Staff super friendly and helpful
"I arrived at El Nido Beach Camp for a short stay and ended up prolonging it by two extra nights—I just couldn’t bring myself to leave! This is a stunning, quiet sanctuary that offers a rare combination of adventure, comfort, and heart. The owners and staff truly go out of their way to make every guest's desire a reality. The Highlight: Heartfelt Hospitality The staff and owners are the heart of this place. On one of the days, it was a staff member's birthday, and they had fresh crab delivered that morning (Photo 3). Even though it’s not normally on the menu, they prepared it for me so I could join the celebration. It was delicious and such a touching gesture! The Arrival & Accessibility The camp is wonderfully secluded. While the entrance from the highway is quite steep, the service is top-notch: the staff will pick you up at the main road (650m away) to carry your luggage and drive you down. Alternatively, if you want a more scenic arrival, you can often convince a local fisherman to bring you in via the beach! Once settled, you can rent a scooter for a breezy 30-minute drive to Corong-Corong. Sustainability Meets Modern Comfort The camp has a deep commitment to environmental awareness, balancing an eco-vibe with practical needs: The Sleep: Even in the tents, the beds are extremely comfortable. Tents come equipped with ventilators and electrical sockets. Smart Power: They turn off the generator during the day to be eco-friendly, but there is a 24h charging station for laptops and phones in case you forgot to charge overnight. Connectivity: The Starlink internet is fast and reliable—a rare luxury in such a peaceful setting! Adventure at Your Doorstep The location is a game-changer for exploring Tour B sites without the crowds: Cathedral Cave & Turtle Garden: Both are an easy, scenic one-hour kayak journey away (Photo 2).
Absolutely nothing
Nice relaxing environment with great views
Quiet, peaceful, simple life at it best.
Meal portions were very small for the price.
Restauracja serwuje pyszne śniadania i inne posiłki.
- The views from the beach camp are amazing - You can rent a kayak and go to the nearest islands and to the island across the bay, we saw plenty of turtles on the way - A great place for people who want to escape the busy El Nido town
- Mattress and pillow were uncomfortable, we had a constant neck pain - It says that the quiet hour is at 22:00, but during our stay there was a very noisy young company, they didn’t go to sleep until 2-3 a.m. People shouldn’t treat it as a party hostel
Stunning, secluded location. Very special. Very relaxing. Super friendly staff.
A few more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu would be great.
Stunning location. Staff it very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic location, serene solitude off the beaten track

Great place to live a camping experience in the filippino nature! Everything is very organized at the place, with all day long electricity and many charging spots for your mobile/laptop. Its a family business, and the staff there were very polite and very helpful with everything we needed in our 2 nights stay. They even helped us with their car ti move our luggage up and down the difficult 500 m road that leads to the camp. The beach there is very beautiful to relax, with amazing views of the nearby islands. Overall, a 10/10 experience with this family!
The only thing that didnt like was that the beach was rocky and difficult to swim. But you can rent a canoe or a boat tour to visit the beaches in the small islands very close to the camp
Beautiful if you want peace and quiet and enjoy nature. Its possible to rent a kajak at the camp to explore the surrounding islands.
Such nice people, Great quiet place, nature around, Hidden relaxed place, we loved to stay at the place 🫶🏻
Location was perfect with the best views of the beach and islands. Perfect getaway from the town quite and peaceful
Endroit incroyable !
Beautiful place to rest, away from the crowds and the noise. The staff is so lovely, especially the owner that also has a very good English. He and other guys helped us to push our car to come back to the first point. Don't make the same mistake as me, the road to go down ti the camp is not for cars and even motorcycles but you can leave it in a certain point and it will be safe. The place has a wonderful view, we did kayak that is $200 per hour or 400-500 if is for 3 or 4 hrs. I really recommend do kayak. Please bring cash and repellent!
Just the mosquitoes and ants that coming to our mattress. Apart of that, nothing else.
A wonderful place by the sea — very calm and perfect to rest. The team is super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. It’s also a great spot to relax and explore the surrounding area. I had a lovely stay.
It was just wonderful, incredible location, very kind staff and the food was brilliant. Away from the crowds, stunning kayaking around, this place truly is a hidden gem.
Would have been great to have access to better quality mosquito nets
El Nido Beach Camp is a hidden gem nestled amidst lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the sea and nearby islands. The sunsets here are truly magical, especially from the viewpoint constructed by the owners, providing a perfect backdrop for memorable moments. The hardworking Filipino hosts are exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. They serve delicious breakfasts and lunches, showcasing local flavors that are sure to delight your palate. Additionally, they offer kayaks for those looking to explore the stunning coastline. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery and warm hospitality, El Nido Beach Camp is the ideal destination.

**Review of El Nido Beach Camp:** Our stay at El Nido Beach Camp was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the family who runs the camp. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even helping us carry our luggage along the long road to the camp—truly a gesture that showcased their genuine hospitality. The serenity of the place is unmatched. Nestled in a secluded spot surrounded by breathtaking nature, the camp offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The views are absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear waters, towering limestone cliffs, and lush greenery creating a picture-perfect backdrop. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of the sunrise over the ocean was pure magic. One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly cats and dogs that roam the camp. They added so much charm to the experience, and their playful and affectionate nature made us feel even more at home. It was such a joy to have them around, and they definitely made our stay even more memorable. Overall, El Nido Beach Camp is a hidden gem that offers not only incredible natural beauty but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the wonderful family who runs it. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with amazing views, kind hosts, and adorable furry friends, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!
The kitchen closes early (at eight)
If you want a quiet experience away from the crowds of El Nido & don’t mind sleeping in a tent, this is the place to go! We rented a kayak to go to nearby smaller islands. The place has its own restaurant with amazing food, very delicious. They also have board games. Staff were super friendly & helped us arrange transport to Port Barton.
Though we didn’t mind sleeping in a tent, it does get very hot (even with the fan). We are a couple and after a few nights it also started to feel a bit small with the backpacks. Seemed a bit overpriced for a tent, but you pay for the surroundings. No hot water.
I booked 3 nights at El Nido Beach Camp and didn't want to leave. So I didn't, and ended up staying for a week. I love everything about this place. The staff here is super friendly, helpful and make you feel at home instantly. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The location is absolutely stunning. The panoramic views are pure magic, no wonder the tv-show Survivor chose to film here, I saw their set on a beach just around the corner. The road was being upgraded during my stay and I could already see this is a huge improvement. No doubt it will make it a lot easier to navigate your scooter. So grap your change if there is a hut or tent available. It's a serene place, perfect for chilling in a hammock, exploring the islands, or soaking in the incredible sunsets.
The picture on the site showed 2 different tents of a good size with a proper a frame cover over them. What I got was a tiny little tent with nothing but a fly over it and zero awning to keep rain away. I complained and they said they could not change pic on this site. I left after one day and told them I wanted a refund. Booking.com doesnt allow it. I ended up paying more for a crappy tent half an hour away from town than I did shareing a room right in town. I would not stay there and ended up out of pocket for the other 2 nights. Not satisfied at all.Photos show the crap tent I got and 2 screen shots from booking site. Grrr...
Clean bed sheets and towels Well-organized environment Beautiful panoramic views Lovely plants and well-maintained pathways Good food Helpful and accommodating staff In the tent was electricity In the tent was a fancoil
The camp is far from the main road, requiring a walk of approximately 600-800 meters on a rough path. Tricycles (tuktuks) charge 600-700 PHP but can only drop you off at the main road as they cannot navigate the difficult road from El Nido. Motorbike rentals do not allow riding all the way down, so you must leave the bike halfway and walk. (It's impossible to ride down) There are jellyfish and sand fly warnings at the beach. The main disadvantage is transportation—recommended only for those traveling light, as carrying a suitcase can be difficult. (Suffering to pull down and up on a rough path)
The beach access is absolutely stunning. The food in the restaurant was good and the beer was cold.
They really need to highlight the access issues that the camp-site has. Our driver could only drop us at the front gate because the road in was too treacherous. It was also raining torrentially. We had to struggle with bags for 750m down a mud track that was really dangerous. It would also be great if they made the restaurant non-smoking. It was quite off-putting when tables full of people sat around chain smoking while you're trying to eat. I can see that they're building some new facilities but since they've installed new tents, there's not enough room for people to sit apart from inside the tents. This could work for a backpacker, but definitely wouldn't recommend for a family.
This place is a masterpiece. We spent a wonderful time there. We rented a kayak and explored all the small islands around. Staff was very helful. We didnt want to leave...
The staff is very friendly, very helpful, the location is amazing, stunning view, very quiet, great for kayaking, everything was clean, the food was good and not as expensive as in el nido town, I stayed in a tent which was much more comfortable than I thought (:
Way down to the camp is tricky but I liked walking down and up, the view is amazing!
Private beach with a wonderful view and kayaking options and the staff were beyond helpful and attentive!
We arrived but didn't end up staying as it wasn't our thing, the huts looked cute and the toilets were clean. The driver who collected us from the airport was lovely and friendly. Forgot his name but he had a little red car. The view of the bay is lovely, the water looked nice further out but not at the shore. The beach is pretty wirh lots of palm trees Guests can have unlimited water/tea and coffee.
The road down to the camp is practailly a 90 degree incline which has to be done on foot They will take your bags/cases down on a scooter. Same as going back up 90 degree incline in the scorching heat. There is a 4x4 sitting there so not sure why this can't be used for guests, I did ask the manager but he said no lol ok. Nice views coming down though. When we arrived we barely got a hello from the manager and NO WELCOME DRINK and he didn't tell us when our hut was going to be ready lol. I know it's a budget camp but manners cost nothing and after a 30 hour journey starting in the UK, this was the minimum I would expect! We were the only guests that day as the party before were leaving when we arrived at 7.30am. We had to stay on the camp until we could check into our new accommodation elsewhere. There are only hammocks to chill in on the beach and no loungers. I asked if we could lay down in our huts as we were so exhausted, and we had already paid for the huts but we were told they weren't ready, however we watched him clean them out? Weird, like I said, no one else was staying there and there was only us and some staff on site. We managed to lay down on some hard benches under a large canopy hut thing then laid in the hammocks until it was time to leave thankfully Also, be aware there are lots of ants and sandflies and a swarm of these huge massive black bees, ok it is the jungle but I couldn't do it. I don't get all the amazing reviews, I guess people like what they like. They could make this place so much better by getting some beach chairs, loungers and umbrellas and an area where guests can chill in comfort on beanbags. Everywhere is hard wooden benches and uncomfortable. I wish people would leave more detailed reviews like this one so others can make informed decisions. You're welcome 😊
It's a serene place, far away from crowds. The view is stunning. You can chill all day in the hamack by the sea or rent a kayak and explore the area. We spent there two days to rest from adventures and it was best place to do so. Additionally, whole place is very well maintained, the lights on the trees and plants add a lot to this place. If you don't mind sleeping in a tent - it's a top choice.
Amazing view , great food and amazing staff
Mosquitoes :’)
Superb location right on the beach. It’s lovely to hear the waves as you drift off to sleep! Stunning sunset too!
Be prepared for insects especially mosquitoes and be aware that there is little room for luggage as the bed occupies your whole bedroom/cabin/tent
Wonderful retreat. Not at all luxurious, but completely relaxing. I stayed in one of the huts rather than a tent, and it was comfortable enough. Jun, the owner, very kindly left the generator running all night. This enabled the cooling fan to operate as it was really warm. The beach is lovely with an amazing view. The staff are very friendly and do their best to make you welcome. The chef provides basic and tasty food. It's possible to explore local islands, one with a cave.
The road down to the camp site is a real challenge. I actually enjoyed it on my rented scooter. Don't let this put you off, because it's well worth spending time here away from the crowds in down town El Nido.
The beach camp is located at a beautiful scenery! No one except the guests of the camp are at the beach. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food tastes good and the tent and facilities are clean.
Location was stunning, friendly staff and all at a good price
I strongly recommend it. The whole family is so kind and the scenery is breathtaking. This place is paradise.Don't spread the word.
I don't want to leave this place anymore.
Had an amazing stay at the beach camp. We stayed in one of the huts. Spent an evening chilling by the beach, woke up to the sounds of the sea and birds. The staff was very helpful and the food was good.
Located 15 minutes from el nido, yet somehow boasts an entire coastline to itself. there’s an island a short kayak paddle from the camp that is a treat to spend the day exploring. Food and drinks a tasty and affordable, especially considering the proximity to el nido.
