Coolest Apartments in Haarlem City - close to Beach and Amsterdam

Location is fantastic, walking distance to the the old town of Haarlem. The apartment is very cosy and had everything we needed.

Excellent location, good facilities, host was excellent and helpful

No parking but that’s rare for somewhere central

The location is perfect. The suite has everything you need. Simon is an excellent host. He responds very quickly and is very helpful with suggestions.

The only thing that was a challenge were the stairs. We had a fairly heavy luggage and it was a challenge to get it up and down. But we only had to do that twice! Simon even offered to help us so that was very kind.

Emplacement idéal pour sillonner Haarlem et même toute la région grâce aux bus et trains à proximité. Literie confortable. Pièce de vie très agréable (plus petite que la photo grand angle sur Booking, mais grande tout de même !) Communication parfaite avec Simon, très pédagogue et et très réactif. Equipement complet (grand frigo, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, casseroles et poêles, etc…)

Chambre très petite. Salle de bains minuscule. Fenêtres de la pièce de vie et de la salle de bains impossibles à ouvrir (aération uniquement en ouvrant la chambre sur cour). Vaisselle en trop petite quantité. Tapis du salon taché. Mais sinon tout était très propre et en très bon état.

Even though it was on a major street, the bedroom is in the back so it was very quiet. Close to the bus stop & 14 min walk to the train station This was an easy train ride to Amsterdam Nice quiet city to relax in

Very steep spiral staircase to get to the apartment on the 2nd floor. It was difficult with luggage I would not recommend if you have mobility issues

Excellent location. Easy access. Friendly and accessible host. Apartment had all the amenities we needed.

Simon was the BEST. The apartment was very clean and quite functional. The location was excellent.

Location IS exceptional for longer stay. We were there a week. Grocery store very close. Market and main square very close. Train station is a 15 min brisk walk 8/10ths of a mile. Felt very safe. Property was clean, and exactly as described. Had all modern conveniences. Fridge, dishwasher, oven/micro countertop induction 4-burner, full set of dishes, clothes washer. Toilet separate from shower area. Small dresser area for clothes. Communication from property owner, Simon, was responsive, outstanding and welcoming. Highly willing to accommodate

Couch is small, and not very comfortable. It can't fit two people comfortably. It seems more of a chaise lounge. Bedroom is separate from living area, but the bed wasn't accommodating for two friends traveling. More suited for partners or a couple. Bedroom was slanted a bit and kinda tight area because it was top floor, slanted roof. We did have trouble getting TV to work. Wi-Fi was good. We were out so much that it didn't really matter. I had an iPad so I could stream on that. Steps to 2nd floor are winding. They are not steep. Occasional difficulty carrying stuff up, and top railing slight wobble. Pack lighter, and you'll be okay. If you are not in shape. You might struggle. Table with high bar stools are not my taste. Would prefer lower table. Temp was a bit higher, due higher up. Summers may be hot. All things mentioned are personal preference, but would absolutely stay here again, due to location and availability of property owner . Most things were quite comfortable. A written book of all information would be a great idea for reference. Instructions for stove, etc. Also consider changing out Couch.

Excellent location in the heart of Haarlem and a short walk to the station. Simon (the host) was very responsive and attentive to our queries. The apartment was well equipped for cooking our own meals each day and very quiet despite being in the middle of town.

It lacked some of the finer details that would have made it a perfect stay such as more comfortable pillows for the bed and the bar stools were not really the right height for the dining table to eat comfortably. A few more serving dishes like larger bowls would also be helpful.

This was the highlight of our European holiday. The apartment was fabulous. We felt so welcome from the moment our booking was accepted, which I have read out to many of our friends, to all the helpful videos for access including empting the rubbish, which for us. It was wonderful to be so close to everything and to be able to come back to the apartment and feel like we coming home. Thankyou so much for sharing your Apartment with us.

Communication was great, the location within Haarlem is perfect. The apartment basically had everything we needed, even for a 2 week vacation with washing machine and dishwasher included.

Couch was lacking a bit of comfort, especially for two people. Same as the bed. Nothing impossible. We simply weren't the biggest fans of the pillows. We still had a great time and would love to visit again.

Die zentrale Lage der Wohnung war hervorragend. Wir konnten von der Wohnung aus schnell die wunderschöne Altstadt mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gut erreichen. Auch ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten für das Auto waren in nächster Nähe vorhanden.

Great little place right in the heart of the town clean and homley. everything you need supplied. Great communication with the owner .recommend the coolest apartments .they are really cool we would definitely return thankyou simon

The only thing I missed in this fab apartment was a full length mirror .wouldn't put me off coming back though .

Die Lage ist super, denn man ist direkt im Zentrum. Die Kommunikation mit Simon lief sehr gut. Bäcker, Supermärkte und Restaurants sind alle fußläufig zu erreichen. Fernseher top, Streamingdienste liefen reibungslos.

Die steile Wendeltreppe um in die Wohnung zu kommen ist mit einem Koffer Größe L schon eine echte Herausforderung. Ein bisschen mehr Geschirr wäre schön, dann muss nicht jeden Tag die Spülmaschine laufen. Ein halber Quadratmeter mehr Badezimmer wäre natürlich super. Das ist nix für Menschen mit Platzangst oder einem etwas größeren Körperumpfang. Aber man hat schon das beste aus der Wohnung gemacht. Und wenn nicht mehr Wohnfläche da ist kann man auch keine herzaubern.

Ein wirklich cooles Apartment mitten im Zentrum von Haarlem. Gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen. Schlafzimmer in den Innenhof und somit ruhig. Kleines Bad aber absolut zweckmäßig. Das Wohnzimmer mit einer großzügigen Küche ist der Hammer. Zudem ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Ich kann dieses Apartment nur empfehlen. Besser wohnen in Haarlem ist vermutlich kaum möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Toll ausgestattetes Appartment, ideale Lage!

The appartment is located on wonderfull location. Everything you need is very, very close, restaurants, bars, shops, bakerys, caffeterias....Haarlem is beautifull, and very nice town to stay, and use like a Base for all excursiones. But, you must also feel the spirit of Haarlem which is incredeable. The coolest App.have everything you need. Very clean, very pleasent to stay for days. The kitchen is perfect you got everything you need, The bedroom also, bathroom...What can I say for Simon, exept one big BRAVO! Fantastic gentlman, who have on his mind every time,do you feel comfortable, who explaine you everything you want to know, and more of that. He answer on you call, message wright in the moment. Our hole jorney in Haarlem, and coolest app was fantastic, and we hope...see you soon Simon. Thanks for everything!

Simon was very helpful with short videos showing check in. His communication was excellent, the apartment was clean and modern but best of all was the fabulous location.

We had a wonderful one week stay in this apartment.It is in a great position,close to cafes and restaurants,a supermarket and Haarlem station less than a 10 minute walk away.The apartment is set up with everything you need and is very comfortable.The communication from the hosts,Michelle and Simon,was excellent and they always responded quickly to any queries.We would happily stay here again!

Apartment located in the central part of Haarlem. 5-7 minutes to central station. All main streets are very close by. Simon (host) was very helpful throughout the stay. The apartment was recently renovated and it has every you need for a long stay. I felt very comfortable during my week stay. I would definitely picked it up again for my next trip.

Location was excellent….Simon was very helpful with the few issues that popped up. Would definitely consider staying at the coolest apartment in the future!!

Simon was very kind and clear with his instruction on how to retrieve the key and how to dispose the trash. He had also put into considerations things that is needed like shampoo and bodywash, ingredients for cooking, vaccum cleaner. Which makes a lot of sense as i am a clean freak. Also the kitchen was fully accessorized with cleaning products, pots and pans makes it easier to cook anything. There is also washing detergent for the washer and dishwasher. We had a great time hanging out in the large cosy livingroom. We did cooking almost daily and enjoyed our dinner at home most of the time with the huge dining table. The location was extremely great as it is just a walk to the train station and central. Simon was kind enough to let us stay longer as our flight was not until 10pm. Like Simon would put it, a home away from home.

The sofa could be a little bit firmer, perhaps i am not used to soft sofa. Bathroom is small but all the neccessity is provided.

This is a great place for anyone who wants to live in a beautiful apartment in a quaint town like Haarlem, and at the same time explore Amsterdam and other cities of Netherlands. Amsterdam is just 16 mins train ride away. The apartment itself is located in a very picturesque and historic section of Haarlem with everything in a walking distance. Coming to our apartment, it is quite cute with a spacious living room and big windows. The place was really clean and every amenity was provided. And the best part is, our host Simon was really helpful. He was always there to respond to our every query and help us on every way he can. He made sure that we are comfortable.

Very homely and stylish. Had everything you need and more- dishwasher, oven, washing machine and able to link our Netflix to the TV made it a cut above other apartments we have stayed in. Was lovely!

We found the bed slightly uncomfortable

The host Simon was great and very helpful throughout the stay. Location of the apartment is perfect, right in the center of the city. The apartment has every you need for a longer stay and was very comfortable. The walk up to the apartment is up a narrow spiral staircase and might not accessible to all, but then again Simon is super helpful and helps taking the luggage up.

Wonderful apartment, fully equipped with everything you need, including comfortable sofa, tv and stocked kitchen. Location also brilliant in Haarlem Centre, which is a beautiful town. Facilities are nearby, very convenient as well as good public transport. Host Simon very friendly and helpful.

Bedroom and bathroom rather small but the bed is large and very comfortable.

This was a great apartment that had everything I needed. Each time I thought of something, I just imagined where I would keep it....and there it was. The washer/dryer was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was fantastic with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Also a short walk to the Phil where my conference was. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Haarlem.

Cosy and comfortable apartment in walking distance to nearly everywhere (city center, central station). Also very nice host.

The location of this apartment could not be better. The square was a 5 minute walk. The train station a 10 minute walk. The supermarket was a three minute walk. The living, dining and kitchen area was very generous in size. The washer and dryer were perfect. All the appliances worked great. We especially like the espresso machine. We could stream from our iPad to the smart TV. The shower was excellent and there was lots of hot water. The bathroom was the smallest one I have ever seen. That being said it worked ok but it was a one person at a time scenario. As a result it took a bit longer to get ready to start the day. The bed was comfortable.

We prefer a free standing bed but the bedroom size was too small to allow this. A larger bathroom would improve this unit but that is not really an option.

I loved the spaciousness of the apartment. The decor is modern, clean and inviting, making you feel right at home. The kitchen comes very well equipped, and the washing machine was a huge plus. For women traveling solo, this is a very safe location, in close proximity to all the important sights of Haarlem, as well as to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bus stop (to Schiphol), and train station. You couldn’t have asked for a kinder and more attentive host than Simon. He responded immediately to any questions before, during and after my stay, and was a great communicator.

I can’t find fault with this gem of an apartment. The only thing worth mentioning is that the spiral staircase leading up to the apartment on the first floor is narrow and steep, and not accessible to persons with disabilities.

Location was near all the necessary shops, cafes, bars and very close to a decent supermarket. Felt like home from home, and had everything we could think of you would need in terms of utensils and implements for cooking. Excellent advice on what to do and how to do it in the area and the host was extremely helpful, but not intrusive. Given that it’s a city centre location it was quiet in the evening and early morning. Happy to agree that it is the coolest apartment in Haarlem!

Our stay in Simon's apartment was great. We received instructions via Whatsapp on how to find the apartment and get the key. That went smoothly. The apartment is very centrally located, in the middle of Haarlem, and yet it is quiet in the bedroom. It is all very comfortably furnished and decorated with a lot of love. A LED fireplace and lots of candles add to the coziness. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and waffles - thank you! :-) The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is small but nice and offers everything you need. We liked that many products were in stock, such as soap, toilet paper and also delicious coffee. We had the opportunity to meet Simon briefly, he is super friendly and helpful and gave us some tips for our time in North Holland. Overall, we felt very, very comfortable and welcome.

The hosts are great and very pleasant. Location of the apartment is awesome, right in the center of the city, everything is in a walking distance. Apartment has everything one needs. Great Saturday market just around the corner.

The apartment was lovely. It is located in the heart of Haarlem within a short walking distance of bars and restaurants and the train station. It's a good location to stay if visiting Amsterdam as the train in is quick and fast. It was spotlessly clean and very comfy. The furnishings and facilities were top notch. The decor is very stylish.

There was nothing I did not like. Just to note though: the bathroom is small (as can be seen from the photos) however it has everything you'd need and the shower is great. There are circular stairs going up one flight to the apartment which are narrow and it can be a little tricky with heavy bags but otherwise is OK.

Simon is very nice to help. everything here are very nice , very convenient
