Bruckless Rest - Fine Country Living

Clean, comfortable and cosy house where Eamonn couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast table was set to perfection with so many choices from fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt to cold meats and cheeses, and a selection of delicious pastries. Eamonn was the perfect host

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, and the room was comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was excellent, especially the beautiful bathtub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—delicious, with generous portions that kept us full for half the day. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had during our travels. The host was very friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We would happily come back again!

A fantastic place to stay if you're exploring this area. Our host Eamon couldn't have been more helpful, the house is historical, beautifully furnished with everything you might need and eamon went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The cherry on the cake was the amazing breakfast, the table was exquisitely set for us and we felt spoilt by the incredible spread that Eamon prepared for us. All in all, a memorable experience.

Bad und Zimmer sind gleich groß. Sessel stehen im Bad.

Einfach alles: das wunderbare, extrem vielseitige und liebevolle Frühstück, das große Schlafzimmer und das Extra große Badezimmer mit Dusche und freistehender Badewanne. Das Zimmer war angenehm ruhig. Durch die zentrale Lage war man schnell in Killeybeys oder auch in Donegal. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen !!!

Die Einrichtung war sehr stilvoll. Insbesondere das Ambiente im Badezimmer und dem Frühstücksbereich waren sehr ansprechend. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist unser Gastgeber Eamonn, der uns herzlich empfangen hat. Er hat sich stets um Anliegen mit großem Engagement gekümmert. Auf jeden Fall können wir einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen.

Eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung mit einem äußerst netten Gastgeber in absolut ländlicher Gegend.

Mr Eammon is very friendly, prepared a magnificent breakfast and was always concerned to know if everything was okay. The photos are exactly the same. The room is magnificent.

This is a reminder for travelers. Since the accommodation doesn't offer internet (as already mentioned in the ad), download offline maps, as the connection in the area isn't good. I didn't have a 3 signal for most of my stay.

Size of our room was AWESOME Location was great. Lots of great sightseeing activities close by. Wonderful superb breakfast

Breakfast is continental style with great choice. Lovely. Bedroom was large with equally large ensuite. Lovely. Worth a stay for the hospitality and the little extra touches provided by the host. Go for it.

I can only report positive things. The room and especially the bathroom looks very chic. I immediately felt at home. The host is very nice and makes sure that everything is fine. The breakfast is excellent and there is everything you need. As a parting gift, the host gave me a CD of his own songs. As I said, everything was perfect and I would love to come back again

Its hard to say what we think of our stay at Bruckless rest, its one of the finest B and B we have ever stayed at, fine country living does not really sum it up, it is really fabulous. Eammon our host met us and showed us in and explained all we needed to know and a few recommendations for eating out. our room was opulent, the bathroom was exceptional. breakfast provided made us feel like special guests it was wonderfully presented and was just 100% great. Eammon was a really great man and wonderful to talk to. if there is anyone who knows the trade of satisfied customers its Eammon

This place was outstanding - I really can't rate it highly enough. Our host Eamonn made us feel very welcome and his attention to detail was of such a high standard - I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere quite as luxurious - the roll top bath was a bonus! . Really enjoyed the breakfast which was beautifully presented - would definitely stay here again 🥰

We have already reported our concerns to the owner about the room temperature, lack of instructions, hot water problems and very poor selection/amount of food but have not received a reply.

Eamonn is a great welcoming host. We have a great time in their house. He made continental breakfast each morning with lovely details. He was happy to schedule the breakfast time according to our needs. The bed was also very comfortable. I highly recommend it!!

We needed a weekend away, and Bruckless Rest was a perfect slice of peace. We were a close enough drive to hiking and restaurants and had everything we needed at hand (though we did go for a little salsa dancing further afield in Sligo). The room was even more gorgeous than the photos and we couldn't have asked for more. We booked this accommodation last minute & Eamonn was a wonderful host - we left feeling well-rested and refreshed.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. The room is nice and big with a very comfortable bed and a huge bathroom to yourself with everything you possibly need. Eamonn is a great host. He was making sure you have a good time at his beautiful place. The breakfast was just over the moon! I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast with so much variety before. Highly recommend this place!

THE Host was very nice made us feel at home enjoyed our stay

The guesthouse was beautifully decorated outside and inside. Breakfast was beautifully laid out each morning and we had a lot to choose from. The host attended to our every need and was very welcoming. The room was beautiful and with our own ensuite too.

The location was a bit far out from the nearest town but there was a bus you were able to get just across the road.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The location of the B&B is close to sightseeing. I really enjoyed walking around and discovering sights close by and not so close by. I actually walked to Killybegs, which was great! Eamonn was a lovely host providing me with gluten free options, a beautiful fresh fruit salad, wonderful coffee and more. The house is gorgeous as is the garden.

The room was large and very comfortable as well as beautifully decorated. Breakfast was probably the best I've ever had in a B&B - fresh fruit salad and freshly baked croissants and pastries.

The only complaint I would have is that there was no wifi. In today's world, I feel this is essential!

We weren’t aware that when we booked it that if we wanted a cooked breakfast we would have to cook it ourselves but everything was provided and host had asked if there was anything else he could provide for us

We loved our host Eamom who was such a beautiful man and our breakfast was amazing and so nice each morning. Our room was of high quality and the sleep we had was amazing. Our bathroom was divine. We recommend anyone to stay as its 10 out of 10 for service and quality 👍 will definitely be coming back 😉
