The christchuch weather at night it was freezing outside while we were nice and cozy inside 🙃

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Location was not good. Our car got broken into, while parked in assigned parking. It’s a cup de sac and no people walks by so police suggested someone might have been watching.
I suggest a cámara outside. Host said there were no cámaras which would have been useful as the car was parked in the driveway and right next to the house front door.

A privacy blind on the stair well would be good, & some oil on the bathroom door. The thing that would be the most appreciated, is some additional comfortable seating in the lounge area. The sofa bed is pretty uncomfortable to sit on. Unfortunately so are the dining chairs.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025The unit was spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed.
The couch was uncomfortable and there wasn't enough seating in the lounge. Just a small couch that would be a squeeze for 3 people. There was enough room for a bigger couch and another lounge chair. If 4 people stayed there some would miss out on seating. This is the only place we have ever stayed where no milk was provided. The kitchen rubbish bin was tiny and flimsy. The top fell off first time we used it. Also bathroom heater wasn't working. We had booked for 3 people but only 2 stayed. Changes had to be done 30 days prior ( which I was aware of), so for that reason I wouldn't book again.

Reviewed May 6, 2025Location quiet, close to a diary & local shopping centre. Clean, tastefully decorated. Beds very comfortable Shampoo & soap in shower, Lovely shower. Rails on stairwell as stairs quite steep
Upstairs bedroom needed fan's or aircon as windows unable to be opened wide, March temperatures were warm. Milk in fridge for cuppa would have been nice. Pegs for clothes line needed.

The cleanliness of the beddings. They are obviously uncleaned and smelling as sheets covered with hair and stains, a lay of dust and hair under both pillows. It has affected our sleep badly and made us very unpleasant.

Polyester sheets. Prefer cotton 🤗 Big pillows for if you’re a little person . Flat pillow for smaller people would be awesome.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2024Cosy house and well furnished! Everything you need is there ! It'd be perfect if they had a dryer. They do provide plenty of set up outdoor for drying your clothes.. kitchen is well equiped and very clean too! I don't think you will regret staying here.

We slept in there with 5 people (4 adults and 1 late teen) and had no issues with space. Everything was comfortable and the location is amazing. Only a 25 minute walk from the Wolfbrook stadium.
