Stay in Annascaul Village at Aido's

Room was very nice, Aidan was very nice as well.

Cozy, clean and perfect for our needs. Very attentive host. Self-contained kitchen, all appliances working. Beds super-comfortable and great shower which were so welcome the night before running Dingle half-marathon! Less than 30 mins from Dingle, beach 10 mins up the road… cute little village with some cool pubs and cafes including the cafe downstairs.

Nothing at all. Perfect for families/couples, anyone wanting to explore Annascaul and Dingle.

Der Besitzer war super nett und bemüht alles für uns zum besten zu machen. Hat uns gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge gegeben. Das Frühstück war sensationell und mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Das Zimmer hat zwei französische Betten, eine Küchenzeile, die mit allem ausgestattet ist. Das Bad liegt über den Gang und ist neu, mit Fenster und gut ausgestattet.

Wir waren zu Dritt im Zimmer, das war in Ordnung. Die Matratze von unserem Bett war recht weich. Für ein Ehepaar mittleren Alters finde ich die franz. Betten zu schmal. Das Appartment geht zur Straße, wobei der Verkehr sehr gering war.

We had an amazing time in Annascaul. It’s such a small village, basically just one main street, but it completely exceeded our expectations and ended up being one of the hidden gems of our trip. Aido was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away, greeting us with delicious homemade pastries and even offering us more olive oil and other little extras. He was also really helpful with recommendations and tips on what to see and do around the area. The place itself exceeded our expectations too. It was clean, spacious, bright, and cosy, with lovely views of the main street from the windows. There was a bit of street activity, but closing the curtains gave us all the privacy we needed. The bathroom was across the hall, but it was private and exclusively for our use, so it wasn’t an issue at all. We had such a pleasant experience staying at Aido’s and would definitely recommend it. And definitely don’t skip Annascaul itself! It’s a real hidden gem, with its special black pudding, cosy pubs, and, most of all, the incredibly friendly and welcoming people we met there.

I liked everything

We were on the last two days of our tour aroud Ireland when we arrived at Annascaul for the night. We booked our accommodation the day before, and it was a good choice. Firstly, Aidan, the owner, was very kind and hospitable. Aidan wasn't there on the evening of our arrival but took care about our comfort and provided us with all the information in advance so we felt well cared for and at ease. In the morning next day we had a delicious breakfast. Aidan gave us a list of all the places worth seeing in the area and a lot of valuable information about them. This was very important as not all of them were on our pre-planned list. And secondly, Annascault is already on the Dingle Peninsula. In the morning when you get up and plan to see and explore all the beautiful places, some of which Aidan had mentioned, you're practically there: just a few minutes from the first attractions. Aidan also runs a café. An interesting, easily recognizable place. And above all, a very friendly and kind owner. If one day we'll be again in Ireland, definitely we'll visit Aidan again.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Annascaul und wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr gemütlich und sauber, mit einer eigenen Küchenzeile hatten wir alles, was wir brauchten. Sehr nettes Café mit tollem Frühstück. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und kommen gerne wieder.

It was the best stay I had in Ireland. My room was very thoughtfully decorated and bed and sofa the most comfortable. The creative spirits Aidan and his wife that take care of the house fill it with warmth and hospitality. I would definitely book again. Next time hopefully with a pottery class and playing the guitar. In rough weather of Irland it is a small sactuary with hot shower and good breakfast.

I did not have more time to stay longer, which was sad.

Beautiful breakfast and great coffee. Annascaul is a lovely place to stay, not far from Dingle with a couple of pubs and grocery store. Aido’s provided a little apartment , with kitchen and separate bathroom. Really enjoyed the welcome from our host who gave us guidance on places to visit and went the extra mile to make our visit to this part of Ireland memorable .

AIDEN è un host molto cordiale e sorridente. Il bagno era enorme e la doccia bella grande e acqua calda.

I letti supplementari in realtà sono divani. Non molto comodi. La cucina non era molto pulita, i cassetti avevano briciole e ho trovato una tazza sporca. Ma in generale è andato tutto bene. Il prezzo è un po' alto per la qualità.

Stayed in the studio overnight while hiking through the area. Found it to be clean, comfortable and plenty spacious for a solo traveler. The kitchenette was modern (though I didn't use it) and the bathroom had a new shower in it. I read up front it is across the hall so I did not mind. Annascaul is a small village but the place could not be more centrally located! The cafe downstairs is charming & Aidan served up a tasty breakfast before hitting the trail again.

Curtains could be somewhat thicker but that was not a big issue for me.

The host, Aidan, was extremely helpful and provided all sorts of information on the area, tailored to my interests. The accommodation was entirely satisfactory, clean spacious and characterful. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. If I am in this area again I would happily return to this property.

We loved the location and Aiden was a joy to talk with. The apartment was clean, modern with touches of old character and the beds were comfortable. Parking was easy. Our favorite was the delicious breakfast! We hope to return soon!

The bathroom being separate from the room is a little awkward, but since no one else was in the other room it worked just fine for us.

Breakfast was really nice and cooked the way I needed it, and also the breakfast made me full.

To be honest, the room was really nice but I booked it for 3 people, so there was a privacy issue as I was with my wife and a friend.

It was a lovely place. It was clean, comfortable, big and well located. It was exactly what I needed after a long ride! I loved the breakfast in the morning. The tomato jam (?) was delicious and everything was home made and fresh. It was wholesome.

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Aidan was a fantastic host, very welcoming. We were able to bring our dogs and they were also welcome in the pubs. Everyone was very friendly in the area. We'd certainly stay again if we were up that way!

Had a wonderful stay at Aido's. Was travelling for the Irish Food Awards with my daughter. Great location not far outside Dingle. Apartment had everything we needed and Aidan was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again in the future.

This is a unique stylish apartment in a cute village. We only stayed one night and wish we had more time to explore the area. Our host was very helpful with ideas and great communication.

Wir hatten das komplette Obergeschoss des darunterliegenden Bistros zur Verfügung, Schlafzimmer, Bad/WC und eine geräumige Wohnküche. Einrichtung in IKEA-Stil. Zweckmäßig und dennoch mit Stil. Sehr netter und interssierter Gastgeber. Tolle Lage mitten im Dorf. Schöne Pubs in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen.

Lovely stay for a quick night in Annascaul while walking the single way. Loved the apartment and wish we could have stayed longer to use it more!

Very well appointed, lovely spot. The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen, nice hot shower. We cooked but Aidan does lovely food downstairs. Right in The centre of the village, close to Dingle but not in the thick of the tourist area.

Great host, very helpful and welcoming

Nicely decorated clean apartment in a charming old building, on top of a pottery studio and a cafe run by the same people. We only stayed for one night but the apartment should be nice for longer stays as it has all the amenities. The town is tiny and peaceful, right on the road to Dingle.

We had a really relaxing stay in the apartment. The host was so helpful with checkin, and suggestions what to see in Dingle. The apartment is modernised to a high standard, cozy character. Although it is next to a road, with the windows closed you cannot hear any noise. 10-15 mins drive from Dingle town, and enough to do in Annascual also for an evening. I would be glad to stay again.

Great base for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Nice Spacious Apartment - also pet friendly so we brought our Cocker Spaniel. Great local walks and pubs in the Village.

Aidan was a wonderful host. He had asked about our arrival time and was there when we pulled up. He showed us around the apartment and shop and provided some milk for coffee or tea as well. It was very nice to have an entire apartment, even if just for one night. Very comfortable, well-appointed and clean. We drove to Dingle for dinner (about 15 min drive) and returned, hitting the local pub across the road before turning in. The next morning, Aidan made us breakfast before we headed off for the Kerry Cliffs. The area in and around and in between was absolutely stunning. This was a comfortable and convenient stop on our tour of Ireland! Highly recommend.

Aidan was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. He served us a very tasty breakfast in his cafe downstairs which was decorated with pottery and paintings made by his wife. The building is adorable, with a nice combination of rustic charm and modern amenities. The Tom Crean inn is just down the street, and the Dingle way passes by the front door. Huge thanks for everything Aidan! Hope to stay here again.

Beds weren’t great, but not bad. Kitchen only contained pepper and a little oil, a few tea bags and coffee - we bought salt and butter and left it there. Tidy, but needs some updating.

Great location, excellent host who ensured we had a fantastic stay. Our morning and evening walks with the dog along the river were an absolute delight. Aidan’s breakfasts are a real treat for the soul and provide ample fuel for a day of exploring the area.

Great time in Annascaul, we loved our accommodation, Aido was a such a great host; and great hospitality and really delicious homemade breakfast and cakes at Aido's Cafe downstairs. Central location to visit the wonderful sights on the Dingle peninsula. Lovely food in Patcheens for evening dinner. O Domhnail's local shop was great for groceries and icecream cones. We came home refreshed. Would love to go back.
