Gut eingerichtete Wohnung, alles vorhanden was benötigt wird, zum Kochen, zum Duschen. Gute Informationen des Gastgebers, unkompliziertes Check-in. Super Lage direkt im Zentrum, trotzdem am Abend ruhig.

Die Wohnung liegt im Souterrain, das wird weder beschrieben noch ist es auf den Bildern ersichtlich. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir niemals diese Einheit gebucht. Mindert leider den sonst guten Eindruck der Wohnung, sehr schade. Dieser Hinweis gehört zur Beschreibung unbedingt dazu.

* Darstellung der Unterkunft: Für uns war im Buchungsprozess nicht eindeutig erkennbar, dass es sich um ein Kellerapartment handelt. Die Fotos bzw. deren Zuordnung empfanden wir als irreführend. * Abweichung von der Beschreibung: Die im Inserat erwähnte bzw. beworbene Terrasse war vor Ort nicht direkt zugänglich. * Geruch: Obwohl die Wohnung als Nichtraucherunterkunft gekennzeichnet ist, wies sie bei unserer Ankunft einen deutlich wahrnehmbaren und intensiven Geruch auf. * Erwartungen: Aufgrund der Darstellung bei Booking.com hatten wir andere Erwartungen an die Unterkunft und waren entsprechend enttäuscht.

* Kommunikation: Sehr schnelle, freundliche und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. * Entgegenkommen: Der Vermieter war bereit, die Situation telefonisch direkt mit uns zu besprechen und eine Lösung zu finden. * Lösung: Uns wurde eine Verkürzung des Aufenthalts auf zwei Nächte ermöglicht, wodurch unkompliziert auf unsere Unzufriedenheit mit der Unterkunft reagiert wurde. * Transparenz für die Zukunft: Es wurde vereinbart, das Inserat anzupassen und die Darstellung der verschiedenen Wohnungen eindeutiger zu gestalten, um ähnliche Missverständnisse künftig zu vermeiden.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very nice and welcoming, and the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be more convenient — it’s literally a one-minute walk to the train station, and there’s a supermarket right downstairs. Getting around was extremely easy. I’m usually quite picky about accommodation, but honestly, I was very happy with this place. It was comfortable, convenient, and everything worked very well. We would definitely stay here again!

One small thing to note: in the evening, it’s better to keep the windows closed when the lights are on, as some small flying insects may come in.

it is small, but has good arrangement. air conditioner was inadequate, though there are state restrictions on these.

Wat ons het meeste beviel aan de accommodatie was de gezellige en rustige sfeer. Alles was netjes verzorgd en we voelden ons er meteen thuis. Ook de mooie omgeving en de fijne voorzieningen maakten ons verblijf extra aangenaam. We hebben er echt van genoten! 😊

Meiringen駅のすぐ裏のメイン通り沿いに位置し、スーパーやカフェも近くにある非常に良いロケーション。何よりも、他の人もレビューしているとおり、オーナーがとても親切で、きめ細かいケアをしてくれるため、安心して滞在できた。決して大きなアパートメントでは無いが、２人と小型犬１匹の６日間の滞在には丁度良く、非常に快適に過ごすことができた。

強いて言えば、アパートメントの隣にインド料理レストランがあり、どことなく香辛料の匂いがしたこと。毎晩カレーが食べたくなるかも知れません。

Kitchen. It was stocked. Enough utensils to cook. Terrace. Sleeping space was enough. Ac is there. Walking distance from train station. Enough space for 3-4 people.

Sleeping space was crammed. Since it was an attic, we ended up bumping our head multiple times. It was on third floor with no elevator. Taking luggage up and getting it down was pain staking. No parking on site. There was issue with air conditioning but it was taken care on last day by the owner. I wished I had informed him earlier. Bathroom quite small.

Não sei se estava claro que se tratava de um apartamento no porão, atrás de uma pizzaria. Pelas imagens imaginei algo muito melhor. A varanda que mostram fica em outra parte do edifício, mas não chegamos a ir a. Além disso, o apartamento não está muito limpo, quando chegamos matamos mais de 20 moscas. O ar condicionado é portátil, quando chegamos a janela estava aberta, por isso cheio de moscas e pasmem, encontramos 3 aranhas enormes em menos de 12 horas no apartamento. Sinceramente foi muito decepcionante. A qualidade dos colchões também deixa muito a desejar. O cheiro forte de cigarro também incomodou bastante. Definitivamente não repetiria.

Kitchen was complete with all utensils , coffee etc and clean. Location was good.The host was very responsive.

The main bedroom was very small and uncomfortable. The triangle shaped roof is converted to an apartment and inconvenient. The second so called bedroom had 2 bunk beds with very low roof and dangerous for children . You have to climb a vertical ladder of about 6 ft and crawl inside. The AC was a portable one kept in the leaving room and kept roaring all night. Overall the house was quite hot. No lift and on the 3 rd floor with almost vertical stair case. We had to drag the luggage all the way up.

A little small for 2 adults 2 kids, with only 1 small bathroom. But it wasn’t a big deal, just wanted to add awareness

The location was good right in the centre of Meirengen . There were no lifts in the building our room was on the 3 rd floor so we had to face a little difficulty with the luggage . Rest it was ok the host was helpful .

Location was prefect right in the middle of all the action. Plus the attention to details for the traveler; fans, window ac, washer and dryer, extra toothbrushes, etc

No elevator

Very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed for quick meals although there are good restaurants next door. Supermarket and train station is just down the street. Ralph was quick to respond and super kind. We will use his place again.

We loved everything about the apartment. Our host Mr Ralph was very kind, thoughtful and helpful. We felt at home for the 3 days we stayed there. The unit was clean, easy access to train station & migros, complete kitchen utilities and spacious for big families. Excellent choice in Meiringen for those who wants to have a perfect holiday.

Every thing was amazing about this apartment no comment you can think about. The apartment is completely filled with everything you need and more + Clean and comfortable with a very decent, hospitable handsome man that you’ll meet (Ralph) also location is very good.

Location is perfect, host is really cooperative and decent. Apartment is Good for a family but not 5 adults. Kitchen is fully equipped.

There were not enough toilets papers for 5 days. No dishwashing soap, handwashing soap was also enough for single day so we bought all those stuff by ourselves. The apartment was in underground which takes 11 stairs and it wasn't mentioned while booking. I will not recommend this for older people or someone having injuries. One room have 1 bunk bed and 1 single that's only good for kids if you are 5 adults it will be hard to manage they also need to change mattress and pillows. There is only 1 washroom/toilet. As the apartment is in underground and there is no Ac, so if you opening the windows you are welcoming mosquitoes and spiders ( they need to install Net to windows). Note: Property has no parking you can use public parking space which cost 2 CHF/h.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement, qui est superbement situé. Il est très propre, bien entretenu et agréable à vivre. Nous souhaitons toutefois formuler quelques remarques constructives. La cuisine pourrait être un peu mieux équipée pour accueillir six personnes : nous n’avons trouvé que quatre assiettes pour le petit-déjeuner ainsi que quatre chaises, ce qui est un peu juste pour un groupe de six occupants. Il serait également utile de préciser dans l’annonce que l’appartement se situe à l’entresol, afin que les futurs voyageurs disposent de toutes les informations nécessaires avant leur arrivée. Malgré ces quelques détails, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et remercions notre hôte pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons volontiers.

What I really liked about Ralph’s apartment is the cozy, welcoming vibe, and that beautiful village setting near Meiringen. It’s bright, well laid out, and just feels peaceful a perfect spot to enjoy both nature and comfort.

Excellent stay! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Ralph was a very kind and helpful host, always responsive and welcoming. The location is great, in a lovely village and perfect for visiting the region. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

As an architect couple, we truly enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend it to everyone. We stayed in the two rooftop apartments, which are exceptional: full of natural light, beautifully furnished, and clearly recently refurbished. The balcony, on the same level, offers plenty of sun throughout the day and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The building itself is also very charming and full of character. The host did everything possible to ensure we had an incredible stay. Ralph was always easy to reach, extremely kind, and both very professional and genuinely human in his approach. In times where impersonal hosting is often the norm, this was a real highlight and made our holiday even more memorable. The location is also perfect, just a few meters from the train station, which was especially convenient for us traveling with children and grandparents by train.

Nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back to this region, and we would not hesitate to stay again in the rooftop apartments.

Location of property is very good and Owner is very helpful we stayed for 7 days and it has everything inside for family … Kitchen is very good with all stuff Except Dishwasher… Owner is very good person he helped a lot in everything….

Very clean, comfy bed and modern well-equipped kitchenette

It’s all about expectations. We booked a small appartment and from the pictures during the booking I expected a different look & feel. The living room was not as cozy or premium as seen on the pics.

Excellent, clean and fully furnished apartment. Easily accessible from the railway station. A lot of thoughtfully provided facilities with minute details. There was everything that a family would want. A well equipped and amply stocked kitchen, toilet with a bathtub, a beautiful terrace outside. And a host (Ralph) who was readily available on call. We really enjoyed our stay.

Soweit alles! Küche war gut eingerichtet. Wir wussten das es ein altes Haus ist ohne Lift, deshalb kein Problem. Betten waren gut. Aussicht , ganz besonders von der Terrasse super🤩Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Für mich und meine Familie war alles sehr gut.

Extremely Disappointing Stay The room was overpriced and definitely not worth the money. The living area had several spiders, which made it very uncomfortable—especially for the kids, who were frightened. Overall, a terrible experience.

The host is super friendly and a great representation for swiss culture as first impression dealing with international people I was very satisfied with our experience and the Apartment is just spectacular all the small details are amazing the terrace has a perfect view to the mountain 🌄 and the bathroom has a creative idea for an open window that you see the mountains while showering 😂🤍 that was my favourite part. The location is very close to Interlaken and Grindelwald. The apartment has coffee machine that you can start your day with ❤️ and too many equipments for cooking I love the kitchen. We had wonderful experience me and my family and will definitely repeat it again 😊

Peaceful town, wonderful countryside, with great hiking spots. Great appartman for young parents with smaller children.

If you don't like or can't climb stairs, don't choose this appartman. If you don't like the smell of curry, don't choose this appartman. There's an Indian restaurant next to it.. The terrace is not just yours, all the residents can use it.

The apartment was equipped with basic kitchen essentials and a washing machine, and the owner was responsive to our general queries

Our stay was extremely disappointing and distressing. The apartment turned out to be a basement directly beneath a bar—something not disclosed on Booking !! It lacked fresh air and natural light, with no proper windows or ceiling clearance, leaving us in a suffocating environment. When we opened the small windows, people from the adjacent backyard could see inside, compromising our privacy. The entrance was just like a war shelter, making us feel unsafe, especially at night. We tried to find alternative accommodation, but due to the high season, options were limited and unaffordable. Unfortunately, the owner was unwilling to offer any refund or even negotiate a partial stay. This was far from the Swiss experience we expected, and I strongly urge future guests to be cautious before booking this property

The listing is misleading. Nowhere, it says that the property is in the basement. It was such a big disappointment that you pay 1200 euros to stay in a basement with no view. Listing mentions that it has a terrace which is actually in the other building. Also, the apartment was not meant for 7 people. It could hardly fit 5 people.

The location of the apartment as everything is around you. The apartment is duper clean and the host is very helpful. The apartment is equipped with everything you can imagine.

The apartment is considered in the basement where there is no much air circulation.

Excellent location within a block of the train station and a grocery store. Wonderfully stocked kitchen. Laundry facilities in the building. Host was very helpful in providing suggestions for nearby excursions. We enjoyed Rosenlaui Falls, funicular from town up to Reichenbach Falls then monster wheeled scooters down, Aare Gorge, and Interlaken. If we can return then Gelmerbahn and Grindelwald First are on our list to visit (both take a bit of advanced planning for tickets).

The apartment is located within walking distance to the train station, supermarket and cafe/restaurants. The house is beautiful with a loft area which our children love it! Kitchen is fully equipped which utensils, cutlery and seasonings. Bathroom has all the amenities too. The host is friendly and helped us a lot. Before we checked in, he helped us to register for the guest card, which we can use for free transport and attraction discount for the Meiringen region. During our stay, he helped us to dispose our trash as we are not sure how and where to do it. Also, he gave us chopsticks and brought a new roll of kitchen towel after we informed him that we'd run out of the kitchen towel. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and accommodation!

The location is excellent, right in the center of Meiringen, with everything nearby and easy access to public transport. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable for a short stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like — everything was great!

The location is 2 min walk from Train station. The rooms are clean will all amenities for a family to stay comfortably. Host Ralph is very interesting and co-operative person. Allowed us to check-in early and allowed access to the room to store and collect baggage till evening on the day of check-out. Thanks Ralph!

Parking long term is a little difficult (free parking is far... but reachable by a short ride with public transport) It was very noisy on new years eve, all night. (and no warning was given by the landlord) The balcony on the pictures is common and on another floor.

The host was friendly and incredibly responsive to requests for help or questions. The apartment was well organised and well equipped.
