Kasbah d'Eau

We loved our stay at the kasbah so much. Sidi kaoki is a really unique place and the hotel itself is gorgeous especially the infinity pool overlooking the beach. The staff were so lovely and went above and beyond to help, particularly the front of house Hafid who sorted e bikes for us, recommended local spots and sorted a taxi for our departure.

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel, bien au-delà de nos attentes ! Tout était plus que parfait du début à la fin. Le cadre est magnifique, le calme est au rendez-vous, la chambre était impeccable et l’accueil a été tout simplement exceptionnel. On s’est immédiatement sentis bien, comme à la maison. Mais je tiens surtout à faire une mention toute particulière à Amal et Salah. ❤️ Ces deux personnes ont été bien plus que des hôtes : ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous à chaque instant, toujours disponibles, attentionnés, souriants et d’une gentillesse incroyable. Ils nous ont accueillis et se sont occupés de nous comme si nous faisions partie de leur propre famille. C’est exactement ce genre de rencontres qui rend un voyage vraiment inoubliable. On sent énormément de cœur, de générosité et de sincérité dans leur façon de recevoir les gens. Ils ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour exceptionnel et nous leur en sommes vraiment reconnaissants. Un immense merci à Amal, Salah et à tout le reste de l’équipe pour tout ! ❤️ Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et surtout avec l’envie de revenir. Simply the best place to stay in Morroco! The moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. Professional check in and staff were all great. The room with sea view was simply beautiful, with amazing sea views. The pool was cool, clean and gorgeous. Restaurant food was delicious and well worth it. The sea is very clean, shame about beach rubbish. Overall exceptional stay.

La piscine incroyable avec la vue sur l’océan. La chambre très confortable et spacieuse avec vue sur l’océan. Une salle de jeux, de repos et un énorme salon. Personnel à l’écoute, chaleureux, accueillant et dans le soucis du détails et surtout toujours disponible pour aider. Les petits déjeuners incroyablement bon, et le restaurant également.

Struttura stupenda, curata nei dettagli sia estetici che per funzionalità. Cibo e bevande sono eccellenti (servono anche un ottimo caffè espresso all'italiana). Personale professionale e gentilissimo. Posizione meravigliosa davanti all'oceano con possibilità di vivere agevolmente la spiaggia anche a cavallo.

J’ai lu que le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel mais pas du tout . Le seul bémol . Pain - confiture -miel - beurre . Yahourt nature - vache kiri - œuf et salade de fruits . Pas de rideaux opaque dans la suite donc le réveil est systématique à l aube . La douche est où très chaude ou très froide .

The location was super convenient, just in front of the beach. That said, the pool are is so lovely that we didn't spend much time on the beach. Breakfast was good. Our room (a sea suite) was spacious with a huge bathroom and a comfortable terrace. And they serve Estrella Galicia!

The restaurant options are correct, but the menu could be improved both in terms of variety and quality.

Magnifique hôtel. Décoré avec goût. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et très attentif. Bravo également en cuisine. Magnifique terrasse donnant sur la mer dans notre chambre (master suite). La piscine abritée et chauffée est un vrai plus.

Kasbah d’Eau is truly a hidden paradise and without any doubt my absolute favorite hotel in Essaouira. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for by the most wonderful team imaginable. The hospitality here is simply exceptional — the staff goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special, and no wish is left unfulfilled. One of the most touching moments was when they even prepared extra couscous for us on Friday, just to make our experience even more authentic and memorable. This level of kindness and attention is something very rare. The rooms offer breathtaking views directly over the ocean, creating the most peaceful and magical atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of the sea and watching the sun melt into the horizon every evening was unforgettable. The sunsets at Kasbah d’Eau are honestly among the most beautiful and breathtaking I have ever seen in my life. Everything about this place feels special — the warmth of the people, the beauty of the surroundings, and the feeling of complete relaxation and happiness throughout the entire stay. I cannot recommend Kasbah d’Eau highly enough. It is a truly magical place that made our time in Essaouira unforgettable, and I already dream of returning.

Die Unterkunft ist unglaublich sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind extrem groß und schön. Das Spa Angebot ist sehr gut und erschwinglich.

Die Unterkunft kann nichts dafür, allerdings gibt es extrem viele Insekten und der Weg zum Strand ist (aktuell) sehr unkomfortabel. Da man durch Schutt, Schotter und Müll hindurch muss.

Kasbah d’Eau was one of the most remarkable places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived (late at night and quite cold) when we were invited to sit by the fire and have a drink, to the moment we left, the staff could not have been more charming or helpful. Our room overlooking the Sidi Kaouki beach was spacious and comfortable, and having breakfast or seeing the sunset from the balcony was breathtaking. Honestly we loved our stay!

Honestly, everything—but what truly made our stay unforgettable was Amal. She is absolutely incredible! From before we even arrived, she was already helping us with everything—taxis, tips, and even some personal things. She made everything so easy and stress-free. You can really tell she genuinely cares, and hospitality just comes naturally to her. Easily the best host we’ve ever had anywhere. The place itself looks exactly like in the pictures—if not even better. Beautiful design, lovely rooms, and an amazing sea view. Everything feels calm and thoughtfully done. Also, a big shoutout to the entire staff—the cleaners, the waiters—everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

At first, we weren’t sure what we’d do for a whole week in Sidi Kaouki, but that feeling quickly disappeared. The place has such a unique charm—camels, horses, and donkeys everywhere, super friendly locals, and the perfect vibe to just slow down and relax.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful beachfront hotel in Morocco. The pool and terrace overlooking the sea were stunning, and the hotel itself felt bright and airy. Our room was spacious with a gorgeous sea view. As it’s still quite new, there are a few small things being refined, particularly with the restaurant, but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout. A special thank you to Amal, who was a wonderful hostess. We would definitely recommend and would happily return

Such a beautiful hotel, with great service. Loved our room, the common areas, and especially the pool area with the best views of the beach and the occasional surfers, camels, donkeys and horses. Great for sunsets! Nice hammam experience too.

Nothing that I can think of. The village of Sidi Kauoki is very small, but there is Essaouira close by for more restaurants, shops etc.

Mooi hotel, rustig gelegen aan het strand. Ruime mooie kamers en ideaal om even een paar dagen te ontspannen. Lekkere keuken en gezellig restaurant.

Er speelt constant dezelfde muziek. Zachte covers, maar eenzelfde bandje die om het uur opnieuw begint. Wanneer men een aantal dagen in het hotel verblijft, begint dit wel vervelend te worden! De muziek speelt zowel in het restaurant als in de lounge en rustruimtes. Het mooie zwembad is jammergenoeg niet verwarmd en daar er steeds veel wind is, kan men er meestal niet zwemmen daar het water te koud is. In de douches op de kamer is er later op de avond geen warm water... Deze paar puntjes van kritiek kunnen hopelijk bijdragen om het verblijf in de toekomst aangenamer te maken.

Kasbah D’eau was a fabulous place to spend some much needed relaxation time. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous architecture and beautiful design features. The infinity pool overlooking the beach and ocean is a view to behold. The daily breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beach was fantastic. Eggs, yogurts, fruits, cheeses, breads all served by friendly and attentive staff who treat you like friends by the end of your visit. The staff members need a very special mention as they are brilliant. Amal ensures that everything is as required, even organising activities and transfers. The bar and wait staff, the cleaners and maintenance staff are all so smiley and friendly too. Nothing was too much trouble.

The only slight issue was it would have been good to have had more variety in the menu.

Beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas with thoughtful design touches. Breathtaking views of the beach and rolling waves. Nice pool area for sunbathing. Balconies to the sea-view rooms were perfect for watching the sun set.

Nice and friendly staff but at times not very attentive or proactive, except for Amal who was fantastic. Breakfast was a little disappointing for such a beautiful and upmarket hotel. The gym was ok but a little poorly equipped.

The setting is cinematic: sunsets over the horizon, animals grazing in the distance, and the sound of the sea creating a real sense of escape. The property is immaculate and beautifully designed. Modern artwork and installations give the hotel a stylish, contemporary feel while subtle Moroccan touches keep the character authentic. The pool area is pristine and inviting, and there are thoughtful communal spaces including a library and a pool table. The hotel rents e-bikes, which we used to explore the area; bring helmets if you want to ride safely because these are not provided. There is on-site parking, which is ideal for guests arriving by car. The surrounding area is still being developed, so don't expect many nearby shops or attractions — it worked as a peaceful retreat for us, but worth considering when planning a longer trip. We were welcomed with peppermint tea and cake on arrival, which felt warm and helpful after our three-hour drive. The restaurant serves simple, tasty dishes; breakfast was especially lush. Dinner is basic but satisfying. Service in the restaurant can be slow, though the relaxed pace of the place made this a non-issue for us. Overall hotel service was exceptional — the staff were kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. Kasbah d'Eu is a stunning coastal hideaway with gorgeous sea views, thoughtful design, spotless rooms, and truly hospitable staff. It's perfect for a restful getaway if you value location and atmosphere over immediate local nightlife or shopping. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a tranquil seaside break.

It didn't matter to us due to the shorter duration of our stay but I think the menu choices may be a bit limiting for longer stays. Food was still wonderful though.

The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Eggs any way you want them cooked. I recommend the Berber eggs. Coffee, orange juice, Moroccan breads, Jams, honey. Fruit cups and Greek yougurt. Dinner's are delicious fresh fish, pasta, chicken or turkey. The wine, beer and mixed drinks are a great selection. The spa services are the best - hamman, pedicure, manicure and messages to name a few.

There were no issues. From check in to check out all was great.

Forse l'insonorizzazione delle camere, ma è un parere molto personale. Maybe the soundproofing of the rooms, but that's a very personal opinion.

It’s very clean, and calm. Easily accessible and the access to the beach is straightforward. The service and staff were great.

The hotel was beautiful. It felt spacious, cool and calm even though the weather was very hot. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pool was large and clean, and the pool table room was a great touch. Breakfasts were lovely - fresh and tasty.

Maybe change the menu so there are different options for lunch and on different evenings?

Beautiful property with gorgeous arts and crafts everywhere, down to the rugs and floor tiles in my room. Amazing views, especially sunsets. Lovely pool and lounge and restaurant. Delicious food. Great wine. But the thing that made my stay special was the wonderful staff who were so professional, hard working and friendly. Especially Amal, who looked after me so well. Thank you.

Well, it wasn't cheap and there's nothing much to do, but I went for the purpose of chilling so I'm not complaining.

Everything was perfect! The view on the sea was stunning, the room was very large and clean, and well equipped. The staff is really helpful, always keen to provide help and always trying to improve your stay. The hotel is gorgeous and well cared for. There are even some games you can play for free like pool or chests which we really enjoyed. The pool is absolutely stunning and the view on the sea wonderful. You can see the horses and camel walk past as you're relaxing in this little oasis. We really loved Sidi Kaouki as it is one of those places that is charming yet not too touristic, perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet. The restaurant is absolutely delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinners) and they serve a large range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The prices of the restaurant are also really good, in line with other places yet with much better food (we went to the Mouette and Dromadaires but we thought the quality was a lot worse than at Kasbah D'Eau and the prices were higher). If you are hesitating, go there with your eyes closed! We cannot wait to be back and really want to thank all the staff again for making our holidays a truly memorable time.

Pillows in the room are not the most comfortable. Everything else was absolutely PERFECT.
