Reviewed Sep 8, 2026L’accueil du personnel, l’emplacement, le confort de la chambre bien qu’elle soit petite pour une chambre « supérieure ».
Notre principale déception concerne le petit déjeuner. Nous avions lu dans des commentaires précédents que le petit déjeuner était de qualité avec des produits locaux. Nous avons donc réservé le séjour avec « petit dejeuner inclus ». Nous n’aurions pas dû. Le petit déjeuner est affiché à 15€ dans l’établissement. Or il n’en était rien. Peu de choix. Aucun produit de qualité (à part les thés et tisanes bio). Les œufs sont des no3 (œufs de batterie alors qu’ils étaient indiqués plein air). Fromages et jambon industriels. Confitures très sucrées et sans intérêt (marque Valade… sans aucun rapport avec des « produits locaux » et de « qualité »). Bref, grosse déception à ce niveau. Si nous avions su, nous n’aurions pas pris l’option petit déjeuner inclus. À bon entendeur…

L'entrée de l'immeuble où était situé la chambre était pas très cosy ni bien présenté. La chambre était vraiment petite et contrairement à ce qui était écrit, aucune vue ... On découvre après avoir réservé que les chambres sont dans la rue plus loin et pas là où se trouve l'accueil et le jardin, qui est l'endroit le plus sympathique.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Really fantastic suite. Nice and spacious and thoughtfully styled. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was cold which was a must in the heat. Fridge worked and it had a small kitchenette with glasses and cutlery. The main hotel is stylish, the courtyard is great for a drink. We didn't eat here as due to the great location, there are fantastic restaurants a short walk away in every direction. The majority of rooms, including mine are in annex buildings dotted around nearby to the reception and bar building. This was a non issue.
No complaints. We had friends who had to book rooms at this hotel same day and the hotel accommodated which was fantastic. They got the smaller rooms, which they would not recommend lol. One was giving dungeon vibes from these strange basement style windows (still all clean though). So I recommend go large or go home when booking ;)

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet sowie ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind in einem anderen Gebäude als die Rezeption und das Frühstück. Es gibt morgens ein kleines Buffet bei dem man trotzdem genug auswahl hat und für jede/n was dabei ist. Das Personal war auch mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage auch 1a. Wir würden wieder kommen.

La vicinanza al Porto Vecchio la rende un’eccezionale location dove trascorrere il proprio soggiorno a Marsiglia.

1. Номерний фонд не знаходиться у приміщенні готелю. 2. Номери знаходяться біля дороги, де вночі дуже шумно. 3. Першу ніч ми проживали у номері 101 (з дитиною), він знаходиться на першому поверсі і чули як над нами сусіди займалися коханням, дуже скрипіла ліжко. Чути абсолютно все. 4. Вікна виходять на проїжджу частину, що також вночі являється дуже шумною вулицею. 5. Номери відносно старі, але брудні. 6. Куллер з водою стоїть на першому поверсі (у номерах питної води немає), тобто, якщо ви проживаєте на третьому поверсі маєте постійно самі спускатися з порожньою пляшкою.

La Struttura ha una zona comune che dovrebbe essere completamente ristrutturata, il giardino che si vede nelle foto é differente dalle fotografie e molto trasandato. Fuori dall’ingresso del palazzo nel quale avevamo la stanza c’era un topo morto sul marciapiede di 30 centimetri, la moquette sulle scale che portavano alla nostra stanza erano macchiate, sporche e maleodoranti.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Lovely staff and beautiful rooms in the beating heart of Marseille. We only had one night here and it was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a breakfast which was an excellent spread and quite affordable (€15 each).

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Zimmer modern ausgestattet, Frühstücksraum & Restaurant in einem sehr schönen Hauseigenem Lokal. Lage ist natürlich 1a - nur 5 min vom Hafen oder eben 5 min zur Innenstadt zum shoppen. Cafes auch schnell zu finden.
Sehr stur beim einchecken- waren nur 30 min eher da, dennoch KEINE chance. Parkhaus zwar am ende der Straße nicht weit entfernt aber mit mehreren Koffern ein stressiges Unterfangen. Durch das Hotel bekommt man "nur" 1,50€ rabatt pro Tag auf die Parkkosten - für den Aufwand lohnt es sicht nicht finde ich.

La salle de bain est à rénover ( joints abimés voir noircis et un bon coup de nettoyage du tapis serait Utile. Les rideaux occultants ne le sont pas tout à fait, ils devraient être plus large. Petit déjeuner buffet correct mais peu être enrichi : proposer de l'eau gazeuse, les crêpes froides (pourquoi ne pas remplacer par une machine à crêpe ou alors un garde chaud), confiture fraise, proposer des gauffres et diversifier la partie salée (salade mélangée, charcuterie halal)

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Rustige en stille kamer, gelegen helemaal bovenaan op vijfde verdieping en voorzien van alle nodige comfort. Propere badkamer en fraai uitzicht over een deel van de oude stad. Stevig en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. We konden onze bagage in bewaring geven.

Sehr kleines Zimmer nach Hinten in den kleinen Hof raus wo eine sehr laute Klimaanlage die ganze Nacht durcharbeitet. Wir konnten die Fenster deswegen nicht offen lassen. Wir haben dann aber immerhin freundliche Hilfe vom Personal bekommen, die uns zentral die Klimaanlage einstellen konnten. Preis-Leistung passt hier nicht!

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026The Hotel was fine but there WERE issues. Breakfast was wonderful with a generous amount and a gorgeous open air garden in which to eat and relax. The hotel was close to the old harbour and all it's noisy fun - plus they had a relatively inexpensive arrangement with a nearby carpark for parking a couple of night.
The WIFI was more or less useless and there did not seem to be anything they could do about it. Telephoning the front desk was simple but their phone system distorted their voice into mechanical drivel and I had to go gown there (and it's in a different building) In the end they were not able to solve it. The lift to our room was so small that it was more or less impossible for two people and luggage to use it. All in all, the hotel seems to pride itself on being 'cool' but it's failing on some pretty basic points. If we had been there on business and had to deal with these issues I would have been livid

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026L’hôtel particulier est magnifique. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, au cœur du centre, à deux pas du vieux port dans une rue très calme. Les chambres sont situées dans un autre bâtiment. Ma chambre était meublée simplement et petite. La literie de bonne qualité. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins. Je les félicite pour leur chaleureux accueil. Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais pas à la hauteur de l’hôtel malgré le choix : omelette en poudre, café industriel ,…la qualité n’est pas au rendez-vous. C’est dommage.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Maison Montgrand is very well located, in close proximity to the vieux port. It offers a deal with one of the city’s garages, which is quite convenient if you’re planning to drive around.
The property is not very well maintained, especially the appliances. The hairdryer kept overheating and stopped working after a few seconds. The shower head would not stay in place. The towels are very small and they only give you one per guest, who ça means there’s no other towels to dry your hair for example.

Unfortunately, three things that were quite disappointing and unacceptable considering the hotel range and rate prices in our opinion as frequent travellers, are: 1. Really bad wifi signal - it barely connected or let us load basic images, texts or browse - which made it quite a bad experience as mobile data inside our room was also very bad, basically no coverage; Gladly, we were there for leisure, so we were quite disconnected. (We had a hard time doing online check-in or checking maps and bookings per instance) For a work trip, it would be extremely disruptive; 2. Locked central air conditioning with no temperature control - or mode options - we couldn't change the direction and/or temperature of the AC system - that made the room extremely hot or cold in a few moments of the day. 3. We already knew that the room didn't have a fridge or a minibar, but we were informed that the hotel could provide

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft in zentraler Lage. Bis zum alten Hafen sind es nur wenige Schritte, trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Ein Parkhaus ist gleich am Ende der Straße. Es gibt ein Haupthaus mit kleinem Gärtchen, wo man auch frühstücken kann. Wir waren nicht im Haupthaus, sondern in einem schräg gegenüberliegenden Gebäude untergebracht. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ruhig. Alles war freundlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen.
Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
