Seton Sands Haven Holiday Park - Prestige Caravan

L'emplacement est idéal si on veut être au calme. La caravane est sur une petite colline, sans vis-a-vis, peut-être dans le meilleur emplacement du camping. Tout est fonctionnel, propre et bien décoré. Nous avons pu cuisiner sur place, et prendre le bus tous les jours pour aller visiter Edimurgh.

Il n'y a rien de négatif. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les infrastructures du camping, restaurants et animations car nous avions un autre programme.

Really small bedrooms for adults with separate beds

The caravan was clean and lovely with the normal basic facilities provided and everything worked perfectly. Staff were lovely and understanding. I enjoyed my stay. The whole site was beautiful and serene, they had nice facilities like an arcade, swimming pool and so on. Would definitely recommend

Proximidad a la playa, en un entorno natural . El espacio del bungalow muy bien aprovechado, incluso para personas con dificultad de movilidad. Muy limpio y con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Muy amables para el check in e informacion.

Habia que pagar adicionalmente por el acceso a actividades, no solo deportivas sino también didácticas para niños y shows nocturnos. Poca disponibilidad de bicicletas tampoco pudimos usarlas. Tiempo de transporte a Edinburgh superior al previsto (90 min) dificultad para encontrar Uber.

Caravan location was beautiful. Disappointed however inorder to have a swim I would have had to purchase a play pass for me and my two kids, costing just under a £100. We were only staying for less than 24hrs. I felt in this situation Haven could have provided a more cost effective solution so me and my two children could at least have a had one swim and enjoyed the evening’s entertainment???

Perfect spot on the East Lothian coast for weekend golf trip with the lads. Fully equipped and homely and was nice and clean

Lovely and comfortable, felt very homely. Had everything we needed. The location of the mobile home was great - as had bit of green space beside it which felt quite private and we had nice bbq there. Decking was great with outdoor seats with trees behind so again helped make it feel a little more private! It was a fantastic base for us, near Edinburgh, lovely beaches and lots of lovely towns along the coast to visit.

There was nothing not to like. A very minor thing was no implements for bbq - but nearby Lidl had tongs and brush on special for 2 pounds!

The caravan was amazing and lovely to stay in, we really enjoyed our stay, it was very clean and cosy

Man kan tage bus 26 til Edinburgh, og bussen holder lige udenfor campingpladsen, nemt og en fin tur på en times tid.

Vi valgte pladsen bl.a. på grund af poolen. Men man skulle købe et "pas", som kostede for 3 dage 52 £ pr. voksen og 24 £ for børn. Man var ikke en gang sikker på at kunne få en tid til poolen, da andre havde mulighed for at booke op til 4 uger før, og vi fik først oplysningen, efter vi var ankommet til pladsen. Desuden skulle man vist også betale yderligere for indgang til poolen. Dette var ikke blevet oplyst af udlejer. En ansat rådede os til at tjekke, om der var ledige tider, inden vi købte "passene" Man kunne booke tid via en app, men den kunne ikke downloades af personer, som ikke kom fra UK, og børnene blev vildt skuffet. Vi prøvede at kontakte udlejer for yderligere information, men fik svaret, at vi skulle kontakte campingpladsens information. Der var ingen informationer fra udlejers side - andre steder som vi har lejet, har der ligget flere siders informationer om nærmeste restauranter, læge, indkøbsmuligheder, og på campingplader informationer om selve pladsen. I beskrivelsen af boligen står, at der er 2 badeværelser, men der er kun et toilet og et badeværelse med toilet. Udlejer tillader sig at bede mig om give 10 stjernes anmeldelse.......... 🙄

Birds on the roof. Did see some people with bird deterants on the roof. When booking additional entertainment through Haven no link can be made due to bookings directly through owner.

Det var rimelig og god plass godt utstyrt.

Man er avhengig av egen bil det, eller blir det mye gåing og vanskelig komme seg rundt. Vi var der for 2 nettet og da blir det dyrt med bading,.lite og gjøre for ungdom. Personale vart helt ok, men lite hjelpsomme. Sengene var utrolig dårlig. Vi leide hotell andre natten i steden for bli der.

Great host, very kind and responsive , amazing location and property.

Fantastic location within the park in a quiet little spot, but close to the entertainment facilities. The caravan itself had a nice seating area on the deck. Good sized kitchen and dining area. For the rainy days having Netflix was fab.

It was clean, well maintained and exactly as described. One of the best parts was the beautiful outdoor area. The surroundings were well kept and made the stay even more enjoyable.The property offered excellent value for money. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

One area that could be improved is the cooking equipment.There was only one frying pan available, and it was quite worn out,which made cooking a bit inconvenient. Adding a couple of good quality pans would make the kitchen much more practical for guests who prefer to cook during their stay.

This caravan is absolutely stunning. Super clean, with all the essentials and more. Host is very good at communicating and even came over to give us sun umbrella for the patio as it was unusually sunny in Scotland 😁 Location is nice, very quite as it not a through road with football play field and sandy playpark nearby. Still close to the sea and main building (under 5 min). Will be looking to come back for longer.

The caravan is situated in a beautiful, green and peaceful area. The interior was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. It exceeded our expectations in every way.

We thought we had booked the Sea view Caravan , This was the one on the booking.com price shown, loved the TV in the bedroom, only to find there was no aerial connection cable, NO BBC 1 OR BBC2 channels, too many cushions in the bedroom, no where to put them.

The check-in staff was very friendly The Caravan was really tidy and clean Coffee machine was a big help

Lack of facilities in the whole resort, like a big restaurant for open buffet breakfast, the beach was not suitable for any activities,, for example.

The owners were very accommodating and helped us with every request.

Our only downside and it's with the site and our short stay so no fault of anyone else really. The day pass is required for swimming and was too expensive for just swimming. You can head into Dunbar though and they have a leisure pool.

The owner drove to the caravan to replace the poo stained travel cot and brought wine and chocolates and an apology after sending pictures to her of the state her van was left in from the cleaner

The cleanliness was a real issue. I took pictures of just how bad this was. We were given a travel cot in the wardrobe, when opened it was covered in poo stains and other stains which I’m not sure what they were. We had nowhere else for our baby to sleep so had to put a quilt down in it to make it sleepable. The living room stank of cheap floor cleaner so we had to leave the windows open constantly to breathe - no exaggeration it hits you as you walk in and yet the surfaces were dirty. There were pubic hairs on the sink, toothpaste spit in the sinks, skid marks in the toilets! The en-suite toilet still had a poo in it!! A toothbrush holder with spit and hairs in it too (which the owner took away disgusted when she came down to give us a new travel cot). To top it off I slept in the bed one night, used their soap the next morning and my face ballooned as I’d taken some kind of severe reaction and had to go to hospital! I’m still on steroids and antihistamines and now missing a week from work after staying in the most disgusting caravan I have ever rented. Don’t let the nice pictures fool you as I did. The owner was lovely but she said the cleaner they use was usually very good - clearly not. There wasn’t a room that was clean in the full caravan!

The property was very nice and extremely clean. Everything was well organised and ready for our arrival. The caravan was comfortable, warm, and had all the facilities we needed. The location was also great and easy to find, and the check-in process was simple and smooth.

Comfortable stay with a surprising amount of space between lounge, kitchen and bedrooms. Shower water pressure was good. Communication with the owner was excellent and the property easy enough to find with parking next to the cabin. We endured Storm Dave without any issues!

The facilities on site were not for us but we knew that was likely before staying. The shop on site was convenient however.

It was a bright, cheerful caravan! Everything is compact (as expected), but we loved that it slept our family of 6 and none of the kids had to share a bed. :) The beds were very comfortable. The coffee machine (with coffee pods) were appreciated! I didn't realize there was a second toilet and a washing machine when we booked it - those were a nice bonus! Unfortunately our evenings were cool/rainy, but it looked like comfy deck seating outside as well.

Some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty, but that was easily fixed with the dishwasher. The main areas were all very clean!

My only disappointment was the swimming pool in the park. Interestingly, the tickets are more expensive than the most posh gym in Edinburgh.They said because it was peak off time 😱

The best thing about this property is that it felt like home. It has everything you need and I especially liked the good quality bed linen. The sofas and double bed are very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. There is nice outdoor furniture too.

We've had a lively stay thanks to Jadwiga who's been so lovely and helpful. I have asked her to turn on the heat before our arrival as were travelling with kids and have had a previous freezing surprise at a different accommodation and the caravan was very warm on our arrival. It was also nice and clean with everything you can need. As we had a small issue with the internet (which is obviously not host fault) we really appreciated the play station, chess game and books provided. Moreover, can't thank her enough as we forgot something at the property and she was lovely enough to pack it and post it to us. Would definitely stay here again!
