Unfortunately this place is a dump! I arrived to find no one there to help me, apart from a bunch of drugged out guys blaring music after midnight. One guy was running around talking to someone on a mobile phone, spoke no English but happen to know my name? Then disappeared. When I tried to ask for help no one seemed to know what was going on. Finally a guy staying there took me out back & grabbed a pod key from the back & just said, you can stay here.. directing me to a pod he said in broken English "I dont work here, I stay here too"! The pod, was old & Facilities were damaged, dirty, filthy, broken!!! After seeing this facility was not what was advertised & I had no help I left to find hygienic & better accommodation elsewhere. Im in the process of contacting booking.com for a full refund.

Horrible. Cheap capsule out of thin broken plastics. Evrything is broken. Extremly dirty. No privacy at all. You can hear the bteath of the neighboors.

Bed was prima. Personeel aardig.

De mogelijkheid voor ontbijt was er niet. De hygiene was ronduit smerig, dit veranderde iets toen zondag de schoonmaker kwam. Veel dingen kapot, niet bij gehouden, totaal niet zoals op de foto´s vermeld.

I did not like anything. It was dirty , scarey and unsafe.

I received an email out lining my check in . When I arrived at property nothing was as written in email . The pod I was allocated was broken a it did not lock. The place was dirty. I contacted the host shortly after arriving at 8 pm . They said they would come later on to sort out the pod . This was unacceptable and unsafe . I told them I would be checking out and requesting a refund . This refund has not been approved .

The location is very interesting. I met some nice people and had interesting conversations.

Some cigarette smoke came into my capsule.

There was no breakfast. There was free instant coffee and sugar.

There was never hot water in the showers. I had 3 or 4 showers and the water was too cold to put on my back. The kitchen floor flooded but it was flooded for only one day during Shabat and was not mopped up. Still the shower doesn't drain properly. Customers listen to their phones loudly and talk quite loudly in the evening until midnight when it finally settles down a bit.

Nothing bad to say!

Centrally located, close to a 24 hour makolet, great monthly rates if you stay after your booking. Laid back, informal very international vibes.

Nothing but good things to say. If you do arrive late there’s no staff just take an empty bed put the cash you owe into a safe. The cleaning lady will come the next day and properly check you in.

It's cheap and located in a good place with access to king george, old city, western wall, church of holy sepulchre.

It used to be an amazing place with amazing facilities don't know what changed them. The capsules are broken and damaged, you can't lock the doors, inside televisions, charging, headphones are not working. They moved the common kitchen area to the bathroom it's smelly and not clean. Even the toilets are not good, and the lockers are damaged and cannot lock. Hope they will bounce back soon....

We don't have a locker and it's noisy and we didn't sleep well maybe its nice to put a sound proff. Thank you

Capsule hotel in Jerusalem. Somewhere between a beit midrash and a Berlin squat—God’s own IKEA showroom with incense and rooftop sunsets. Each pod felt like crawling into a psalm: tight, intimate, humming with ancient tension and modern design. You fall asleep with the hum of prayer from down the block and wake up to the hiss of oat milk foam and some French backpacker playing oud. Staff were half-philosophers, half-bartenders, and entirely too kind. Everything smelled like cedar, citrus, and risk. It was clean, sacred, and a little unhinged. Like Jerusalem herself. I’d go back just to dream in that pod again.

No complaints—perfect for solo travelers, journos, activists, and digital nomads chasing clarity. Clean, quiet, weird in the right way. Rooftop is divine, Wi-Fi’s fast, coffee’s holy. Jerusalem’s soul in capsule form.

This place is a slump! It's a a disgrace that you let such a horrible place use your platform!

The place is disgusting I would rather sleep on the street then stay there

Terrible experience. The hostel is dirty, the capsules are in a terrible state and can’t be locked. There’s no staff. No staff. Also they charged me for two nights while I only spent one night there because I looked immediately for another hostel. Since then, I’m trying to get back my money for the extra night they charged but booking.com is not helping even if I sent the bank statement and all proofs

Everything. The worst hostel I have even seen and I have traveled to 60+ countries so I’m kind of used to sleep in hostels … Please don’t go

I loved the people there. So kind and open for amazing conversation. I have many more friends in a place I have been we been. I paid for the capsule and I loved it! I wanted to feel like I was in space. Mission Accomplished

Awful value for money, the capsules are made from plastic and the staff are awful. Made my partners blowdrier explode... all in all whouldnt pay more the 20 shekel for the ordeal...

The price and the location

When people talk outside the capsule, it wakes me up. Some talk late at night. If someone snores... you don't sleep...

The capsules are damaged and don’t close; anyone can enter. There is trash everywhere, a bad smell, and so on. The apartment owner, as well as Booking.com, are not responding.

I found someone sleeping in my capsule!! And there was no one to help in the reception... I went out and booked a room somewhere else because I had to get a room quickly. I have tried to contact the manager, but he stopped responding!! So i'm asking for a free cancelation...

The owner and staff were great, the place was clean and a great value.

I am looking forward to them updating the capsules, which they are planning to do once the war is over. Because of the lack of travelers from abroad, due to the war, the capsules have not been updated in a while, but there is really no reason people shouldn’t come here. It is completely safe unlike what the news would lead you to believe. I recommend staying here.

No stuff was there, not possible to call someone. Rare information through Whatsapp. Had to clean my capsule by myself.

Near Jerusalem Old City.

Air conditioning running 24h a day and very noisy and too cold that you couldn't barely sleep and have some rest. Very dirt in general that at some point you could find chicken bones and chips on the reception floor. Also, there was a flood on the WC corridor. Only the next day, a lady cleaner came around and made some work. No drinking water was available, only tap water. No staff, only a volunteer, who didn't help much to all customers arriving because he just disappeared most of the time. Even the nationals were very much disappointed when they saw the difference between the pictures and the reality. Looks like an easy way to make money.

the only thing available in the kitchen is a kettle and a refrigerator. no stove for cooking, only disposable cups and teaspoons for dishes. the capsules are horrible! everything is in cracks, very dirty between the walls and the mattress.

Location of the place is the biggest advantage.

This facility has already seen its best days. Lots of stuff is broken around there(usb ports, walls, steps to the capsule, faucets, light knobs, main lock to the capsule), and there is no wifi in the capsule area, even though the owner is sending the wifi password in the welcome message. On top of that, there was a group of people sitting in the bench area talking all night and scrolling shorts or TikToks without headphones till 0500am.

It seems important for anyone to keep seat while charging phone. Its only my opinion.

The location was good and great care was put into the Instructions on how to get there which really helped me find the hostel. Toilets looked good and clean and nice looking reception.

Unfortunately I was forced to move out after one night as I didn't feel safe. No real locks on the pod. No locker key and difficult guests meant I spent the night holding my door shut. I did ask for a refund of the other 2 nights under the special circumstances but no refund was given so I had to pay again elsewhere. Internet was also not working the next day. Id like to think this was all just bad luck on my part but as a female solo traveler it's important to feel safe and I didn't.

The location was good, and the instructions to get to the location were excellent. The place itself was not pleasant. The dormitories were dark, and one of the toilets was completely blocked. Also, there was loud music until 3am and it was not possible to sleep. I had an interaction with a gentleman who I assume was a staff member, but as he did not introduce himself as such, I wasn't sure. I wouldn't recommend staying in this place as a solo female traveller because I felt there was a lack of privacy.

Perfect hostel whit super location, about 7 min walk to old town, many shops and restaurants around. Very comfortable bed whit courtin which give a lot privacy. Staff are very nice .i defintly come back😉 n

Location. Location. Location. For a solo traveler, great idea! Great concept, in my opinion. Showers, pretty damn good (again, for old, solo, dude)! As long as one understands what they are getting, I like it.

Aesthetically, with circuitry half-attached to wall, both outside and inside, not a good look and does not inspire confidence. Depending upon whom you know to be your clientele, the TV (for example), may be overkill. Having both the lights (reading ones, in particular), and outlets for charging, seem the most important (and charging was slow, to slower, I think). “Push” hooks, for hanging, bungees (that’s just me🤷‍♂️)… some shelves in the recessed areas (like in a refrigerator door, with short “walls” to prevent falling) for handy, common use stuff, occur to me… I did not use the space long enough to become better acquainted, but I like the concept… a lot!
