::Mauritius - Awesome Northern Apartment:: My wife & I stayed over for nine nights at this well appointed modern, clean, uncluttered two bedroom self catering apartment located on the first floor with reserved parking. The open plan fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances, the lounge with SMART TV and dining area with its six seat table are designed with ergonomics in mind leading to a cosy veranda. High ceilings and ample ventilation allays any claustrophobic feeling whilst the many glass paynes allows the flow of natural light to permeate throughout the apartment. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds, one with walk in cupboard, as well as effective AC’s, bedside switches and choice of lighting. Linen and towelling was sufficient. The shower area with loo and basin is unusually spacious with strong water pressure and ample volume hot water. The reliable uncapped Fibre WiFi (90 Mbps Download & 15 Mbps Upload) on 2.5G supported our four devices with ease and zero buffering. This well located quiet precinct has a few vacant plots scattered around and a few buildings with work in progress, overall looking like a very nice middle class development in the making. Spoilt for choice, one can within a few minutes drive, be anywhere in the north, whether it’s a beach for sunrise or sunset or water sports, large or small shopping centre, buffet or a la carte restaurant , health care clinic or hospital facility or main road you’re after, it’s all close by. The cherry on top is the efficient host – Ashley. From booking to check-in, stay over and check-out, Ashley was a pleasure to deal with, being friendly and contactable and replying swiftly to any guidance sought. Thank you Ashley. Ashley, the host, was really lovely and answered and helped with everything from switching on the tv to how a gas cooker works( I have electric back home). Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The apartment is the perfect size for a sole traveller. The main bedroom has a small walk-in wardrobe, which was a delightful surprise, and it contained a folding chair you can take to the beach. It has 2 bedrooms, so I was able to invite my grandchildren to sleep over for the night. But there was no storage if 2 people were staying in that bedroom. It's on the first floor, so a flight of steps to take luggage up. There is parking at the front of the building. The rubbish is collected from there 2x a week on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The apartment has towels, sheets washing machine microwave, oven, and kettle, and cleaning equipment is also provided.. It is close to Mont Choisy but a bus / car ride to restaurants GRS... Chez Popo for shopping, rather than a walk. Great location if you have a car to get to Mont Choisy Mall, Le Croisett, Mahogany, or Super U, and all the local beaches. If I travelled alone to Mauritius in the future, I would stay there again. I really liked it.

It was difficult to find initially as it doesn't show up on Google Maps... only as coordinates. The cookware, i.e. saucepans could be replaced for new ones. It would be good if there was a toaster.

Nicely furnished apartment. Quiet location. Parking right in front of the building with a private parking space. As for the owner, communication with him is excellent – he responds quickly and is very helpful when needed. From our perspective, Mont Choisy was the best beach of all – long enough, no corals, fine sand, clear water, no waves, and perfect even for small children. The nearby grove provides plenty of shade, and there are also snack stands nearby.

The house is located in a residential area, far from all grocery stores, and a 15-minute walk from the nearest beach, Mont Choisy. Therefore, without a car, restocking food supplies is more complicated. The apartment had technical issues during our stay, which affected the condition of the other rooms. Hopefully, the owner will resolve them soon. It would be good to add an AC unit in the kitchen, as it gets quite hot, and we had to run the AC in both bedrooms to cool the air. The kitchen lacks sufficient cookware – the owner kindly purchased two pans, but it would definitely be necessary to add at least two more pots. The beds were too soft for us. It would also be useful to have a vacuum cleaner and a larger trash bin in the apartment.

The Owner came personally to the Apartment , when we reached out for some assistance with the TV. We are still so impressed. The space was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The amenities were thoughtfully provided, making it easy to settle in right away. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing for hassle-free meal preparation, and the living area was cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, it was a great choice for a self-sufficient stay, and I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking comfort and convenience. Also the Bathroom Mirror is So cool with lighting 😍 ✨️

Curtains Or Blinds are needed in the kitchen for Privacy as the windows are quite large.

The apartment is new and in a convenient location for the beaches. The apartment had all the facilities we needed and was nice and clean.

The only problem was the humidity in the apartment, especially in the bathroom.

Very modern and well designed, great that it has washing machine and iron and kitchen etc Easy parking provided Great neighbourhood and location Wardrobe in one bedroom, comfortable bed Host kindly allowed me to check in earlier for free Compared to what the hotels are charging, its a no brainer great value for money

Had to kill 5 cockroaches during my 9 night stay - not a huge deal for me an air con for the living room would be great as it gets hot as only bedrooms have it

The appartment is close to the beach and clean with a full-fitted kitchen. Recommended 👌

THE LOCATION IS GOOD CLOSE TO ALL FACILITIES ,RESTAURANT , BEACH , EASY ACCESS ,EASY PARKING ,CLEAN APARTMENT THE HOST WAS VERY HELPFULL ,,
