Sehr stylisches Guesthouse in atemberaubender Lage mit Blick auf die Houtbay. 20 min Fußweg zur einsamen Sandy Bay. Die Sonnenuntergänge dort sind der Hammer. Martina und Klaus sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die viele Tips für uns parat hatten. Zu meinem Geburtstag wurden wir mit leckerem Cheesecake und Sekt überrascht!

Wunderbares Guest House in den hills bzw auf dem Hill über Hout Bay direkt an einer Düne über dem Meer! Sehr ruhig und sicher sowie stylisch u stilvoll eingerichtet. Sympathischer Empfang durch Martina und Klaus mit einem Upgrade auf ein noch größeres Zimmer. Frühstück war sehr gut und familiär an einer großen Tafel mit allem was ein gesundes und reichhaltiges Frühstück beinhaltet. Das Guest House ist sehr modern aber auch gemütlich bzw stilvoll mit künstlerischen Highlights eingerichtet und eine grandiose Poolarea runden die 10 Sterne Bewertung ab! Martina u Klaus standen mit Rat u Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung und trugen mit entspannten Gesprächen am Morgen an der Frühstückstafel für eine familiäre Atmosphäre bei. Alles in allem wenn Hout Bay dann im Vyn Guesthouse!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht. Alles ist sehr liebevoll und mit viel Stil eingerichtet. Martina und Klaus sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die uns viele Tipps gegeben haben. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls top. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

From time to time you come across a place in your travels that exceeds your expectation on all fronts and leaves lasting memories. The Vyn Guest house provides more than 5 star hospitality, they are an exceptionally curated luxury guest house. The House itself is tastefully designed and situated on the picturesque hills of hout bay overlooking the ocean and hidden amongst the hills. The house could easily be featured on the architectural digest and I commend the couple for such a beautiful house. Beyond this, Martina and Klaus’s hospitality remains unmatched - providing warmth and professionalism - that leaves one feeling that you are part of their greater family. The house is exceptionally clean, offers a tasteful and diverse in-house breakfast, and the staff is very warm and professional. I would highly recommend this house - and I look forward to coming back to experience the beauty of CapeTown😃🍾🥂

Everything is perfect

Es war der Hammer: tolle Gastgeber, sehr stylisches und geschmackvolles Ambiente, sehr gute Lage um Kapstadt, das Kap der guten Hoffnung und auch die Winelands zu erobern. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Super Tips von Claus und Martina, tolle Abende auch mit den anderen Gästen und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück am grossen Tich. Wir waren schon oft in ähnlichen Unterkünften, aber so überzeugt wie hier waren wir noch nie. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Liebe Martina, Lieber Klaus, wie schon gesagt, es war wie zuhause ankommen bei euch. Vielen vielen Dank, für die schönen Tage bei euch und das Mega leckere Frühstück am großen Tisch mit allen Gästen und euch.

Der Wind an 2 Tagen, aber für den könnt Ihr ja nichts 🤣🤣, es gibt nichts, alles war perfekt.

Das Vyn Guest House ist ein wahres Meisterwerk an Stil und Atmosphäre. Die geschmackvolle, bis ins kleinste Detail durchdachte Einrichtung wirkt wie aus einem hochwertigen Interior‑Magazin – modern, harmonisch und einfach wunderschön. Man spürt sofort, wie viel Liebe und Feingefühl hier eingeflossen sind. Die Lage könnte kaum besser sein: Hoch über Hout Bay, mit einer Aussicht, die einen jeden Morgen aufs Neue sprachlos macht. Ob beim ersten Kaffee oder beim entspannten Ausklingen des Tages – dieser Blick bleibt unvergesslich. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Frühstück. Mit so viel Liebe zubereitet und in einer Atmosphäre, die man am liebsten in Flaschen abfüllen würde. Die interessanten und lustigen Gespräche und die entspannte Stimmung machten es schwer, überhaupt vom Frühstückstisch aufzustehen. Klaus und Martina und ihr gesamtes Team sind außergewöhnlich herzlich, aufmerksam und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Mit wertvollen Ausflugstipps, Empfehlungen und echter Gastfreundschaft standen sie uns jederzeit zur Seite. Man fühlt sich nicht nur willkommen, sondern wirklich umsorgt. Für uns war das Vyn Guest House der perfekte Abschluss einer wunderschönen Südafrika‑Reise – ein Ort, an den man sich noch lange erinnert und an den man unbedingt zurückkehren möchte. Ich kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Dieses Guest House ist ein absoluter Traum und eine der schönsten, durchdachtesten Unterkünfte, die ich weltweit je gesehen habe. Dazu kommt, dass Martina & Klaus von tiefem Herzen Gastgeber sind. Das spürt, sieht und bemerkt man den ganzen Tag. Man fühlt sich mindestens so wohl wie zuhause und wird perfekt betreut. Das Haus ist abgesehen davon wirklich nach allerhöchstem Standard gebaut mit einer atemberaubenden, extrem geschmackvollen Inneneinrichtung. Wir haben uns so gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie nirgends in Südafrika und ich kann jedem tatsächlich von Herzen nur empfehlen dieses Guest House zu buchen. Wir wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben.

Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet, genauso wie das ganze Haus eingerichtet ist. Man merkt überall die Liebe zum Detail. Die Gastgeber haben sich während unserem Aufenthalt immer Zeit für uns genommen, uns tolle Ideen und Ausflugstipps gegeben und waren immer da, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat. Genau diese Herzlichkeit macht den Aufenthalt so besonders. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und immer wieder weiterempfehlen!

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit tollen, herzlichen Gastgebern. Toll eingerichtet mit Stil und Kunst. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Einfach sorgenfrei die Seele baumeln lassen. Sehr gern wieder. Top Empfehlung.

Es war traumhaft schön, top modern, sehr schön eingerichtet, die beiden Besitzer Martina, Klaus und ihr Team super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ganz fantastische Tage im Vyn Guesthouse, das Frühstuck war auch richtig toll und alles sehr liebevoll!

Wunderschöne topmoderne Unterkunft in perfekter Lage! Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und es fehlt an nichts. Das Frühstück ist phantastisch und die Weinauswahl auch spitze. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ! Das Vyn guesthouse ist wirklich besonders !

Das Haus und die Zimmer sind soooooo schön und stylisch,die Betten sehr bequem, die Aussicht der Hammer.Martina legt soviel Liebe beim Frühstück mit auf den Teller es ist einfach köstlich und ein Genuss für das Auge. Martina und Klaus sind einfach super. Schade das wir nicht länger geblieben sind.

Möchte man sich wie im Paradies fühlen? Dann unbedingt dieses Guest House buchen, in die einzigartige Welt eintauchen und geniessen! Wir können kaum in Worte fassen, wie unglaublich gut uns dieser Aufenthalt gefallen hat. Die Lage ist wie aus dem Bilderbuch, das Haus sehr stilvoll designt und eingerichtet, eine atemberaubende Aussicht aus den Zimmern, das Frühstück jeden einzelnen Tag ein Genuss und die GASTGEBER wie man sie sich nur wünschen kann. Herzlich, hilfsbereit, gute Gespräche und Tipps - einfach nur WOW. Wir haben uns sooo gut aufgehoben gefühlt und der Abschied fiel uns unglaublich schwer. High end facilities with tasteful furnishing and attention to detail for excellence. Personalised service and effort to accommodate us was great as well, making the stay really amazing. Closeness to the Sandy Bay natural beach was a big plus!

Some more convenient options for lunch and dinner at the house would have been nice.

Heartwarming welcome from Portia and Cindy. We felt almost at home. This tells a lot as this is something that hardly happens when we are travelling. Everything was perfect, but Portia and Cindy raised the bar even higher.

Does not have a toilet water spray even though it’s not a popular thing in countries outside the middle east I would love to see more places implementing it. Although food was very good but as a muslim I would have loved if the meat come from a halal source. (Its down the verge of nit picking since the stay was so good)

Our stay at Vyn Guest House was a truly unforgettable experience! Martina and Klaus are exceptional hosts and have built the most beautiful guest house and worry-free experience. The guest house is state-of-the-art, with every comfort you could imagine - modern luxury. The views from our room over Hout Bay were breathtaking. The breakfast is fantastic: great choice of al-a-carte options, all fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Excellent coffee (thank you, Klaus!). Fantastic breakfast bar with bread, jams, fruit, yoghurt and granola. 10/10 breakfast! Every detail has been considered and cared for at Vyn Guest House: from the architecture and layout, modern-day conveniences like the luggage lift and facial recognition system, to the communal breakfast table to meet other guests, and the accommodating hosts, Martina and Klaus. Our stay at Vyn Guest House was so enjoyable and relaxing; we hope to return soon.

Our stay exceeded expectations with modern amenities, breathtaking views, and a charming area. Martina and Klaus, extraordinary hosts, made us feel truly welcome, even treating us to homemade delights. Highly recommend, and the breakfast was a culinary delight, reminiscent of a fine dining experience.

Beautiful property and hosts. Rooms were spotless, the interior design of the whole guest house was fantastic and the hosts and their staff were warm and welcoming. Coffee was outstanding. Martina and Claus also gave us a great recommendation for a stunning hike on table mountain as well. They made sure when we returned in the evening we were safe and sound. Had a nice afternoon walk down to Sandy Bay beach and a workout coming back up the sand dunes. Worth the hike back up from the beach!

The fact that we only had two nights and didn’t have more time to enjoy the pool.

Martina was excellent she really looked after us and the room was stunning with great facilities

The only thing was the communal dining table for breakfast, we would have preferred a bit more privacy but the food and service was amazing.

This location is top! The guest house is beautifully decorated and every detail is thought of. Martina is a very kind host who has lots of tips and helps you where she can. The view from the rooms is breathtaking! The beds are perfect as is the breakfast.
