Great location.

We stayed in room 202. Rooms definitely need updating. Little musty smelling in hall and room in that wing. Also need to invest in a robust high speed network. If TV relying on wi-fi string signal 202 was rough. Constantly left dropping out and reconnecting throughout our stay. Thursday it was so bad we gave up and could not use TV.

Breakfast was excellent with a great hostess. Rooms were clean and very tidy

Air conditioning unit was a bit noisy.....typical of hotel rooms. Not the fault of the hotel.

I'm giving this a perfect score based mostly on how incredible the staff is. They are so, so warm and welcoming. I travel a lot all over the country for work, and this sort of attention to detail and genuine care is rare. The rooms are nicely appointed, maybe a bit dated, but clean and so comfortable. The patios are lovely. The pool is TOP NOTCH. My kids had a blast. The coffee bar is really nice, with a selection of beverages and Door County's finest brews. I was kind of blown away by the quality vs. price. We were only there one night on our way somewhere else, but would absolutely go again for longer. Thank you.

The Good: Great location. Staff were very nice. Coffee bar and open areas were updated and comfortable. Did not use pool so cannot comment.

I'm frankly surprised by the positive reviews. Hotel appears to be several decades old but was somewhat updated in what appears to be the early 2000's. Air conditioning unit was awful, either freezing or hot with no humidity reduction. The humidity in the room was astronomical. We called down and mentioned how uncomfortable it was and a maintenance person came up the next day and left a small countertop dehumidifier in the room. It unfortunately did not help much. This is a known issue as there's a placard on the door going to balcony that suggests keeping door closed for humidity reason. Also, the beds were quite lumpy and probably need replacement. Tiny bathroom. Coffee is not available until 7:30am. which really bummed out my spouse who is an early riser.

Room booking was deceptive. I booked assuming the room was a second floor room as I preferred, but was actually in a second building in a less desirable location on the first floor with no privacy on the outside patio

Great location, has an indoor & outdoor pool/hot tub, large(ish) rooms for big families, and MOST of the people working there are great. They have a nice drink bar were you can make hot & cold drinks.

One lady working the front desk is so out of type from the rest of the folks that run the front desk. I spilled a drink at the drink bar as my cup got stuck on one of the spouts and it pulled from my hand and spilled on the ground. I attempted to clean it up on my own, but it would used all the napkins - so I went to the front desk letting them know. The lady got immediately rude. Maybe it was her time to leave, not sure - it was a small cup of hot chocolate. She huffed and puffed over, look at the mess and was like "What are you guys doing??" - so I said firmly it was just an accident, and it happens just letting her know her tone was not appreciated. She did stop talking, but was huffing and puffing the whole time. One person can ruin the team, and she certainly doesn't fit with the rest of the great people at this place. Train her up, or train her out.

Room was excellent. Family of 6 with young kids fit well. Carpet could use some cleaning.

No elevator, none of the reviews or hotel posted this. Room had a musty smell, which went away when opening the balcony door. No breakfast which was in other reviews. Pillows were flat.

Always an easy check in with friendly staff. Very quite even though the entire place was full.

The location can’t be beat, the staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

Our room was very humid, even with air conditioning which made things uncomfortable.

The room was kind of stuffy as there was not a lot of air flow. Bathroom with shower and toilet is tight.

The room and the hotel's location were excellent.

Vacuuming the hallway before 10:00 AM on a Sunday was not pleasant.

We weren’t done with activities until around 8:30 but could use the pool and hot tub because quiet time starts at 9. I could understand maybe 11pm but this is summer time in a tourist destination. Having a 9 pm quiet time made it feel like we were in a nursing home

Clean room, easy access around the property. Good location.

Coffee is not available until 7:30am. There is a 4 cup coffee maker in room, however when more than one person drinks coffee, it’s not as convenient.

The hot tub was very relaxing.

Location is excellent for getting to the State Park and downtown Fish Creek is a short walk away. Good basic hotel. Clean, family friendly.

Little dated in the interior -- reminds you of a nursing home from 1982.

Tiny bathrooms, vanity/sink outside of bathroom awkward, hard beds, too early for pool to close, not enough mirrors. The reviews did not add up to our experience. Very nice front desk man though.

We made the reservation as an impromptu night in Door Co and had no expectations. The property was well-kept and very clean. The self-service coffee bar was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We look forward to staying there again.

We stayed in one of the condos. It was wonderful - particularly for families who like their space. The location in Fish Creek was perfect! Not directly downtown, but close walking distance to a couple restaurants. Our condo was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the price was reasonable (we went at the end of March).

The only downside is that the condo where we stayed was in a separate building so it's a little bit inconvenient to use the pool. Not a deal breaker at all though! We'd definitely stay here again!

hot tub out of order and the reason we booked the property was because of this and vicinity to good dining options. Otherwise great stay, have stayed there multiple times and would again with working hot tub.

Location is great, it was quiet, coffee and beverage service was great, room was clean and bed was comfortable .We were also happy to be able to book just two nights, where other places required three.

Bathroom needs a shelf or countertop. Sink outside the bathroom was a little strange . Also lighting in the room could have had a separate switch so lights near the bed could be controlled separately from the ceiling lights.

Very clean, comfortable beds, excellent picture on tv, availability of hot tub and pool, and bike storage. Also, the coffee was delicious. I also liked how quiet it was at night time.

I didn't like the loud screaming kids in the pool area- that was a big turnoff. I also didn't like the very loud air conditioner in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location! The window wouldn’t lock when we arrived but a lady came and helped us get it to latch.

The cleaning staff left our exterior door unlocked while we were away.

Location was perfect. We were able to walk to most places we planned to visit. Liked the deck off our room to enjoy a beverage after a busy day.

Room could have been a little larger but certainly met our needs. We wished the coffee would have been ready earlier than 7:30 am
