Eden Island Luxury Apartment - White Sand

Eden island was fantastic and we’ll be going again. This property is ideally positioned close to the amazing beach and also the shops / plaza area.

Whilst the property is a good size it lacks maintenance. All basic items that should have been fixed, coffee machine that takes pods you can’t purchase, hair dryer not working, bbq needs replacing (works but the grill is falling apart), external light bulbs not working that means it’s difficult to eat outside. All easy items to fix but too many small items means that we will look for an alternative next time.

Nichts. Nothing.

Sowohl bei der Unterkunft an sich, als auch insbesondere bei dem vermeintlichen Besitzer (arroganter, respektloser, betrügerischen, geldgieriger junger Mann) haben wir unzählige Probleme gehabt. Wir wurden schlecht und respektlos behandelt. Der o.g. Besitzer war nicht erreichbar, selbst die Rezeption hat mehrere Stunden und Umwege benötigt um diesen zu erreichen. Nach einigen Recherchen auf Mahe, bestätigte sich unser Bild von dem Besitzer. Er ist unter den Einheimischen und auch der Angestellten an der Rezeption wie oben beschrieben bekannt. Uns wurde auch von mehreren ähnlichen Problemen im Zusammenhang mit ihm und seinem Umgang berichtet. Das laute Bauarbeiten unmittelbar auf der Ebene der Unterkunft stattfanden, den Balkon einnahmen und unnutzbar machten sowie den Schlaf früh am Morgen bereits um 07.30 Uhr unmöglich machten, interessierte ihn nicht. Kein Entgegenkommen, keine Empathie. Ganz im Gegenteil, er drohte und forderte eine sofortige Zahlung ohne Abstriche und versuchte noch uns zu betrügen. Erst das Einschalten der Polizei wies ihn kurzzeitig in seine Schranken zurück. Sämtliche Mängel wurden umgehend mit ihm und seinem Manager kommuniziert. Der Manager kam auch vor Ort und stellte die Umstände persönlich fest. Diesem waren aber aufgrund der Arroganz, Sturheit und Gier des Besitzers die Hände gebunden. Ich erspare allen die weiteren umfangreichen Details wie die dreckigen veralteten Möbel, dreckiger Balkon, etc. - eine absolute Warnung an alle die hier buchen wollen!!! Ich bin viel auf der Welt gereist, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Ein totales Disaster.

The property was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect—it’s close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptional: incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect stay. We would definitely come back!

Appartamento ampio. Letti molto comodi. Abbiamo apprezzato la possibilità di fare il barbecue sul terrazzo. Posizione ok per appoggio vicino a Aeroporto/Victoria/altre escursioni.

Purtroppo erano in corso lavori sulla facciata dell'edificio e, durante il primo pomeriggio, mentre i bambini riposavano e avevamo ancora il pranzo sul tavolo del terrazzo, gli operai sono arrivati a lavorare proprio all'altezza della ringhiera, usando attrezzi rumorosi. Oltre al fastidio di non poter risposare è mancata anche la privacy.

Résidence au top. Plages, piscines , terrain de tennis, terrains de padel, salle de sport. Nous avions à disposition une petite voiturette pour se promener dans le complexe. Appartement sympa. Avec lave linge et sèche linge. Grande terrasse

Il ne manque pas grand chose pour la perfection! - laver la housse du canapé - réparer la prise de la lampe de chevet - réparer le tiroir du meuble dans la chambre - vérifier l’état des verres certains étaient ébréchés.

The location and the island are amazing.

The apartment needs maintenance, the furniture is worn out, and some light bulbs don't work. The apartment needs proper upgrades to match the location and price paid to stay there.

Selbstversorger

Die ganze Wohnung ist sehr abgelebt und zum Teil sehr schmutzig (Küche, Dusche, Couch). Wenn man mit dem Flieger anreist sollten ein paar Kücheneinrichtungen wie Putzlappen und Tuch vorhanden sein. Auch das Geschirr war sehr spärliche nicht einmal zwei Weingläser, Teller zum Teil kaputt alles sehr klebrig und schmutzig, der Wasserhan in der Küche hing mehr recht als schlecht ins Waschbecken. Die Dusche war sehr schmutzig vor allem an den Fugen und Ecken. Die Matratze ist wahrscheinlich noch aus 1900??? Man spührt jede Feder alles andere als bequem. Die Nachttischlampe ging gar nicht, aber mit einem kaputten Stecker auch nicht verwunderlich. Die Couch ist so schmutzig, dass man sich ohne Handtuch gar nicht hinsetzen mag. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt, schade dass die Wohnung da in keinem Fall mithalten kann.

Eden Island was the perfect location before our sailingtrip. The apartment was great, checkIn was easy and everything worked out perfectly.

No coffee machine or coffee provided like other units have. No shower gel or shampoo but the host provided this soon as was advised. Only strange thing was the credit card used to guarantee booking was debited without me been informed which resulted in blocking of the card, as the host had already been advised on how payment was to be made

My recent stay at this property was fantastic. It’s a newly opened accommodation, so everything was fresh and pristine. I loved the many facilities available, such as swimming pools, tennis courts and especially the gym. Very comfortable, there is easy access to everything nearby, probably the best located apartment on Eden Island. The value for money was excellent, and cleanliness was excellent too. Highly recommended
