Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The home is a well maintained family run vacation home. This meant it was well stocked with EVERYTHING you would need, which was very helpful bc the location is remote and wouldn't be convenient for last minute shopping. Lots of towels, extra soap, TP and basic kitchen stock items were all available. We stayed as a family of 4, so there was WAY more space than we needed, but it was a luxury to spread out and relax. Great space layout in the rooms with lots of hooks, shelves, and plugs. Communication was excellent. Clear check in & out instructions as well as helpful suggestions for the area.
It's less than ideal that the only beds are bunk beds against a wall. There are 3 rooms with double beds on the bottom of the bunk, which means one partner has to climb over. But if we were staying with a larger group, this would have been an advantage to fit more people in.

Reviewed Oct 10, 2023Really everything was awesome! The house itself, the area around it, the host. Reidar made sure we had the best of an experience on that great Senja island. No matter if it rains or shines, the house is comfortable for hours inside as well since you can watch the fjord and mountains, the northern lights and tides throughout its magnificent window walls!
For just a small family it is a little on the pricier side. It makes sense to come with two parties to share the costs - there are four bedrooms.
