Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Beautiful setting and scenery, not too far from Killybegs by taxi. Plenty of space to accommodate for our large family celebration. Clean bed linen and towels.
When we arrived at the property, it seemed that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in weeks. Dust and cobwebs in all the bedrooms, along with a very unpleasant odour in both the kitchen and living area. We spent 2 hours cleaning when we checked in, ahead of the rest of our group arriving. The smell lingered all weekend, despite our cleaning. The upstairs shower stopped working multiple times (the host warned us about this before our stay) and one of the shower heads was broken so you had to hold it up during use. It’s a real shame that we had these issues because the house is beautiful and has the potential to be fantastic!

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026The property was spacious for all of our extended family. It was super clean, it had everything that you needed for a home from home stay. The location was perfect with the most stunning views. Would highly recommend staying here.
The only thing we struggled with was the small oven. Due to the size of the property, sleeping 12, it could do with a double oven when cooking dinner for 12. It was a bit of a struggle.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Outstanding experience. Property is spacious, well maintained and clean. Created a welcoming atmosphere. The view of the harbour was amazing. The location was also convenient with easy access to shops, attractions and restaurants. Everyone in the group enjoyed the stay and we would love to return for another stay in future.

Unfortunate that 2 of the showers were not usable but we had been notified about this when we were en route to the house & the light in downstairs bathroom needs fixed. Also lack of tea towels in kitchen and we couldn’t find a teapot! TV reception not good

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025The location is unreal. The house is clean and comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. The host was so helpful and responded quickly. Beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sit. Loved that our neighbour was a donkey. Highly recommend this lovely house.
Couldn't get the hot water to work, and one of the doors wouldn't lock properly, but we let the host know, and she's going to get fixed. These were minor issues.

It was a large kitchen but most of the drawers and cupboards were empty. Could do with more plates, pots and pans etc if catering for lots of people and some microwave tubs.
