Lake and the City Bed and Breakfast

My stay was unreal! Beautiful, clean, quiet and a delicious breakfast. Will be back again

If we could rate 6 stars out of 5 we would! Suzana and Allan were outstanding hosts and thought of every detail to make our stay one to remember. Their home and yard are simultaneously posh and comfortable. We enjoyed great easy conversations over Suzana’s home made and upscale breakfast offerings. The room was comfortable and immaculate and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sunroom was relaxing with a private view overlooking the lake and city. Truly a place we will remember and look forward to returning soon.

The Hostess Suzanna is wonderful, sitting down for breakfast with her felt like I was visiting family. She went way out for breakfast, the food was fresh, creative and delicious. Property is beautifully landscaped with a spectacular view of the lake, I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee outside on comfortable patio furniture, fully covered. The place is spotless; comfy kingsize bed; beautiful bathroom and large walk in closet. I have no complaints of any kind, would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful hosts who kept an impecable property.

The room nd view were amazing , beautiful home / suites . Breakfast was great, and a nice conversion with some , very nice people .. thanks we will be back !!

Great experience staying at the Lake and the City. Great location, newly renovated home, very clean, and amazing hospitality. We will be sure to call again when we are back in Kelowna.

A very good owner and well kept place. Will go back there anytime i visit Kelowna

Excellent stay. Loved the breakfast and the local information the hosts have. The room was clean and comfortable. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Lake and the City!

We loved the beautiful view from the private hot tub, the delicious 3 course breakfasts that were unique recipes, and the super soft bed. The bathroom had plenty of quality amenities. Suzana is very friendly, had great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and shared some history of the city over breakfast.

It would be a mistake to miss out on this wonderful accommodation when visiting West Kelowna and area. The hosts are extremely welcoming, thoughtful, organized, and cheerful. Breakfasts are amazing and the hosts take time to consider many of the finer details. They truly want your stay to be memorable. The hosts communicate in advance and during your stay to ensure your arrival, check-in and stay go smoothly. You won’t be disappointed with the room, bathroom, private hot tub area, and view!

I had a great stay in Kelowna! The room was clean, cozy, and exactly as pictured. The location was perfect and close to downtown and all the spots I wanted to visit. The host was friendly and responsive, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kelowna!

Best experience we have ever had, house was great, food was great and felt like we were at home. Outstanding place to stay if you are ever in west Kelowna

Absolutely loved our stay. We booked the room with the jacuzzi and it did not disappoint. Breakfasts were wildly impressive. We were treated like kings and queens. Extremely clean and tidy. I'm honestly impressed with the whole experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We will be back!

Host is kind and great follow-up

Great spot. Probably the cleanest b&b we have ever stayed in. Wonderful hosts and great breakfast.

The property is meticulously clean and wonderfully decorated. The Hosts were amazing and breakfasts were delicious! Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Loved it!

Quite possibly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed -- the hosts were exceptional, the property is beautiful and modern, and the views were breathtaking.

Suzana was a fabulous host. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The room and private hot tube were comfortable and relaxing. Our comfort was a top priority for her. She made sure to offer recommendations for our stay in Kelowna based on our interests which were all bang on. Highly recommend ❤️

Suzan and her husband were great hosts. Great alternative to get quality B&B experience as opposed to a hotel.

Beautiful home in a good location. Comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms with private bathrooms, TV and internet service; other thoughtful extras are also included. Separate entrance from main home. Large communal room with fridge, microwave, eating area, and a lounge if you want to socialize, watch TV or play board games. Delicious gourmet breakfasts, no bacon and eggs here! Excellent service and friendly hosts who went beyond the norm to make our stay memorable. Thank you, Susanne and Alan. We hope to visit you again in the future.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Suzana’s charming bed & breakfast—truly a 5-star home experience. From the moment Suzana warmly greeted us upon arrival, it felt like being welcomed into a dear friend’s home. She took the time to personally introduce us to every detail. Every corner of the house was immaculately clean—no surface overlooked. The bed was heavenly comfortable, and the pillows just right. Plush, soft towels awaited us each morning, and I loved the thoughtful touch of providing three different body lotions, makeup remover wipes, sunblock, and even after-sun lotion. These little extras made our stay feel luxurious and cared-for. Hearty, Healthy, & Beautiful Breakfasts Suzana prepared a delicious three-course breakfast each morning, complete with fresh coffee and juice. The portions were generous and the meals healthy. It felt like dining in a friendly, upscale café—but in the comfort of a cozy home. The landscaped backyard was a peaceful haven, perfect for sipping coffee and reading a book in the morning sun. After a long day of travel, soaking in the hottub was the cherry on top We will absolutely be back. This stay exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for a B&B in Kelowna that feels like a true home with all the pampering of a boutique retreat, look no further—Suzana and her husband are super hosts in every sense. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts!

Suzana and her husband were the perfect hosts. They have a gorgeous property and the rooms were impressive and impeccably clean. My wife and I loved the breakfast that was prepared by Suzana. Thank you for the lovely stay. We hope to come back.

Suzana was a lovely host. The breakfasts in the morning were amazing. The suite was very clean with great bedding and towels. Everything was updated. Shared kitchen and living space with the second suite suited our needs. Great view of the lake and city!!

Friendly hosts, great breakfasts, immaculately clean. Enjoyed a 3 night stay in a very confortable room, with a large common area. Would highly recommend!

This Bed & Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. Suzane made healthy, delicious, and HUGE breakfasts. The property was extremely clean, newly built, and very peaceful. I would come and stay here again!

Outstanding. We had an amazing trip to Kelowna in no small part due to this lovely BnB. Excellent breakfasts, amazing service, beautiful room and view.

Suzana went out of her way to help us in visiting Kelowna. The breakfasts were exceptionnally good and the view of the City and the Lake is fantastic. The room and bathroom are modern and an attention to détails is big plus.

Amazing experience. As kind as could be. Suzanna even messaged be after as I forgot a bag there. Highly recommend.

The people at Lake and the City will make you feel like family. Amazing +A rating all around

The hot tub was amazing, so nice after a day out. The accommodation was lovely, however the breakfast was an aquired taste.

I have had the privilege of traveling across four different continents, visiting numerous cities and staying in top-tier five-star hotels. While Lake and the City Bed and Breakfast is a family-run establishment, in many aspects, it competes with luxury hotels in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, organization, and amenities. From the moment we arrived, Suzana and Allen made us feel like family. Their kindness, care, and attention to detail are unmatched. They provided fantastic recommendations for activities in Kelowna, helping us make the most of our trip. The room was immaculate, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing us to truly unwind. The hot tub room with a beautiful wooden interior was an unexpected luxury, making our stay even more special. Now, let’s talk about breakfast—Suzana is an incredible cook! Every morning, she prepared and served fresh, delicious meals with homemade baked goods, paired with perfectly brewed coffee. Without exaggeration, this was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere! The location is ideal—just minutes from Okanagan Lake, wineries, and downtown Kelowna, yet tucked away in a serene setting. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, this place offers the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and luxurious experience in West Kelowna, don’t hesitate to book here. I highly recommend and would absolutely return for another stay.

This is a new property and we had a fantastic stay. Suzana is a thoughtful and gracious hostess and the room was stunning, with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again - highly recommend!

very cozy place to stay at, welcoming owners and will make you really good breakfast from scratch :D

Beautiful view, lovely hosts

An exceptional stay. First rate accommodations and home cooked breakfast from Suzana made for a restful stay. We felt more like family friends than B&B guests. We'll definitely book again next time we're in Kelowna.

We enjoyed the common area, felt like home. Hosts were amazing. Beautifully decorated, lovely home. Separate entrance great. Location somewhat inconvenient. Would prefer a Kingsize bed.

This was our first experience using a B&B and it couldn’t have been better. Beautiful spotlessly clean property with exceptional views. However, it was our time spent with the owners over the most delicious breakfasts that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Breakfast was homemade unique and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this property. The location is a bit out of the way from the city amenities but only a 10 minute drive.

Our stay with Suzane and Alan was wonderful. Beautiful accomodations, amazing breakfast each day. Hosts were very helpful when asked about the area and extremely attentive. Well stocked bedroom - robes and slippers and bathroom needs - moisturizer, sun cream, and all other necessities. Wow!! What a great place to stay. The bed was super comfortable. The view amazing from a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Thanks so much!!

This is a perfect place to stay. So relaxing and so luxurious, such careful thought has gone into this accommodation. Lovely location and great accommodation with a dedicated hot tub which was relaxing. Great communal dining and relax area. The host and family were super ..and the three course home cooked gourmet breakfast was delicious. This was our number 1 place to stay in the 3 weeks we have been in Canada.

Our stay at Lake and the City B&B was wonderful. The hosts were very nice. They were welcoming and accommodating from arrival to departure. The main living space for guests was like being home and the bedroom was spacious, well designed and nicely appointed. Very comfortable! To top it off we had a full hot delicious breakfast in the morning. Would definitely come back again!

So far, this was the best B&B experience we've ever had. A beautiful house, in a fantastic location with a breathtaking view. The hosts Alken and Suzana are attentive and caring people who will do everything they can to make you feel at home. Breakfast was divine and the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had an amazing time with them and are already making plans to return soon.

Loved this place. We booked the room with the private spa tub (hot tub). It is only for that room. Had a private entrance. Beautiful view. The whole place was spotless. There is a common indoor and outdoor sitting area and kitchen as well. The hosts, Suzanna and Alan were so easy to talk too. Breakfast of fresh fruit, home baked biscuits, jam, and quiche were amazing. We enjoyed getting to know the hosts over breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

Very clean, quiet and well equipped property. Suzana is a great host, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay is welcoming and comfortable, her home make breakfast was awesome!

This home and the hosts are amazing. The property is beautiful and the room was extraordinary. Decorated like a 5* hotel. Beautiful beds and towels and the plus for our room was a private hot tub with a beautiful view. Highly highly recommend. We booked one night and but for us having ongoing plans we can’t change, we absolutely would stay longer. We will return. We haven’t had breakfast yet as I write this but we know the menu and I know, given the perfection of our hostess, it will also be something to rave about.

Great room, great service, great location! Would recommend this BNB to anyone!

This was our final stop on our week-long BC honeymoon before flying out of Kelowna, and we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay! Suzana and her husband were wonderful hosts, very personable and had some great recommendations for local restaurants and points of interest. And Suzana made us an excellent breakfast! She switches up the menu each morning which is also a nice touch. And our room was stunning! My husband and I stayed in the hot tub suite and everything from the en suite bathroom, to the comfortable king size bed, to the hot tub itself was perfection. And the view looking out over the city and lake is out of this world. If our travels ever bring us to the Kelowna region again, we will definitely be staying here again!

The best Bed and Breakfast experience to date. Allen and Suzanne were terrific hosts. . The ‘Lake Room’ is spectacular. Loved the hot tub.. 3 Course Breakfasts and great conversation from our hots started our wonderful days off in Kelowna. Can’t rate this high enough. This is the best place to stay in Kelowna.

Its like we stayed at a 5star hotel with extra personsl touch!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this place. The host are super friendly and welcoming. The area is very quite and you get such a nice view of the downtown Kelowna and Okanagan lake. We highly recommend sraying at this place! PS: The banana bread is amazing! :)

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and excellent decoration. The host was friendly and looked after us very well. Very nice view of the lake from the property. Strongly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Bed and Breakfast place! Spectacular views and comfortable rooms. The room had everything one would need from Sunscreen to beach towels. The quality of breakfast was top notch and Susana and her husband made our stay very comfortable! We will surely come back again!

Perfect Place to Unwind I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lake and the City B&B, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The house itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with a nice view of Okanagan Lake that added to the charm. After a long day of traveling, it was such a relief to relax in the hot tub. Breakfast prepared by Suzana was a highlight of our stay. Her delicious and thoughtfully cooked breakfast truly made our morning special! Overall, my stay at Lake and the City was amazing. The combination of comfort, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a truly memorable retreat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and restful getaway.

This was our first B&B Experience ever. We spent three days at Suzana and Allens property to celebrate or 30th Anniversary. It was close to all the things we wanted to do in the Kelowna area. We thank them immensely for their kindness , hospitality and humour. We had what was named the Superior Room, which was immaculate. Each morning there is a unique breakfast offering, which was usually a three course type of experience. The hosts are greatly invested in in their guests and go out of their way to accommodate. Words that best describe our stay would be: Affordable , friendly, professional, relaxed , clean and modern and welcoming. You wont be disappointed.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stayed there. Definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and it was the best! The hosts were so lovely, they had everything you could need. The views were amazing, the breakfast’s every morning were so delicious. You could smell the freshly baked goodies from downstairs. I must add it was also the prettiest view as you ate. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The room was clean and so beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and again they have everything you need! We booked the room that has the hot tub, highly recommend as it was so nice to sit out and look at the stars. We are already looking forward to our next stay here. Recommend anyone who is looking for a nice quiet and comfortable stay book this place! Suzana and Allen really did WOW us all weekend.
