Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Rendez vous dans un restaurant fermé , perte de temps 20 min à chercher la maison , Aucun conseil pour le restaurant le soir juste vous pouvez aller en ville , Le matin portail fermé (non verrouillé mais aucune info donnée la veille) 15 coups sur la porte pour que la propriétaire ne sorte , encore du temps de perdu et un peu d'enervement au moment du départ.

It was a Ghost town, there is no Supermarket, coffee shops neither Bakery.. Fortunately I made arrangements with owner Chris about breakfast, otherwise you can starve to death in here. There are couple of shops you can buy crackers, peanuts. One of the so called Restaurant I tried was’t good, hygiene wouldn’t pass Western standarts.

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025Chris und Valerie sind perfekte Gastgeber – herzlich, unkompliziert und immer hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung: makellos sauber, großzügig, top ausgestattet. Küche komplett, alles da. Der Balkon mit Meerblick ist ein echtes Highlight – unser Frühstück dort war der perfekte Start in den Tag. Lage: Auto ist Pflicht. Wir haben uns bewusst für 10 Tage hier entschieden – und es war die richtige Wahl. Auf Mauritius ist nichts wirklich weit, vor allem die vielen Spots im Süden sind schnell erreicht. Authentisches Mauritius statt Hotelburgen, ideal für Individualreisende. Extras: superfreundliche Hunde, die uns täglich begrüßt haben – macht den Aufenthalt persönlicher. Pool sauber und gepflegt (haben wir nicht genutzt, weil die Strände in Le Bouchon und La Cambuse entweder direkt vor der Tür oder zweiter sehr gut sind). Praktisch: Nähe zum Flughafen ist ein Vorteil, trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Fazit: Fantastischer Aufenthalt. Top Gastgeber, starke Unterkunft, ehrliches Mauritius. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen wieder.

Die Lage ist toll, nah am Flughafen und Blue Bay und ein sehr gutes Restaurant ist in 2 min fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen 😊

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025Super tolles Apartment ganz in der Nähe des Flughafens gelegen. Wir haben 2 Tage nach der Ankunft und 2 Tage vor dem Abflug da verbracht und uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter Chris und Valerie sind super nett ganz wie man es sich wünscht.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025Positives: Very neat, clean and comfortable. Modern. Very nice shower. Lovely big kitchen, with all the necessary equipment. Walking distance from the sea. Very satisfied. We had a lovely stay! Negatives: Step in kitchen cd be dangerous, as its not clearly visible. Couldn't find place on WAZES. Found it by accident. 40 Steps up to the accommodation. Difficult to carry a heavy suitcase up and down. Could found only 1 restaurant close to La Caz. Walking distance. Turned out to hv very nice food, even if it look a bit strange. (Viking Resto). No swimming beach close by.

Spacious Apartment, fully equipped kitchen, 3 (!) balconies, ocean view and palmtrees around, TV+Netflix in case of tropical storms, 5min walk to the beach in case of sun, nice owner with good contacts to the great local restaurant Viking
A small table on one balcony would be great.

Reviewed May 15, 2024The host met us and showed us around, he even drove us to get groceries. We appreciated the peace and quiet offered by the venue. Very spacious, clean and with excellent sea views. We were able to carry on with some work-related virtual meetings due to stable Wi-Fi. The cherry on top was the offer to drive us to our next destination when our stay ended, and we joined our company for a conference up North of the Island

Reviewed Jan 17, 2024The apartment we stayed in was absolutely wonderful, the size of the room and kitchen was beyond my expectations. Normally we struggle with the comfort of the bed since my partner is quite tall but, really we had zero problems we slept perfectly. Lots of facilities to use in the kitchen if you are someone who prefers to cook from time to time and not eat out daily. Lastly the host Chris, he is a really really lovely person, very attentive and easy to speak to. All in all 10/10. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to visit Mauritius! Thank you again Chris will be back soon!
