No restaurant. To in room poor reception. Mould around window in bedroom.

Great location at the end of the peninsular by the sea and opposite the end of the greenway. Warm and welcoming pub below the rooms. Really good recommendations for eateries in nearby places. I got oysters and chowder at the Oyster Pot which was perfect (although, as other reviewers have said, rather noisy!)

Breakfast was basic - it was fine for me as I don’t have a big appetite in the morning but it might be quite small for other used to a large full Irish.

We weren't pleased that the kitchen was closed that night and we could not have an evening meal. The proprietortold us to go to a cafe up the road but by the time we got there just after 5 they had stopped serving. We didn't eat that night. Next time the kitchen is closed maybe they should tell people then they can look for alternative accommodation.

In a lovely little town the perfect one night stay area for the route we planned. the staff were very friendly and engaging

The bed was a bit small and not that comfortable. Pillows were pretty flat. Shower needed a bit better cleaning

Location , old fashioned nautical vibe .

The bar was pretty empty for a Saturday night (weather was bad) but no music, live or on speaker . No food available ( a toasted sandwich would have hit the spot) . The breakfast was ok and the dining room was totally silent , again some easy listening music would have created a more relaxed setting . We like an old school b&b, never after anything fancy (this was our second visit here) but thought some basic stuff missing as mentioned above might have added something to the holiday experience . I like so called ‘dated ‘ places for their nostalgic value alone, but this felt a little tired . I hate giving average reviews as hospitality is a hard business to be in, and I’m sure there’s a reason for the music etc, but some things could have be easily improved to create an overall better atmosphere .

I couldn't open the windows because there were garbage bins under the windows, the smell was terrible (the windows of my room overlooked the inner courtyard). The drain in the shower didn't work well.

Schöne Unterkunft. Eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage direkt in der Nähe vom Strand ist toll und war die Fahrt dorthin absolut wert. Mitarbeiter war alle sehr freundlich und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Die Bar im eigenes Haus ist toll. Leider gab es keine Live Musik an dem abend.

Das Restaurant hat geschlossen, daher ist ein Abendessen vor Ort nicht möglich. Andere Möglichkeiten für ein abendessen sind bei später Anreise nicht möglich. Das sollte man bedenken. Es wäre gut gewesen, wenn man uns vor Anreise kurz darüber informiert hätte. Wir hatten zu Glück ein paar aktuelle Bewertungen gelesen und uns en mitgebracht.

Étape parfaite à Fenit entre Beara/Dingle et la route pour remonter vers Galway. Lieu chaleureux où nous avons été tres bien accueillis, personnel réactif, parking en face et petit dej copieux inclus ! Chambre avec balcon et vue.

It served our requirements

We thought it was also a well rated restaurant when we booked our accommodation but they no longer provide restaurant services, there are other restaurants within reasonable driving distance but still not what we were led to expect. It had a notice “kitchen closed today” suggesting tomorrow it may be open , but this was not the case they just do not provide meals whilst suggesting that they do.

Leider hat es ein wenig unangenehm gerochen im Zimmer, da es direkt über dem Pub liegt.

The mattress on the bed was terrible for my back.

Room with beautiful views. Bar was good. Breakfast was good. No dinner facility and no music either weekend night but lots if football chat to be had. Staff were lovely and so helpful. So peaceful at night, quiet location if that’s what you want.

De locatie is mooi gelegen en we hadden vanuit onze kamer zicht op de zee. Ook de bar was gezellig.

De kamer, maar ook de eetzaal kan een grondige opknapbeurt gebruiken. Stoelen die doorzakken, tafel die plakkerig aanvoelde, hard en smal bed, wc die veel lawaai maakt en lang doorloopt, de kamer die een likje verf kan gebruiken etc. Daarnaast gingen we er vanuit dat we er ook konden eten, maar het restaurant is al een tijd gesloten. Gelukkig zat er een zeer goed (alleen vegetarisch en vis) restaurant in de straat

Herzlicher Empfang, sehr gemütliches Zimmer und tolles Frühstück. Klein aber fein trifft es wohl am Besten.

Die Lage war gut. Das Pub gemütlich.

Der Preis ist unverhältnismäßig.

The location was perfect , the sun was shining , everyone was friendly , the pier was near for a swim , the west end now needs to get back to doing evening food , l believe the lobster there was amazing

Parking near is limited but the place was jammers.

Schöne Umgebung, sehr nah an einem Strand ( Sand und Steine) Wasser nicht tief, man kann lange stehen, deshalb auch gut für Kinder, Unterkunft sehr sauber, alles da was frau braucht. Chef und Personal alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Frühstück war o.k. aber die Auswahl war schon sehr gering.

In dem Zimmer was uns angeboten wurde war starker Befall von Schimmel an der Decke sowie hinter den Gardienen. Da wir dieses nicht nehmen wollten, wurde uns ein sehr kleines Zimmer angeboten, was direkt über dem Pub lag. Dieses war zwar renoviert, jedoch war das Waschbecken im Bad so klein (30cm x 15cm), dass das Zähneputzen und Waschen unmöglich war. Mit all diesen Dingen hätten wir leben können, jedoch die Lautstärke in der Nacht war so laut, das an Schlafen nicht zu denken war. Mitten in der Nacht wurden die lehren Glaskübel in dem Container ausgekippt und das nicht nur einmal (24.00 Uhr 1:00 Uhr). Auf Gäste im Hotel wurde keine Rücksicht genommen. Auf der Internetseite des Hotels wurde mit der guten Küche geworben, jedoch ist schon seit längerem das Restaurant/Küche geschlossen ☹ Wir können daher diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen, es sei denn man feiert die ganze Nacht mit und sucht sich Restaurants in der Nähe, die jedoch nur mit dem Auto erreichbar sind.

Sehr freundliches Personal und ein toller Blick auf das Meer.

Leider war das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Badezimmer war nicht besonders ansprechend. Es müsste dringend renoviert werden. Das ganze Haus macht einen renovierungsbedürftigen Eindruck.

Good location, clean and nice room

The restaurant was closed, there was a party going on below our room until 3.30am, then the bar staff while tidying up had a loud conversation for a further 20mins. We called them. To complain. The staff were unapologetic. As we didn't get a night's sleep and our stay was ruined. We would not recommend ever staying at this place.

We liked the area we liked the area fenit and surrounding areas .

When we arrived their was no evening meals as stated on the website site saying bar food. They said the kitchen had been closed for a long time so had to travel to find somewhere to eat.

When we arrived we were told there was no food in the evening as there was a staffing issue. Given the location of the West End we should have been told in advance as there is nowhere else in the area that you could walk to. We asked the barman 3 times for the number of a taxi service, he never came back to us, in the end we had to organise ourselves

Exceptionally friendly owners and staff and locals in the beautiful town of Fenit. My first time visiting this guesthouse and the town and look forward to visiting both again.

das Restaurant hatte geschlossen und ist nur noch Samstags auf. Das ist ein Problem, das es in der Gegend wenig Möglichkeiten gibt und in der Beschreibung ja extra dafür geworben wird. Die Klospülung läuft extrem langsam und ist sehr laut.

La tranquillité du lieu, au bout du monde avec la plage à quelques pas pour admirer le soleil couchant.L’authenticité et la chaleur des équipes et de l'établissement Chambre lumîneuse, spacieuse et très propre avec vue mer.

Le restaurant de l'hôtel était fermé ce soir là exceptionnellement et pas de restaurant ouvert à proximité. Il a fallu reprendre la voiture pour remonter en ville.

The location is perfect for a holiday visit, as its next to Fenit pier, and have beaches around it.Easy to reach from Tralee, and completely more peaceful,with fantastic views.

I was expecting restaurant to be open, but due short of staff, it was closed when we arrived so we needed to find another place to have dinner. The bar was open ,and full of people.

Hôtel de bord de mer où nous sommes arrivés un jour férié Irlandais, il y avait donc une très grosse ambiance dans le bar et dehors jusqu'à minuit, mais cela n'était pas dérangeant compte tenu du contexte. Bel établissement et très belle vue.
