Beautiful property with in walking distance of Doolin. Very quiet and peaceful there.

Nothing to do with the property because it was great but Doolin could use a grocery or convenience store.

Great location, short walk to the pub and all the attractions, highly recommend. Safe secure parking.

The location is excellent. Windswept & rural you are right in the countryside with dairy cattle on your doorstep to keep you entertained. You can't beat the sounds from the farm next door as your alarm clock. It a few minutes walk to a popular, very tourist orientated pub and shop bursting with the usual tourist fare available. Tge walk back takes slightly longer, tge difference is staggering.

Didn't like my neighbours parking right outside my door, why they don't park outside theirs was a mystery. There's nowhere to hang a wet coat inside the door when you come in or to put wet, muddy boots. You'll get a pain in your neck if you want to watch TV. It's showing its age and it's location, set high up on the wall, makes bo sense. The large coffee table has no real purpose, the telly could sit on it and make for a more comfortable viewing experience in my opinion, or replace tge big table with a nest of smaller ones. Somewhere to rest a cuppa or a G&T would be far more practical. The RTE player app doesn't work, telly is too old to support the update. I didn't appreciate feeling this was my problem when I pointed this out. Using the oven/grill inadvertently sets the fire alarm off repeatedly in such a tight space. Luckily we could open windows and front door to help deal with this but on a wet day this wouldn't be an option. A small air fryer might be a good and more practical solution I suggest. Instructions on how to operate the induction hob would also be handy.

A casa é ótima! Tudo muito limpo, organizado! A cozinha muito bem abastecida com tudo necessário para prepararmos nosso café da manhã, cama muito confortável, ducha com ótima pressão! A localização é perfeita! É possível ir à pé para jantar no centro Doolin e apenas a alguns minutos das falésias de Moher!! Foi uma estadia muito feliz!! Paramos o carro bem em frente à casa!

Most comfortable stay in our travels so far. Comfortable bed and cozy setting. Highly recommended

The apartment is well stocked, clean, and just gorgeous. It’s right across from a cow pasture and I found it relaxing to see them each morning. The location is so quiet, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was amazing with plenty of hot water. Plenty of space for parking my car. It’s walkable to the local pubs in Doolin and a short drive to other towns such as Lahinch and Ennistymon, and super close to the Cliffs of Moher. Nothing at all was disappointing. Honestly wish I could live there. I’d be happy.

Centrally located. Great bed and shower. Well appointed kitchen.

It’s a very basic apartment. Adequate, but nothing special. There wasn’t enough room in the bedroom to place and open our suitcases, which is a hassle. If you’re looking for basic, it’s fine. If you want something more than that, it’s not the place.

Great location. Only a short walk down to Doolin town centre but felt like you were away from all the pubs etc and was quiet. The place itself was clean and well kept. Its a good size and has everything you could need. The owners would message offering assistance and were easily contactable. We definitely stay again!

Location was perfect for heading into village of Doolin for the evening. Spacious parking and felt very safe there. The house itself was lovely and warm and was perfectly set up for self-catering, the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Bed was really comfy and the shower was strong and hot (makes a huge difference after a long day!) Hosts (Pascal & Sinead) provided all the info we needed for our stay beforehand and also had a folder of helpful info for exploring Doolin set up in the kitchen when we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay, and would rate it really highly!

The property was very clean and seemed freshly renovated. It was just a 5 minute walk from Gus O'Connor's and The Ivy Cottage. It was very quiet and easy parking right outside the door.

As mentioned in other reviews, the water pressure in the shower is pretty light but worked well enough and would not deter me from staying here again.

No hot water

Jake's place was good home base for exploring Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. We like to hike/walk so the location made it very easy for us to walk to the trailhead, the ferries, and the pubs. It was nice to park the car for a couple of days. The apartment had a peaceful setting, very quiet, with a nice view over the pastures. The hosts were very responsive to questions that we sent in regarding the apartment, hikes, etc (although it was a bit surprising they didn't know that part of the trail was closed). We chose not to cook in but if we wanted to, there was ample equipment to do so.

As we travel we are learning that we really appreciate having personal interactions with our hosts so having a remote check in didn't provide that. But we knew that going in so not really a criticism.. just a heads-up. I would also recommend them to use less air fresheners as the scent was oppressive. I finally found it under the sink and put it outside for the duration of our stay. For others staying, be aware the water tastes bad so bring bottled water with you.

The location was very central, a stones throw away from the town, which also had beautiful views! The place was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We will definitely return when we visit Doolin again. Thanks Sinead & Pascal.

It's very comfortable and clean and the kitchen was equipped for two people. It's spacious enough, very affordable. Excellent WiFi and tv/streaming options. It's not in town exactly but we were definitely able to walk to and from a couple of the nearby pubs. Perfect location for exploring the coast. Easy check-in.

The shower water pressure is a bit low for hot water - make sure nobody is using the kitchen sink while showering, lol.
