Our host was warm and welcoming and the dogs were gorgeous.
Una habitación acogedora, pero muy amplia. La propietaria es muy amable y el lugar es muy tranquilo.
Nada. Todo excelente.
Everything about this accommodation oozes heart and soul. Dave & Bridget have created a beautiful space to create memories. Tasteful decor & a night spa, recommendations on dinner locally, chats about stock and cute doggies - we had such a wonderful stay!
Nothing not to like it’s fabulous
Everything really .. lovely large loft room .. very comfortable and quiet .. nice rural views .. welcoming host .. friendly dogs
Quite remote and hard to find in the dark
Beautiful rural setting yet close to Auckland Airport; spacious living area and very comfortable. Didn’t use the pool or spa but will next time.
Really nice place the Family room was good size for us and my dog.
very fun at the swimming pool and hot tub so relaxed
Very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast was provided in our room which was ideal as we were able to help ourselves when we awoke. Bridget and Dave were lovely guests.
There was no TV; that may be a drawback for some but for us that added to the serenity of the stay!
The layout of the loft very homely
Needed a fan although windows were open was very warm. To get to the loft the garage area had a very strong smell of petrol
Hosted by a very welcoming couple
Peaceful and quiet
Really spacious modern home with Edwardian elegance. Friendly & welcoming hosts.
No lock on bedroom door.
Excellent breakfast provisions, great setting.
Perfect space for myself and 2 teenage children plus dog. Use of the pool was a bonus as it was a very hot day when we arrived so was bliss to cool off. Breakfast supplies were plentiful. Beautiful property.

The room is super spacious for a family stay with lovely decorative touches that make it feel individual and homey. It is peaceful with lovely views and in a private area above the garages. Nice breaky and use of the pool & spa was a plus. Hosts Bridget & Dave offer a great place to stay.
Lovely hosts, beautiful breakfast, peaceful & stunning!
Nothing to not like :)
Perfect location for the Glenbrook Vintage Railway. Stunning house and Gardens with amazing hosts. It was so nice sharing with the kids what a traditional Bed and Breakfast was like. Amazing continental Breakfast options provided. Room was Beautifully warm and clean, lots of space and very comfortable.
Glorious hosts, that went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fantastic,
We loved everything. The complimentary breakfast that Bridget supplied is so generous.
Love the place and all the details! The host were lovely!
The loft was huge and tastefully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable. Good continental breakfast choice.
Probably best to have a car.
都很好
地毯可能需要深度清洁或者更换了,会有淡淡的狗味。
The views were amazing very comfortable bed and breakfast was lovely. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating
Great communication, prompt and friendly. Wonderful breakfast selection, had something for everyone.
Lovely loft accommodation attached to a beautiful home, owners are lovely and very accommodating, would recommend. Lovely sunrise views
Rural location with stunning views
A little lacking in heating and no electric blanket.
Absolutely beautiful setting very peaceful wonderful lil slice of heaven.
The outdoor spa is what topped it off for me, but also how peaceful and quiet it is.
Excellent; above & beyond expectations.
Very large room magnificent rural views

Hosts were very warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful and clean. Gardens and house are stunning.
Didn’t book a long enough stay. Couldn’t fault it.
We were welcomed warmly by the lovely Bridget and loved the peace and quiet. The accommodation was spacious, with a lovely home feel. Coffees, teas and breakfast options made life easy for us. Communication was also top of the grade making the stay so easy. Recommend for anyone, couples or families, the facilities in the room were fabulous.
Lovely charming big room with comfortable bed.
Lovely friendly hosts. Very homely apartment and comfortable bed. Lot's of space, lovely views and quiet. Very good breakfast selection. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever back in New Zealand.
Nothing, it was all great.
I loved the space, it had everything we needed even right down to the little things. Loved the pool and spa great way to wine down after a long day.
There was nothing that we didnt like
Great breakfast and spacious room
Nothing, it was perfect for what we were after
Beautiful setting, the extras like teas, coffee, juice, cereals. Huge pool and spa.
Luxurious and comfortable accommodation in a rural peaceful setting. Bridget and David are warm and welcoming. The perfect hosts. Our second visit and they were so accommodating.
Nothing it was perfect for our short stay .
Beautiful location and property

Beautiful, quiet location. Comfortable beds. Friendly host. Generous breakfast provisions. Spacious, easily accommodating our family of 4.
Nothing
Bridget had greeted us upon arrival and was super friendly, and along with their many many friendly dogs (they all loved the attention), having a pool towel each for the day was also an unexpected but great surprise! We didn't see Dave that much but he's a very nice person during the short times that we had seen him. The spa was amazing and a specific one of us adored the horses.
Everything was perfect, but the room we stayed in gets really hot during the summer, some extremely hot nights too. I'd recommend going in a bit of a colder weather as there is a spa. We also struggled a little bit with the bathroom blinds but that may just be us haha
Fantastic breakfast supplies to help ourselves.
As there are no curtains we could have brought eye masks if we had known prior. Made for an early morning.
clean and value for money
no curtains on the windows
Space
This is a superb room, cozy, yet plenty of room, with lovely hosts (and their friendly dogs), exceptionally comfortable bed, and beautiful outlook. There is an ample choice of cereals and toast and yoghurt for breakfast in the room, you are close to a village with a couple of choices of restaurants, and 5 minutes' drive from the vintage railroad which is worth a look.
Privacy isn't an issue, but the large windows have no blinds, so you wake with the sun (whether you wanted to or not!). If you know this in advance, you can bring an eye mask to deal with this, otherwise expect an early start to the day.
I was so mesmerised when I entered into it. It was so natural and historical place. It feels me like everything present in room tells a story and so much was there to explore. It just brought me somewhere deep in life. The property was so nice and clean. All facilities were fantastic. The breakfast was lovely. You think of anything and it’s there.
I liked everything
We recently stayed at The Loft at Henton Lodge for two nights over the weekend with my husband and our two 13-year-old children. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—the friendly dogs greeted us, and Bridget was delightful, showing us around and ensuring we were comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as pictured, with a cozy, lived-in feel that made it easy to relax with teens in tow. While there are no curtains in the main room (just a blind in the bathroom), we never felt exposed. My husband even checked by walking back from the pool, and you really can't see in. Waking up to the sunrise was lovely, and our daughter used a sleep mask to sleep in undisturbed. The pool and spa were a definite highlight for our teens, who swam every day. The views were stunning, and the peaceful setting, with birds and animals all around, created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast provided was generous with a great variety. Coming and going was easy, allowing us to explore Pukekohe and visit family. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
The warm welcome from Bridget. The beautiful surroundings. The comfortable cosy bed. The attention to detail to make our stay special . The stunning views from the hot tub. Breakfast provided in the room.
Nothing everything was idyllic
Delightful oasis in the countryside. Very welcoming hosts.
Everything, great hosts, great breakfast, yummy home made muesli, quiet and peaceful
Nothing
Gracious, welcoming hosts;; beautiful, spacious accommodation; peaceful, beautiful location.
Wifi reception
Everything was beautiful - literally! Beautiful house and a lovely room, large, with very attractive furnishings. Pretty countryside views. I didn't use the spa or pool but they would be a bonus. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate. Small kitchen but exactly what you need. Overall, an outstanding situation and more than value for money.
Unfortunately I won't be able to stay again because of the lack of curtains, so the windows let in light from early in the morning. Because of my reason for staying, I need to be able to sleep in a little the following morning and that's just not possible. Also, it's an upstairs room but some people may find the lack of curtains disconcerting when in the bathroom, getting changed etc. As well, I sometimes need to book two nights and on one of the nights I would be staying in, and would want a TV in the room. A shame, because otherwise this is a really outstanding place to stay.
The Loft at Henton is a spacious, comfortable, relaxing place to call home for a few nights. Although completely private, it's part of the beautiful, big farm homestead. We loved the great views over the farm and surrounding countryside, and the wonderfully quiet location. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the generous continental breakfast provided ... especially the delicious homemade granola, and plunger coffee!
Liked it all.
Loved the farm stay, and The Loft is gorgeous with its wonderful character and different little nooks and seating areas. Fantastic breakfast options, including the most divinely sweet little mandarins off their own tree. As a suggestion, it would be great to have one or two hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes or your dressing gown. Our hosts, Bridget and David were fantastic, thank you so much :)
It was just a beautiful place to stay.
Self contained room and spacious. Quiet location and stunning views of country surroundings. Beds and bedding were very comfortable and the decor was put together well.
Perfect location, close to Pukekohe township for takeaways, groceries etc. The host was an absolute delight!!! Lovely breakfast selection and a large variety of numerous hot drinks - quality products. My kids absolutely enjoyed having a late night spa & a bit of a dip in the swimming pool. Beds are amazingly comfortable & bedding very warm. Heaters were available if required. Very spacious, well stocked & decorated. Just loved it 🥰
A Television would have been nice
What an amazing property and the owners were so friendly. Would recommend staying here. It was wonderful.
Really spacious room with connected bathroom, very comfortable beds - 1x King and 2x single, some boardgames provided for children as well. Good communication with hosts prior-to arrival and very welcoming when met in person. Generous breakfast options supplied in room e.g. yoghurt, fruit, toast, cereals, butter, jam, peanut butter, honey, milk, orange juice, bottled water, variety of teas and coffees. Would stay again in the future.
Suggestions would be to have a stool/chair to put clothes on in bathroom and to provide window coverings of some kind. You will need to provide your own hairdryer. No TV in the room.
Great breakfast ...the homemade granola was spot on—lots of space. The hostess was friendly and helpful.
Nothing.
Loved the vintage design of the room, beautiful views, peaceful space. We enjoyed a spa, and slept amazingly. Lots of variety for the continental breaky too.
I didn't mind so much, but the young fella was a bit disappointed there was no options for a telly .
The Pool and Spa were fabulous enjoyed by our Grandchildren
