Der Gastgeber aufgeschlossen, zugewandt, hilfsbereit und grosszügig. Selbstgebackene Kuchenstücke zur Begrüßung. Frühstück außerordentlich!

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026J'ai beaucoup aimé la chambre, spacieuse, bien décoré, au calme, literie très confortable.( trop bien dormi). Nous avons été très bien accueilli par l'hôte, la maison est à notre disposition, très propre. Nous avons pu stationner la voiture à l'intérieur de la propriété. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux , fruits, charcuterie, pains, brioches, oeuf, parfait ! vaut largement les 20 euros. Super, on reviendra avec plaisir !!
Manque un support pour mettre la serviette en sortant de la douche.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026My wife and I lived our stay at Villa Magnolia and have already recommended it to another couple who like cycling and hiking. Unfortunately we didn't manage to cycle or hike but VM was perfect for us. With the train station 250m away and trains taking only six minutes to Brugges (and also to other cities) it enabled us to see the area, including a visit to the beautiful beach at Oostende. Dieter's breakfasts are fantastic! All-in-all a great place to stay.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Die Villa ist vom Bahnhof aus bequem erreichbar und man kommt mit dem Zug sehr leicht nach Brügge. Das Haus ist super saniert und innen modern eingerichtet. Man könnte gut frühstücken, was wir nicht in Anspruch genommen haben. Unser Zimmer war sehr hell und geräumig. Das Bad ist sehr groß und wir hatten viel Ablagefläche. Wir haben im bequemen Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Das Haus steht im Grünen und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Wie jeder Altbau ist es etwas hellhörig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommemd!
Es gibt keinen Schrank, allerdings einen schicken Kleiderständer mit Bügeln. Allerdings könnten wir unsere Koffer nicht wirklich ausräumen. Wenn man mit kleinem Gepäck reist, ist das kein Problem, wir haben aber eine 2-wöchige Rundreise gemacht und größere Koffer.

Reviewed May 10, 2026We were traveling by car so were very pleased that there was secure parking with a coded gate. The owner Dieter was there to meet us and was super-helpful explaining everything about the property and general arrangements. We had our own key and because there were 4 of us, we had 2 bedrooms and the run of the property which was lovely. Breakfast was 22 EU per head, but was amazing - excellent food and our host was very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.
The only downside was getting into Brugge. We were planning on traveling by train as the station is just down the road, but it was reunning a reduced service. The taxi (Uber) took quite a while to arrive and was around 20 EU's. None of these were our hosts fault of course, just worth bearing in mind (you could bring your bikes and cycle!).

Awesome location right near the train station. Short walk into town .complimentary cake and chocolates was very good.We loved it!
No complimentary tea and coffee. Although had two small bottles of water and the cake and chocolates. So a bit confusing. But absolutely no reason to reject the stay. It's beautiful.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026La chambre très grande dans une maison qui vient d'être complètement rénovée avec goût. La proximité à 10 min à pied au centre ville, la grande salle de bain, la gentillesse du propriétaire.
Le radiateur de la salle de bain faisait du bruit mais il faut l'allumer et il s'arrête de faire du bruit. Je n'étais pas au courant et j'ai dû chercher par moi-même la solution. Ce n'est pas quelque chose de rédhibitoire mais comme ça, vous savez quoi faire le cas échéant.

The owner is very hospitable and speaks several languages fluently. The private bedroom and bathroom are clean and comfortable, with a shared living room available. Breakfast is offered and most of it is handmade—fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

De kamers zijn ruim, heel proper en afgewerkt met oog voor detail en kwaliteitsvolle materialen – echt een lust voor het oog. Wat het nog specialer maakt, is dat er ook een gezellige living en keuken ter beschikking zijn, waardoor je je meteen helemaal thuis voelt. De ligging is heerlijk rustig, met een adembenemend uitzicht dat je meteen in vakantiestemming brengt. We werden warm onthaald door de bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaars, die niet alleen een fijne babbel aanbieden maar ook een leuke uitleg geven over de boeiende historiek van het huis. Het ontbijt was zeer gevarieerd, verzorgd en met veel smaak klaargemaakt – een perfecte start van de dag. Alles was tot in de puntjes in orde. Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar rust, kwaliteit en gastvrijheid. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Magnolia. Unser Gastgeber war unglaublich sympathisch und sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat uns viele Ausflugstipps für unsere weitere Reise gegeben. Die Anbindung nach Brügge per Bahn ist perfekt - der Bahnhof ist nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert, alles ist neu und gepflegt. Es gibt einen gemeinsamen Aufenthaltsraum und eine Küche, die von den Gästen benutzt werden kann. Auch das dazu gebuchte Frühstück war fantastisch. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung. 10/10, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sobe zelo velike ponujajo dobro ugodje, materiali prijetni, zelo lepo diši, vse zelo čisto, kopalnica zelo prostorna in lepa. Gostitelj zelo prijazen in ustrežljiv, namestitev ima zastonj parkirišče. Oostkamp je le par minut oddaljen z vlakom od Brugge. Vredno za denar, ki ga plačate, priporočam vsem, ki želite obiskati Brugge.
Nimam pripomb, vse je bilo kot je treba.

Het uitzicht is prachtig en de locatie is perfect om lekker snel naar Brugge te rijden. Het ontbijt was echt geweldig. Super goede broodjes, alles vers. Wij raden het zeker aan om hier te verblijven.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die wirklich gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel hat es noch abgerundet. Das i-Tüpfelchen war das perfekte Frühstück.

It's newly renovated, very clean, the bed is comfortable, the bedding and the towel is it top notch, big living room, very modern kitchen, huuggeeee yard and last but not least the owner is very friendly, and the welcome cake is delicioussss !!! we were there in early november, the early morning view from our window is unreal......love love love this place!
There are no body soap and shampoo in the bathroom, but we come prepare, so this is not an issue for us.

Il s’agissait de notre première fois en Belgique et nous avons adoré! Décor sublime, chambre d’hôte impeccable, intérieur récemment rénové je pense, propre, hôte sympathique et présent à notre arrivée pour infos et explications. Parking privé à notre disposition.
Seul bémol : petit déjeuné non compris dans le prix.

O quarto e toda a estrutura da casa são de extremo conforto em bom gosto, da para perceber a atenção e cuidado dos anfitriões em todos os detalhes, por falar neles, foram muito gentis e receptivos. O café da manhã foi o ponto alto da estadia também, valeu muito a pena inclusive o valor extra por ele, estava tudo muito bem servido com comidas frescas e locais. A localização também é ótima para quem está de carro, ficando a apenas 15 minutos de carro desde o centro de Bruges. Definitivamente recomendamos.
