Nice and friendly owner, good communication. We received some snacks. The apartment is spacious, well equipped.

Clean, neat and well equipped, located close to Le Morne and the south west coast, as well as local shops and restaurants. Includes a washing machine which was great. A beautiful view of Le Morne from the kitchen window. Vinesh and his family are super friendly and generous with their recommendations for local attractions, as well as the kind offering of samosas on our last day. Would definitely look to stay again on our next trip!

Parking is a little tricky at first, but easy enough when you work out the angles!

All was Perfect. The Apartment is located really close to Le Morne beach (5 mins Drive to swim with turtles in the best beach we have Seen in the Island), in a super quiet and chill neighbourhood. Sleeping was so peacefull here. The Hosts Are super nice, giving us some advice on places to visit on the Island and even gave us a tasty snack on our Last Night there. The Apartment is fully equipped, comfy bed and super clean! Really we have loved our stay here, will come back Next year!

À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueilli par les parents de Vinesh, des gens adorables qui nous ont mis de suite à l’aise. Avec leur fils, tout aussi gentil, ils nous ont ensuite donné des conseils de visite à faire autour du logement. Merci à eux pour ce très beau séjour sur l’île Maurice. Le logement est très bien situé, dans le sud-ouest de l’île. A 300 mètres du logement, il y a un restaurant « Chez Bihm » on l’on mange très bien ! Nous vous conseillons cette adresse et ce logement.

Duży, przestronny pokój, wygodny taras, duża łazienka, świetna lokalizacja. Pokój był sprzątany podczas pobytu. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Miły i pomocny właściciel, dał nam również wiele poleceń i rad w kwestii zwiedzania okolicy. Zostaliśmy również poczęstowani lokalnymi samosami, które były przepyszne!

Dość trudno było zaparkować.

Bardzo przyjemny i czysty apartament ze wszelkimi udogodnieniami, położony w miejscowości La Gaulette. Mieliśmy wszystko co nam było potrzebne - kuchnia w pełni wyposażona. Przemili gospodarze, wszystko nam wytłumaczyli i służyli na bieżąco pomocą. Apartament jest położony w miejscowości La Gaulette, stąd tylko 8 min samochodem do słynnej plaży La Morne, góry La Morne Brabant i innych atrakcji, których pełno w okolicy. Bardzo dobry stosunek ceny do jakości i udogodnień. Serdecznie polecamy!

The appartment offers everything you can need, free parking available, AC in the room, a well-equipped kitchen. Vinesh, the host, as well as his father were very helpful and gave us some good advice where to go and what to see. And moreover, we received delicious home-made samoussas before our departure.

This accommodation is situated near the sea but it is not possible to bathe there. There is no beach.

The apartment had everything you need, it was clean and neat. We had a nice view from the window and from the balcony you could see a little bit of the ocean. The location is great - 7-10 minutes drive to the beach Le Morne, a couple of minutes drive to the grocery store. Very close to the most major sightseeings. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful, they can give many good recommendations. We felt welcomed and safe. If we come again, we will definitely stay at this place!

Прекрасное место, чисто и уютно. Есть все необходимое. Очень любезный хозяин, по просьбе в течени 10 минут принес блендер для коктейлей из фруктов. Аппартаменты оказались лучше на самом деле чем выглядели на фотографиях. Место для парковки доступно прямо около дома. Соседи приятные люди, по просьбе продать манго которого очень много у них, с радостью собрали пакет и не хотели брать деньги. Рядом есть не большие магазинчики. Хорошее тихое место, рекомендуем для проживания.

Во второй комнате на кровати был не удобный матрас, пружины немного замяты под наклон, для нас не критично так как мы путешесвуем в двоем, рекомендуем хозяину его заменить. В остальном все идеально.

Wspaniali Gospodarze prowadzą swoje apartamenty. Mili, troskliwi i pomocni w każdym momencie. Apartament bardzo czysty, sprzątany co 3 dni, wyposażony we wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty. Spokojna okolica. Blisko sklepy i restauracje. Gospodarz pomógł nam w wynajęciu skutera, by nim zwiedzać wyspę i jeździć na plażę. Blisko przystanek autobusowy. Gospodyni poczęstowała nas pysznymi samosami. Najlepsze jakie jedliśmy podczas naszego 12-dniowego pobytu w Ebony Studio. Blisko stragan z owocami. Gorąco polecamy ten apartament i Wspaniałych Gospodarzy. Nie szukajcie nic innego !!!

Wszystko było dobre i wszystko nam się podobało.

Velký, prostorný a plně vybavený apartmán, dvě ložnice, 2x klimatizace, kuchyň s “jídelnou” a koupelna. Malý balkónek. Domácí byli super milí, když jsme něco potřebovali, dalo se s něma na všem domluvit. Večer před odjezdem nám nachystali menší “original snack”, parkování auta přímo v areálu ubytování - takže vše hlídané. Apartmán je součástí rodinného domu což má za mě přidanou hodnotu. Kousek od pláže Le Morne, dobré jako výchozí bod na okolní turistiku. Mohu je doporučit, příště bych vybral stejně.

The accommodation was very good and well located, about a 10-minute drive to Le Morne beach. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, and at the end of our stay we received a small traditional snack from them, which was a lovely touch. We recommend this place!

Bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz. Apartament był bardzo czysty i pachnący, sprzątany dwukrotnie w ciągu ośmiodniowego pobytu. Parking przy mieszkaniu (bezpłatny). Niedaleko apartamentu znajduje się mały sklep oraz restauracja. Bardzo polecam!

L'appartamento è nuovo e comodissimo, completo di qualsiasi cosa (compreso il ferro da stiro ed il phon!). La cucina è ben equipaggiata, la doccia bella grande e calda, il materasso perfetto. La famiglia è stupenda ed ospitale (le samosa che mi hanno offerto le ricorderò a vita!!!) e sempre disponibili. La posizione è perfetta, luogo tranquillo e 5 minuti a piedi dal "centro" di La Gaulette. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, lo consiglio senza esitazione!

The location is superb, offering peace and quiet in the evenings and an excellent starting point for exploring the south and southwest of the island. Soggiorno perfetto! I padroni di casa super gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno anche fatto assaggiare del local food preparato da loro. Appartamento pulito e funzionale, in un quartiere tranquillo nella baia della Gaulette a pochi minuti di auto dalla stupenda spiaggia di La Morne. Si trova vicinissimo anche ad un supermercato ben rifornito. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo! Se dovessimo tornare a Mauritius sicuramente sceglieremmo di nuovo questo posto per il nostro soggiorno

The flat is spacious, spotless clean and has everything you need. The bed is comfy and we slept really well. The AC works well too. It is well located, especially as we went for a hike at Le Morne and often went to Le Morne beach. Vinesh and his family are extremely kind and Vinesh offered lots of advice on what to do in Mauritius. They also kindly offered us the best samoussas we've had so far! I highly recommend staying at Ebony :)

L’appartamento che avevamo era perfetto per due persone: non troppo piccolo né troppo grande, con balcone privato. La posizione era ideale, con doppia esposizione, per cui era sufficiente tenere le finestre aperte per restare al fresco senza bisogno di aria condizionata. Vinesh e la sua famiglia sono estremamente cordiali, gentili e super disponibili, sempre pronti a salutarti con un sorriso ogni mattina. Cercano sempre di venirti incontro e di aiutarti in ogni modo: ad esempio, noi siamo arrivati molto presto al mattino e ci hanno gentilmente permesso di lasciare i bagagli in camera, cambiarci per andare al mare e poi hanno sistemato l’appartamento, che non era ancora pronto. Troppo gentili!! Vinesh ti consiglia tutti i posti più belli da visitare nei dintorni e le esperienze più interessanti da vivere, anche quelle meno turistiche. Inoltre, se hai bisogno di fare il bucato, ci pensano loro per 300 rupie a sacco, così non devi preoccuparti di cercare una lavanderia. Un abbraccio caloroso alla mamma di Vinesh che, lo confermiamo, prepara i samosa più buoni di tutta l’isola! È un posto bellissimo dove sentirsi a casa… ma anche davvero in vacanza! :))

Un'inezia. Un’unica pecca dell’appartamento: il rubinetto della doccia. Non siamo riusciti a regolare bene la temperatura dell’acqua, o usciva troppo calda o troppo fredda. Vinesh, ti prego… metti un miscelatore unico! Così anche gli storditi come noi riescono a farsi una doccia come si deve! :))

Well equipped, clean and spacious apartment. Had everything you need for a self contained stay. Hosts were also very helpful and friendly. Location is great. Very close to Le Morne which i found to be a great area and beach. Supermarket very close by which was also very well stocked. Would recommend

Bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. Found it hard to sleep. Bathroom bit small. No hot water the last couple of days but I let the host know and I think it was fixed before I checked out. Didn't realise until the second day when it happened again.

El personal és molt amable i acollidor, l’apartament té tot lo necessari i te’l netegen durant l’estada. També té parking privat dins del recinte. Recomano molt favorablement aquest allotjament!!!

Majitel nám zařídil půjčení auta, které bylo přistaveno na letišti za dobrou cenu. Majitel nám doporučil a zařídil různé aktivity i v jiné části ostrova. Ubytování bylo prostorné, velmi čisté, častá výměna povlečení a ručníků. Parkování u ubytování. Polohu ubytování velmi doporučujeme - ideální k podniknutí mnoha výletů.

At our arrival the owner was expecting us, he helped us getting settled and we found a very warm welcome and a very clean appartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was very good at all times and this family deserves a 10 in everything. The location of the place is perfect for exploring le morne, the Southeast coast of Mauritius and to do some hiking. We would go back to this place with no doubts.

What a wonderful place and host! The apartment is spacious, modern, and well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable, and the owner is incredibly kind and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring the southern and central parts of Mauritius — it’s close to major attractions like Le Morne Brabant, Chamarel, Black River Gorges National Park, and the beautiful beaches of the southwest coast. Despite being so well-connected, the area is peaceful and relaxing. The apartment itself is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable – everything you need for a short or long stay is there, from kitchen essentials to a good shower and comfortable bed. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. The owner, Vinesh, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help – whether it’s with small requests or organizing island tours. His local knowledge and willingness to assist made us feel truly at home. Overall, a superb experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Ebony Apartment & Studio to anyone visiting Mauritius!

This is one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in, in terms of value for money, location, and a helpful host. It's a big, well equipped apartment. We loved drinking our coffee on the balcony and watching the sunset over the water at the end of the road. And Vinesh and his dad are very kind, helpful hosts. Plus the town is great!

It was clean, modern, comfortable and had everything you could wish for, even a sandwich toaster! It’s newly refurbished and I cannot recommend Vinesh and his lovely family enough, they cannot do enough to help.

You will need transport here, either bring with you or arrange in advance for a scooter drop off. Sites are near but not reachable by public transport. Not that I didn’t like this, just a heads up!

We had a great stay. The place was really comfortable and the hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They were more than welcome to facilitate with the laundry and we received simosa’s on the last evening.

Amazing hosts, kitchenette equipped with anything you'd need on holidays. Apartment was clean and tidy. Nearby there was a fruit stall with some amazing fruits and bus line no 5 stop. Price ratio very good. Opportunity to consider for the host: if you open the rooftop terrace it will become an amazing sunset scenic spot and a great asset.

Light sleepers will definitely need earplugs for dogs and roosters.

Very friendly, open and helpful host, who gave recommendations for nearby activities. A cold bottle of water was provided upon arrival. The apartment was very clean, tidy and smelled fresh. Everything was working properly and the kitchen had all utensils provided for cooking. Host created a welcoming feeling and I would definitely stay here again!

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious with plenty of space, making the stay very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Cleaning was done every four days, which was a nice touch. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, and while there is no beach, the views are stunning – especially of Le Morne Mountain from the window. It is very quiet and cozy, creating a perfect relaxing atmosphere. We especially loved the beautiful terrace where we had breakfast while enjoying the surrounding nature.

The only thing we didn’t quite like was the lighting. The room has relatively small windows, so it felt a bit dim even during the day. In the evening, there wasn’t enough light either, as the lamps were not very bright. This is an easy fix – installing stronger lights would make the room much more comfortable!

Friendly helpful host, high spec and well stocked kitchen, great bathroom, nice touches like umbrellas, well located for exploring the area. Off street parking, air con in bedrooms.

Cushioned chairs in seating area would be nice but that’s nitpicking. I would definitely go here again.
