My mistake, but it was not close the main activities of the town. There isn't really space for 4 people in the lounge/dining area to have dinner. Missed an outdoor patio.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Michelle is an amazing hostess, doesnt hound you every day, but makes herself available for all your requests and needs. Very comfortable,very clean, everything you need as it feels like home away from home.
I would even consider paying R200 a day more, if there was an airconditioner in the unit. There are 2 standing fans which make no mistake helped, but the extreme heat becomes a problem.

It was extremely hot in the apartment. I expected a bath in one of the bathrooms. The showers were fabulous, though.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025Location was great, flat has a comfortable lay out with necessary self catering amenities and very practical having the 2 bathrooms. The couch in the lounge was very comfy whilst having some downtime between the hockey matches.
Could have had a change of bath towels and shower mats - 5 days is a long time for the same towel to be used 2 times per day and specially when there was no way of drying them out as it was cold and raining. The Netflix was not working and we could not get back on after asking for the code to put in - used our personal Netflix eventually.

Reviewed May 14, 2025This unit was stocked with everything you might need or might have forgotten. It was clean, comfortable and walking distance to a shopping mall with restaurants. It was the ideal place to stay, it felt like home.
The road is a bit noisy during the day but after 17:00 it was very quiet.

The bathrooms were a little run down, a new bit of grout would make a big difference, however it did the job you need for bathrooms.

The property desperately needs Air Conditioning especially in mid summer. The fans and cooler provided did not give you relief from the heat and made sleeping difficult. Sadly there were lots of cockroaches in the property. I know we are in Africa but we have not experienced these at any of of numerous stays in South Africa over the years. For these reasons we checked out after 3 days of our planned 7 day stay

Reviewed Jul 28, 2024The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern and spacious with large rooms and original wooden floors. Lovely little decor touches. It has everything you could need from a gas heater to an iron, Dstv, tea and coffee, body wash, hairdryer and other toiletries. And the host was wonderful, thank you Michelle! We would highly recommend this apartment.
The only thing is that there is only off-street parking for one car comfortably, or two small cars in a tight squeeze (which we managed to do). Not a massive issue at all - just something to be aware of.
