The Art Barn

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Art Barn. It was clean, private and everything I wished for. The hosts was extremely welcoming, and made my stay extra special.

Wonderful hosts and a lovely private apartment overlooking adjacent farmland. Being woken by the birds and partridges, who are obviously regular and pampered guests, was an unexpected bonus. Although somewhat out of town this is not necessarily a negative in a busy coastal town.

We loved the large unenclosed area where wildlife still roams free,we enjoyed watching the animals and at early evening the knight sounds,but it quickly came to end when next door neighbor switch on his TV.

Quite unpleasant during evenings when extreme noise from the neighboring house,there TV room are next to the accommodation and it was so loud outside we had to retreat indoors.

The entrance door would be improved by an awning over it for when it rains.

Friendly but inobtrusive hosts. Spotlessly clean. Well appointed. A small , tame antelope appeared in the unit's garden, how special was that!

Everything was clean and very well stocked. Surrounding area was very quiet and close to town. Owners are very friendly and nice.

Met by very friendly owner who gave us lots of advice and ideas about the area. Comfortable accommodation with view onto garden and fields. Quiet neighbourhood.

The hostess and her husband was very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was fabulous and the place is very clean and comfortable. Thank you for all the extra treats and luxuries.

Beautiful scenery clean tidy and great hosts. I cannot fault anything!! Very kind people Mandy even got a gas heater to make me feel warm in the lounge area. This was a lovely private tranquil apartment n I will highly recommend it. Close to the town too. Spotless and there were lovely rusks and all too go with it. They think of it all. Well done Mandy n Garth.

Amanda and Garth were very welcoming hosts and the apartment is well located ie bordering on a field and close to the shops. Nice and spacious.

For a longer stay, one would need an induction plate or similar for light breakfasts etc.

Amanda und Garth sind wundervolle Gastgeber, die uns mit segt viel Herzlichkeit aufgenommen haben. Die kleine Ferienwohnung ist neu, tiptop eingerichtet und hat alles wan braucht um sich wohlzufühlen. Es gab Tee, Kaffee, Kakt gestelktes Wasser, selbst eine 5 l Flasche Wasser wurde uns bereitgestellt. Von der Veranda schaut man auf einen Baum wo sich wunderschöne Vögel tummeln, mit etwas Glück sieht man auch Schildkröten. Alles in allem haben wir uns mega wohlgefühlt und werden im komnenden Jahr nochmal hier vorbei schauen.

Awesome location, tranquil and refreshing. Absolutely safe and quiet, surrounded by the beauty of nature with different bird species visiting the water bottles on the doorstep. We appreciated the attention to detail of our hosts in the welcome, the little goodies, the decor of the apartment and the wonderful interaction. Shops and restaurants are a stone throw away and beautiful beaches to spend time getting some time for R & R. Definitely will book again when visiting the area again.

Amanda and Garth were exceptional hosts. The unit was furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay and Amanda's beautiful painting elegantly completed the picture. Garth even offered to take us on a sightseeing tour which made us familiar with the surroundings and the goto places. Thanks Amanda and Garth for going beyond and a obove good hosting 😀 .

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann The Art Barn jedem empfehlen der eine ruhige Nacht haben möchte. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer, bzw. die kleine Wohnung ist mit viel liebe eingerichtet. Die lage und der Ort sind toll für einen Zwischenstop.

I liked everything about it. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows (important) , generous re tea, rusks, etc. Friendly hosts.

What a lovely spot for an overnight stay- everything we needed to be comfortable and it was really affordable. Lovely view onto a field with abundant birdlife. Perfect little kitchenette with a microwave and airfryer to prep a meal if needed. We enjoyed our stay and Amanda,the hostess,was really accomodating.

The apartment is amazing! Incredible setting on a field. The sunset was unbelievable. Fantastic spot for birdwatching. Amanda and Garth are lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming. A lot of thoughtful extras like rusks, chocolates, and electric blankets. Please don’t look any further! Book here!

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation has a seating area and little kitchen nook with a separate room and bathroom. The entire apartment is new and modern and filled with art, as done by one of the owners, really beautiful. Access is at the back and private. The area is peaceful and relaxing.

The host was so lovely and accommodating(we had our booking dates wrong, and she went out of her way to assist us and get the unit ready for check in a day earlier then our original booking) Beautiful artwork and special detail in the unit, comfortable and relaxing stay. Loved the view and birdlife. Can wholeheartedly recommend this spotless and clean accommodation.

We stayed at The Art Barn for two nights, , and from the moment we've arrived, we were satisfied with the level of service. The host was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The room was spotless, with elegant decor and beautiful art work. The attention to detail was evident in everything, Overall, it was a flawless experience. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable escape or overnight stay.

Being asked to complete and sign an indemnity form. Knocking on windows and banging noises during the night. Receiving a message the next day about bloodstains on the bedding and towels, a sermon about personal hygiene and a threat about having been reported for these "crimes"
