Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Leider hatten wir auf unserer Anreise etwa 200m vor der Unterkunft eine Reifenpanne. Der persönliche Empfang mit Scone und Getränken sowie die freundliche Hilfe der beiden Inhaber Pearl und Wilson waren überwältigend und retteten uns den Tag. Beim Telefonieren, Gepäcktransport oder Transfer zum Reifenservice wären wir ohne ihre freundliche Unterstützung verloren gewesen. Das Farmhaus liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit weitem Blick in die irische Landschaft. Ein Pavillon im terassenförmig angelegter Garten lädt zum Verweilen und Genießen ein. Die in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft lebenden Kühe und Hühner sorgen für gesunde Produkte auf dem Frühstückstisch. Das leckere Frühstück umfasste eine großzügige Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Irischen Spezialitäten, Früchten und anderer Leckereien. Kostenfreies WiFi und Parken gehören ebenso zum Service. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und wünschen Pearl und Wilson noch viele nette Gäste.

The plentiful breakfast included home-made bread and scones along with hot and cold options, all provided at our requested time. The room was great with a very comfortable firm bed and walk-in shower. Everything you need for a short stay.

The room was spacious and had all that we needed. Our breakfast was also super, the homemade jams were a bonus!

Reviewed May 20, 2023The views from the property were amazing. We particularly enjoyed watching the cows relaxing in the next field. Pearl was very welcoming providing all the comforts of home. The room and en suite were spacious, light and airy and very comfortable enabling a really good sleep. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the tennis court, crazy golf and games room. We had some fun there. Breakfast was very tasty with homemade bread and scones.

Our room was newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. use of a guest sitting room .Access to the farmyard. We could see hens in their pen, sheep and cattle in the field. The gardens are superbly landscaped. Lovely country scenery.

The housekeeping shows care in every detail, everything is very beautiful, organized and clean. The Breakfast is a separate show, with homemade breads and jams made by the lady of the house, as well as typical Irish breakfast options and of course with eggs directly from the farm.

Weary of being parked in hotels and pubs and listening to noise / traffic / air conditioning units / staff shouting at night and tight airless rooms despite paying over £ 150 per night at other locations - this was without doubt the best sleep on a two week road trip and 10 other locations. Moreover we had time to talk to the couple running this location and have a smile and a laugh about everything. and they in turn were happy to take a moment or two and pass some time in conversation which was absent elsewhere. Good parking space and ideal for small groups or couples - ideal and felt safe with my expensive motorcycle parked outside
The narrow tarmac drive takes faith at night but there is a sign from the main road and the farm can be seen as its position is elevate d and easy to see
