceol Apartment

The property was very clean. Bed was excellent. Very nice decor. We were very happy with it. It is in a very convenient spot. Suited us very well.

The fridge isn’t cold enough so milk didn’t keep.

All of it apart from air conditioning

Air conditioning working for first 5 days. After that l put money in but not working.

El apartamento era fantástico. Justo como se ve en las fotos. El check-in y check-out tremendamente ágil. Y la atención online también rapidísima. Repetiré seguro si tengo la oportunidad.

Debo nombrar lo de la música del bar abajo para huéspedes con sueño ligero, para que lo tengan en cuenta (yo sin embargo no cambio mi valoración porque para mí fue incluso un plus).

The room was great, the noise below isn't as bad as some make out it's like a home from home loved it already looking for a return the staff in the bar below are great too 10 ⭐

Struttura molto buona e ben tenuta, in pieno centro e a due passi dal centro commerciale. Bagni nuovi e ben tenuti, pulizia massima.

L’aria condizionata (anche se non scritto) era a pagamento, in ogni caso non l’abbiamo usata perché si sta bene. Pochi posti dove posizionare indumenti, aggiungerei qualche mensola. Difficoltà a parcheggiare magari comprerei un posto auto. Davvero sono sciocchezze perché era tutto perfetto.

Hay un bar debajo con musica hasta las 2am que no te deja dormir. Si quieres utilizar el aire acondicionado tienes que pagar

La situación

Hay un Pub, debajo que tiene música en vivo todas las noches hasta las 01,00 horas, así que dormir a partir de esa hora Nunca en todos mis viajes he tenido que pagar por el aire acondicionado aquí si Te duchas y el agua se sale fuera del plato ducha así que a pasar la fregona Los azulejos del baño tiene las juntas negras hay productos limpiajuntas que pueden utilizar para limpiarlas Te asomas al balcón y vez techos sucios y olores a cocinas

It is a delightful flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a balcony with good views. It's near the seafront and shop and bars and bus stops. But it is also directly above a music bar, where there is loud "Irish folk" music from 10 pm to 2 am every night.

The first night the music really kept us awake. We got more used to it - and some singers had gentler voices than others! One night I sat drinking Guinness in another Irish bar, listening to the live country and western music and trying to kill the time. But generally we were too tired from the beautiful sunshine lifestyle by 10 pm to be up for all the musical offerings.

The location is good if you want to be close to the bars and restaurants of the old town and port. It’s also a short walk to the beach and PDC ‘strip’. It’s spacious, with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, up-to-date smart tv with Netflix etc and a washing machine.

Noise from the street and the bar below was worse than we thought. Although, we were made aware and to a degree and I think this is reflected in the price, there were other issues. The worst of these was some black mould in the sky light in the en-suite, which smelled and the sticking of the front door, which needs planed back as currently it takes a deal of strength to open and close and makes a terrible noise when doin so. I think the views from the balcony aren’t great either and ought to be mentioned. Although it gets plenty of sun and you can see the sea in the distance, it overlooks a square and rooftops which are less than attractive, some would say grim.

Excellent location in old town short walk to harbour and 5 minute walk to the strip bars and restaurants all close by shopping centre 2 minutes walk. Owners very helpful and friendly . Would definitely stay there again.
