Lake views in great area

Great location, nice view and had everything we needed.

Appeared to be dirty washing in cupboard in bedroom (I was looking for another blanket)

Very clean and cozy unit. Loved that my elderly father could have room with own ensuite bathroom and another bathroom for myself and my husband. Also excellent views of snowy mountains.

Good location, good veiws, warm and cozy.

Mattress could do with a topper. But all other aspects of the bed were great. Linen was nice and warm, plenty of pillows.

Spacious

The homestay was comfortable overall, but several improvements are needed. The second bedroom and shared bathroom had no heater, while the en-suite bathroom heater was very noisy. Shampoo was not provided, and some pillows had an unpleasant odor. Communication was also difficult as the host was not very responsive.

The location was perfect with lake views, and the property was super clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful property and a view to die for, just loved it. The property is a short drive from town but this had its bonuses given it was school holidays while we were there and very busy it was great to be away from the crowds. Decor - lovely, facilities in property - great.

Maybe a small wine - the bbq was very dirty and unable to be used, didn’t affect our stay as the kitchen is well appointed.

Comfortable, attractive, roomy, lovely view and great facilities for self catering. Loved sitting on the back deck to enjoy the sunset and view.

Not an issue for us but you do need a car as it is a 7 or so minute drive out of town. We used this as a great opportunity to get takeaway and then sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and facilities.

Everything, location and view are perfect, decorations are stunning.

Nice location with an A+++ view. Clean and comfortable, and very convenient to reach both the water park and the city center. Great communication with the host as well.

It was a little bit cold as it’s an older property, but it may just be a personal preference. It was a very cold night when we stayed.

Nothing to complain about, the perfect stay!

Loved the house and its view over the lake - it was in a very central area for where we were working. Nice interior and the two bathrooms and two bedrooms worked well for us. Showers were great very hot and strong and the heat pump worked well (we had a freezing morning on one day).

As i told Alex - we slept well but the beds will need refreshing in due course, and maybe a few tissue boxes around would be great!!! The free wifi was good - but occasionally glitched - but I've found that in other areas of Taupo we have stayed in too. oh a little garbage bin in the second bathroom would be great too!!

This place is great! Very comfortable with a lovely view of the lake. It was clean and tidy with modern facilities and very close to the main strip of shops. Alex is ready to communicate with. Only a positive experience. Will definitely return if I get the chance to go back to Taupo.

Kitchen cupboards open so high that a smaller person can’t close them, washer drier could do with an instruction manual - minor problems but did not distract from our enjoyment

Streaming of apps on TV was poor. Apple TV was dreadful and TVNZ stalled often but Netflix OK. Wifi issue? Having a kitchen cloth would have been good too. Ended up using a flannel to wipe bench tops down.

Spacious cozy place that seems relatively new. Comfortable and clean. Washer dryer was useful as well

Only one aircon in the whole apartment. Bedrooms only have windows and no fans. Can be a little stuffy without ventilation. Would be good if there are blinds near the kitchen window for privacy

Windows did not shut close, no corkscrew, more linen would have been nice.

The place was great overall, but the highlights were the cleanliness and amenities. We found everything we needed to spend the night.

Maybe the price, but it was holiday season, so it did make sense if you consider it...
