No specifically designated parking area but got metered parking outside on street but no cost after shops close in evening and overnight . Noise and music from pub downstairs but the location, facilities and size of apartment very close to Supervalue was great .

Reviewed May 18, 2026The apartment was huge! We couldn’t believe there was a clothes dryer so it was so easy to do wash. Having 2 bathrooms was nice. The apartment was in a great location. We just walked downstairs to the pub and heard traditional music. Super great that you can park in the street overnight for free.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Location is great. Our 2 bedrooms 2 bath is so spacious. Large living room with 2 full-size sofa. Perfect for family. It also has washer and dryer and full kitchen. I wish we could stay longer. Plenty of parking right in front in the evening. Free after 6 pm. Lots off restaurants around. We are at Ravi’s right next door which was great with live music at 7:30 pm then listen to it through my bedroom window until 10 pm.
The front door to the building don’t seem to lock. We put in the code when we came and it changed from red to green to open. After that it never closed again and everyone just walk in and out.

Je kunt er prima koken en thuis eten, maar het is ook midden in de hoofdstraat, waar allemaal pubs en restaurants zijn. Vanuit Clifden kun je makkelijk naar het strand, een wandeling maken naar Clifden Castle, naar Letterfrack voor een hike op Diamond Hill, etc. Het appartement is aan de voorkant op de tweede etage. Van daaruit kijk je uit op de hoofdstraat. Door de pubs is het wel druk op straat.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Fin belligenhed midt på torvet.Meget centralt. Stor dejlig lejlighed. Skøn gåtur på Sky road lige uden for døren.Gode restauranter især The willow tree og Guys Seafood Bar. Nemt at parkere. Diamond Hill, Croagh Patrick og Letteshanbally nature walk -fantasiske steder.
Elektriciteten fungerede dårligt. Ikke altid varmt vand. Hver aften frem til kl 22-22.30 var der høj musik fra baren i ejendommen. De havde en højtaler på fortorvet. Vi levede med det.

La situation au dessus d'un pub a forcement un peu animé le début de la nuit. Un peu bruyant mais heureusement pas toute la nuit.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Les petites attentions. Il y avait un lave linge et un sèche linge qui ont été très utile. Un salon très spacieux et un appartement avec deux salles de bains, au top. Nous avons vraiment apprécier qu’il soit aussi spacieux.
Légèrement bruyant car nous sommes sous au dessus des pubs mais la l'unique s’arrête assez tôt donc ce n’etait pas si dérangeant. Parking payant dans la rue du logement, il n’y avait pas beaucoup de place libre quand nous sommes arrivés mais comme la rue est longue on fini par en trouver je suppose.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2025The location was excellent. The lift in the apartment was winner for our elderly friend. The sitting room furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. We had a small problem with the TV on arrival. Brian answered my text immediately. He was very helpful.
The wardrobe in the double bedroom smelled damp. We didn't use it. The hangers need replacing. The washing machine would not drain. The lights over the dining table are too harsh.

The live music below at Ravis and across the street could be heard from the apartment, but it was great, and they stopped promptly at 10pm. We took advantage of the washer/dryer, and found the location just couldn't be beat. We were meeting three other groups and found ours to be the most central.
Other than not knowing how a few appliances worked, there was no con for us with this apartment, and we figured those out.

We were at the front apartment 8, some noise from streets but at the height of the tourist season we didn’t mind .

Reviewed May 5, 2025Location of apartment 8 was excellent. Kitchen/dining/sitting area was very spacious and the place was spotless. The two bedrooms were a great size and one had an en suite. There was also another bathroom. The shower was excellent. Having a lift there was a super bonus too.
We did find it difficult to find the entrance to the apartment so an eircode or a detailed description of it's whereabouts would have been good. But after asking around we found it soon enough.
