Different cultures that it offers ,Amazing
Not much to do on the property but i guess is because of the cultural theme they are maintaining
Lesedi cultural village is not just a night stay accommodation. Its a home with love
The bed was not well made on the second night

Food and location
The was a smell in our bathroom, so I would suggest maybe putting diffusers or some scent
The Staff were amazing and so friendly. The setting was absolutely stunning. The rooms had everything i needed for my stay

The paid cultural experience was good but could have been better with a question and answer time. Also, not all the items layed out at each village was explained. Overall, it was good. The actual hotel part was clean but the shower didn't work. They seem to cater more for the people that come for the two hour cultural experience because you are forgotten by the next day.
You couldn't take a shower because the water pressure was too low. The hot water only came after 30min and not enough for a shower. The basin taps were so close to the edge of the basin, it was had to use. Not practicle. After the first night, you are fogotten.

The room, the shower the bed and the fact that vhavenda and Batsonga are not celebrated
This was my second time staying at Lesedi Cultural Village, and once again, I really can’t complain! From the beautiful views to the amazing receptionists and staff, everything was wonderful. Thank you once again for the amazing stay and for making my experience so enjoyable. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality, and I’ll definitely be back for my third stay!

Very interesting place, friendly staff and very comfortable stay.
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. All provided for.
All was good.
Awesome awesome and awesome
It was all awesome nothing not to like
It has a bit of South African culture feeling. The roomed I booked was always cleaned everyday, towels were changed daily, shower gel and soap always available and toilet paper was always available.
The parking was a turn off because it has no shade or cover.

The culture aspect , the peace , tranquility, it was very comfortable
Stayed in pedi village it was not so clean just outside the room,
Warmth that the staff members , particularly the dancers and told players brought. Now and again they will break into a song, really enjoyed that.
The rondavels are too close to each other and we could hear the casual conversations ( but not make out clearly what was being said) from our neighbours.
What a fantastic place to learn about the diverse ethnic groups and cultures of South Africa! It’s entertaining, educational, and so much fun. The food and accommodation were exceptional, but what truly made the experience special were the people—kind, warm, and welcoming! A must-visit and one of the top experiences to do if you’re anywhere near Johannesburg. Highly recommended! 🇿🇦❤️
The atmosphere was so welcoming
Very cozy
Different cultures represented, friendly staff, delicious breakfast
The fact that Lesedi is in North West, but Tswana culture is not represented at all, it doesn't make sense. This should be the first village you come across as you enter.
We liked everything about our stay from the friendly stuff to the rooms. Will definitely be coming back
The cultural experience made the stay even more special. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Deluxe rooms were great, good ameneties, good size, comfy beds. The twin room was comfortable although could be cleaner. Overall, a good stay.
Cleanliness of twin room.
No batswana village please arramge it. You can locate a cultural heritage at moruleng village bakgatla tribal authority for more details
Food was good
The property was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The rooms were spotless, the bedding and bathroom were fresh, and the overall environment felt comfortable and welcoming. It was clear that the staff take great pride in keeping the property clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We love the cultural show the best!
What stood out for me was the friendly staff who made us feel at home. Everyone was outstanding, but I really wish to give a shoutout to Mpho who went out of her way to make my Spouse’s birthday a memorable one. The effective communication made everything run smoothly. We got a room upgrade as a birthday gift, the setup in a room was outstanding, with birthday decorations for 2 consecutive days. The scenery is out of this world. We enjoyed the informative dance, breakfast and dinner. Loved the personalized welcome table labels at dinner. Our room was spacious and very clean. I am very angry at myself for discovering this place so late in my life, definitely coming back!
After a very long and tiring day, we went back to find our geyser not working and water was ice cold (otherwise it’s winter). I should however mention that this was fixed within 30 mins and before an hour mark after reporting the issue, we could shower with warm water. Room was clean and spotless, but maybe consider carpet deep cleaning in summer (atleast for the room we occupied).

The distance from reception
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, the staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean, their buffet has almost everything catering for each and everyone's needs. Everything was perfect. My friend and I enjoyed. Their chalets represents our diverse cultures. There are guides to give an indepth cultural experience and also performances. There's a variety of artwork.
There's nothing not to like.
This is rated as 3 star lodge but exceeded my expectations. A peaceful and relaxing environment, it was definitely worth the weekend getaway. The staff is very friendly and professional. , The rooms are clean and so is the lodge. The breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner on the night we arrived. It is within close proximity to activities in the hartbeespoort dam area.
There was no bottled water in the rooms...this however did not takeaway from the beautiful stay.
Breakfast was very nice
The dust road my suitcase was dirt
Great cultural activities.
WiFi only available in common areas.
The staff was all super friendly! And the breakfast was amazing!
We paid R270 for a dinner but weren’t told that it’s on condition that there were other guests too! So they dished up for us and served that instead. Also, when we tried to shower on the morning of checkout, we didn’t have water lol. Called reception and they just maintenance will switch it back on. Why was it switched off?? It took them a good 30 min to sort that out. The WiFi isn’t the best too, so don’t plan to do any work when you’re there
The staff were friendly , the place was clean and unique, value for money.
Nothing.
The area was tranquil with wildlife nearby
The villages don’t include Setswana although in the North West. Xitsonga, Tshivenda could also be considered since there are 3 nguni villages represented
Palesa the best receptionist ever
The attended us with such respect and urgency
I liked everything about this place..room was clean and the stuff was friendly. Enjoyed my stay.

We came in Winter and the place is extremely cold especially in the restaurant.
very nice facility to see and experience south african culture
The Cultural tour was very interesting and most enjoyable. THis was followed by a simple but delicious buffet dinner with African flavours. The breakfast the next morning was also very good with a good selection of cultural dishes on the buffet.
The Wifi could be improved.
I loved everything about it!
Allowing tourists to use flash on their camera during tours

Everything. Loved the tour, drums. Dance show. Fire 🔥 meals. The friendly stuff.
Nothing.
Great service and the food was great
When we checked in the room had a smell but after a while it went away I think it’s the carpert and maybe the room being cleaned than door closed.
The shrubbery and trees that surrounded us made the getaway feel so serene and appreciative of nature.
Service from the staff. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with toiletries and enough bath towels.
Noise from the shop in morning. Our room was behind the shop.
Value for money, a cultural experience, easy to access, aesthetically appealing.
WiFi signal is poor
It’s a true cultural experience
Convenience as it’s closer to the lion park

The place is such a lovely place if one wants to learn about different cultures in south africa and their history. The stuff is also amazing and very helpful.
The drain on the shower was not working and the hot and cold mixer for the water in the shower was not working, made the whole experience not nice
Food
Smelly carpets and stones floor In the shower
The place is very CUTEEE and serene 🥺 quiet and calming. The rooms are very cool, the remind me of home I would definitely stay here again We saw a late night cultural “show” if I can call it that , that too reminded me of home!
There was no hot water in mine and my friends room (S11) but luckily there were 6 of us so we used the showers in the guys rooms 😊
Loved the whole concept, the artwork was great, met the artist. Head chef and food great! Traditional dancing & show was great. The breakfasts were excellent and the CHEF, bless his heart was the most jovial and friendly person - he made this facility.
The staff was shocking. Receptionist made our stay a nightmare. The deluxe rooms are so dark, you almost feel your way around, not like photos! My Dad, 88, knee op battled on their rickety pathways, our room furtherest away, the Receptionist fought us about changing to front rooms, terrible treatment. They took our luggage to compound & delivered it 10 mins later. Booked 2 nights, huge mistake as there is NOTHING to do there, no pool, no gardens. They wouldn't refund our 2nd night if we wanted go cancel. No manager to speak to till last day. This huge potential place desperately needs to train their shocking staff. Scary being treated with such an entitled South African attitude. I have written 5 emails to Lesedi & head office, given them enough time to respond and refund me - NOTHING. I am posting the photos of DARK room and bathroom - NOTHING like their photos on the site. HANLIE LOMBARD, the date today is 14th MARCH 2026, you stated my payment was being PAID on 17th FEB!!!!! I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND FROM 6-8 FEB !!!! THAT IS 1.5 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!! CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!!!
