Very comfortable and clean hotel right in front of the entrance gate to the old town. The owner is incredibly friendly and helped me with anything I needed, including booking a bus to Pokhara.

Ik had 1 nacht geboekt maar bleef 6 nachten. Geweldig hotel: perfecte rustige locatie op loopafstand van de bazaar, ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame familie die het hotel runde, ongelofelijk goed ontbijt waarbij je uit 10 opties kunt kiezen. Zeer aan te raden!!

The stay was very comfortable and at prime location with good view from balcony. The host was very welcoming.

It was our best stay in Nepal. The host made us feel at home, he is a very nice person, he arranged for us an EV for our next destination. The breakfast was served with love and warmth, the food, the cafe area everything was just perfect makes me wanna go back again to this place!

Room has an excellent view of hillside, and location is just a few steps away to centre of Bandipur. Very easy to find from the bus drop off point. Breakfast is generous and they give a lot of options to choose from. The staff who received me was great and friendly. I traveled solo and I booked a single room, and the bed is a comfortable super single. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I'd recommend the place to anyone.

I don’t normally do reviews but my time here was so lovely. Rukum and his wife are the two loveliest people, super friendly and go over and beyond for their guests - nothing was a problem, their recommendations were great (the walk to Ramkot) and Rukum helped me with onward travel with the bus. The location of their place is perfect, with a lovely view from their breakfast room. There is also a lovely choice of breakfast each morning.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and gave me recommendations of what to visit such as the hike to Ramkot which was nice. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and had everything I needed. The lady who was cooking the food was also very sweet. :)

It is a really nice and cosy place to stay in Bandipur. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice. Great views of the mountains from the dining area, perfect for an afternoon beer. Easy stroll to the main street. Rukum and his family are so nice, he is keen for a chat and happy to help with anything. Thanks Rukum. Parking is available next door for 100 rupees, I parked my motorbike there.

I had a really pleasant stay at this homestay ideally located next to the bazar and close from the bus stop. The owner is really nice and always tried to do its best to help me. The single room was super clean and had everything I needed inside, the breakfast included was also delicious. I would definitely recommend !

Food is extremely great. Room is clean and offers homely environment. Everything including hospitality is great.

The family was incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast was a lovely touch. Great views of the himalayas in the morning as well. Also, the mom took the time to accompany me to the bus stop in the morning and made sure that I got on the bus alright. There was a fan in the room, which was also great.

The room was a tad small, but in the end, had everything I needed.

Owners Rukum and Pramila were very friendly and helpful. The views from our room and their restaurant were spectacular. They arranged transport for us to Pokhara and showed us a lovely walk to Ramkot. They shared a very interesting story about their life.

L'hôtel est situé à l'entrée de Bandipur. Le propriétaire est chaleureux et serviable. La chambre est simple, propre. Le petit déjeuner est super copieux : il faut choisir dans un petit menu. L'hôtel fait restaurant et la cuisine est de qualité pour un prix raisonnable. Une très bonne adresse à Bandipur.

La chambre est assez petite et il n'y a qu'une petite table pour poser ses affaires. Le matin, les cris des coqs vous réveillent à coup sûr malgré les bouchons d'oreille. Petit détail à améliorer : les sachets de shampooing étaient ouverts et n'ont pas été changés, idem pour le savon.

Het verblijf was fantastisch! Je wordt verwelkomt als familie, het eten was heerlijk en het allerleukste was dat ik kon helpen met het koken van dal bhat en momo's. Kortom: ik zou hier zeker terugkomen! ❤️

This homestay is one of the best I booked in Nepal. The family is absolut friendly, very helpful in all respect. The breakfast ist fantastic. The room perfekt comfortable and very clean.

Rukum was a great host, made me feel very welcome and helped with booking my transportation for my onward journey. My room was adequate size, comfortable bed, great wifi connection, hot showers, with a selction of breakfast items to choose from in their restaurant area. The homestay was so affordable, would highly recommended!

Staying at Bandipur Samira Homestay was the highlight of my trip as a solo Malaysian traveler, offering a heartwarming 'home away from home' experience with the best organic Dal Bhat and incredible hospitality from Samira and her family. I loved my room with the window facing the village; it was much quieter than the restaurant area and provided a peaceful spot for people-watching, which became truly magical and sparkling at night when the town lit up. The location is perfect, being just a 2-minute walk from the main bus stop and close to local attractions like the Thani Mai Temple and the famous 'Mini Great Wall' of Bandipur, a unique local wall that looks just like a small version of the one in Beijing,China! The family was incredibly helpful in organizing guided hikes to these spots and sharing local tips, making me feel completely safe and welcomed throughout. For around RM 50-70, it’s unbeatable value for anyone wanting authentic Newari culture and stunning 360-degree mountain views from the restaurant balcony—just remember to pack your thermals and be ready for the narrow spiral staircase!

However, my main dislike was the bathroom setup; the toilet has a large open window hole without a lock or glass. While it was nice to feel the fresh mountain breeze, as a solo traveler, I felt quite uneasy and afraid that someone could potentially climb through it, which affected my sense of privacy and security. It is a bit 'seram' for a solo traveler!

The rooms are nice, everything works well, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and the view is good even though we weren’t lucky enough to to see the mountains :D

Quel endroit super ! Un très bon accueil, chambre propre, douche chaude bien appréciable. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellent, préparé devant vous avec des produits frais. Trois femmes sont là pour prendre soins de chaque demande. Bien placé à 2mn du centre et très calme. Sans parler de la vue exceptionnelle sur les Annapurnas par beau temps. Un très bon rapport qualité prix .Je conseille vivement cette adresse.

Samira Homestay in Bandipur is located in a perfect location to be close to the pedestrian only market area, as well as set out on the day hike attractions. I think this location is superior to the other locations I saw which were harder to get to and likely noisier at night. The hosts at Samira went an extra step for me when I accidentally left my journal in the dining room and did not realize it until I had reached Kathmandu. I contacted Samira and they worked out finding another guest who would be traveling to Kathmandu the next day and could bring me my journal. For that I am extremely grateful.

Bandipur in general was a bit busier than I expected, and I prefer a calmer center of town, with quieter nights. However, the day hikes I did, one to Ramkot and one to the Sidda Cave, were very worthwhile, and made up for the less inspiring town center.

Super liebe Frauen, die auch gut um einen kümmern und hilfsbereit sind :) das Essen war fantastisch, vor allem die Hash Brown potatos

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, insbesonders das Badezimmer ... Bei schlechteren Wetterbedingungen riecht das Badezimmer und somit auch Zimmer sehr feucht und ist klamm, aber dafür kann Samira nichts, das sollte einem nur im Vorfeld bewusst sein.

The Staff were wonderful. They arranges taxi's and bus tickets for us. Nothing was too much trouble. and a great location very close to the historic centre. This is ideal for Backpackers or those travelling on a budget. For the money the experience is exceptional; The rooms are basic and rather small but have eveything you need . Clean, lots of Hot water, reliable internet, power points and very comfortable beds. Also a great breakfast.

I loved my 2 nights there. The rooms are small but the coziness of the place more than made up for it. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location a short distance from the town center and a view from the restaurant’s balcony to kill for.

Me guié por los comentarios y no son coherentes con la realidad, como son muy agradables las personas que regentan el lugar y te hacen la estancia agradable decimos que es fantastico pero el viajero necesita buen descanso para continuar y algunos trabajamos muy duro para poder vivir la experiencia del viaje, poderlo pagar. La cama es lo mismo que dormir en una mesa, las almohadas igual, no he dormido nada, el lugar es alto y hace frio, no hay mantas no hay armario, el lavabo no tiene ventana y cuando te duchas tampoco hay agua caliente, me han estropeado los dias porque salgo enferma. Mi habitacion al lado de la cocina, con el ruido de la gente a las 7 a .m obligada a levantarme.

Me dijeron que no hay agua caliente porque ha llovido estos dias, ok, pero si no tienes un minimo de servicio no pueden cobrar lo mismo, casi 20€ que a mi tambien me cuesta mucho ganarlos. Solo puedo decir que son agradables y el desayuno está correcto y lugar limpio...DESCANSO NINGUNO!!!
