Hosts were very helpful in the lead up to our stay. Very prompt in responding to any questions we had. The location; couldn’t want for more. The setting was stunning, peaceful and quiet. A real get away from it all. The house felt like home rather than a holiday let. Didn’t want to leave!

Everything was great.

Very comfortable, clean, cozy and well equipped cottage (nice kitchen, lots of spices!), pretty view over the lake, some board games. We will certainly choose again when visiting the lofoten again.

Das kleine Haus liegt sehr idyllisch am See. Wir wollten unbedingt mal die Nordlichter selber erleben. Dafür war das Haus perfekt. Die Terrasse liegt Richtung Norden. Wenn man keine Erfahrung hat, kann man aus der Warmen Küche oder dem Wohnzimmer immer mal nach draußen und nachschauen. So konnten wir super Fotos machen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Das Badezimmer ist sehr modern und alles ist sehr gemütlich. Wenn wir noch mal auf die Lofoten kommen, werden wir gerne wieder buchen.

Quel endroit magnifique ! On pourrait passer des heures à contempler la vue depuis la terrasse, et les changements des couleurs de la mer et du ciel, en fonction de la lumière et de la météo. C'est une base idéale pour explorer les Lofoten - à l'écart des principaux axes et sites, mais proche de tout. Les informations fournies par le propriétaire avant et pendant le séjour sont précieuses. Un petit paradis à garder secret.

A very cozy cottage that is clean and peaceful and comfortable.

The house is so cozy and homey. Unfortunately, it was raining on the day when we were there, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace. However, we could stay nicely inside with plenty of kitchenware to make a nice meal. The host also provides hot coco, which was a highlight during our stay. Thank you for having us.

We could hear the car passing by during our sleep at night, but it didn't impact us much.

Charming cottage. We loved its character The expanded porch is fantastic.

It would have been nice to have two extra towels, one large towel per person is not enough for people with long hair. And one towel for the floor in the bathroom would have been great. We would have appreciated an explanation about garbage separation, if any.

House was closeby to midnight sun kayaking. Surrounded by nature - lake outside window and lambs taking evening strolls. Quiet neighborhood. Loved sitting in the comfortable chair by the window. Host provided chocolates, thank you.

Bring bottled water, their tap is from a well. Need to wait for warm water between showers.

Hard to heat the kitchen.

The views are stunning and It is positioned perfectly to visit the Lofoten Islands. Beds were confortable and the heating system was great.

We had some issues with the water, but got better the second day.

Very beautiful and cozy little house in gorgeous surroundings. You are here close to Leknes, Eggum, the Lofotr Vikingmuseum, Unstad, Hov and many other beautiful places. We stepped in and directly felt home. Everything is made with taste and one feels the love that was invested in the place. Stig and Merethe answered very quickly every message. You can't make a better catch in the area. This is THE place to stay at 😍 Highly recommend!
