Reviewed Jun 20, 2026nice location with train station and shop very close by. All necessary things present in the kitchen. Comfortable beds.
Not very clean, dirty frying pan smelling fish was sitting in the oven. Not enough towels. The laundry detergent has very strong smell that stays with the bedclothes. Might be a serious issue for those with allergies.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026The location is very convenient for fast train access to Helsinki airport and also to Helsinki Centre - that was my main consideration when selecting this accommodation.
The online check-in was sent to me quite late while I was on the plane - I landed, filled in the form, heading to the apartment, but still didn't have the kex-codes. Needed to whatsapp the host, becasue apparetnly the messaging through Booking is not efficient enough. The shower had just 1 panel, but open on the other side - even though thre would be ample space in the bathroom to have a door to make a shower cubicle. Why hava a completely wet floow in the whole barthroom when this could be solved with a door panel on the shower. In the bathroom ther is not shelf to put your cosmetics etc, in the shower nowhere to put the tub for shower gel. The bed-linen was not ironed, totally crampled. These are little things - but quite easy to improve.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Siiisti asunto. Hyvä hiljainen ja hyvä sänky. Lähellä paljon kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Hyvät juna ja bussiyhteydet joka suuntaan. Paljon puhdistusaineita ja astioita.
Sisään kirjautuminen vaatii passista valokuvan ottoa, jos ensimmäinen kuva ei onnistu toista yritystä ei ole, mutta onneksi mikä vaan kuva kelpasi. Sama tilanne allekirjoituksen kanssa, aitä ei saa tehtyä kuin kerran ja kännykän näytölle ei mahdu kuin pari kirjainta. Oven avaus ohjeet tuntuivat ensin vaikeilta, mutta laiteet nähtyään asia selvisi.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Lähellä Tikkurilan asemaa; helppo löytää. Kommunikaatio todella hyvä. Tyynyvalikoimaa löytyi kaapista lisää.
Vähän vaikea älylukko asunnon ovessa, mutta ehkä esittelyvideo valmistumassa?!? Siisteys voisi olla vähän parempi ( muutama villakoira ja suihkun lasin alakumin voisi puhdistaa). Jääkaapissa entisten majoittujien elintarvikkeita. Astianpesukone täynnä puhtaita astioita; siivosin omat astiani.

Älylukon koodi ei avannutkaan ulko-ovea.Suosittelen ohjeen laittamista kuvallisena ja suomeksi, nyt oli vain englanniksi. Onneksi pääsimme ovesta sisään, talossa asuvan asukkaan avatessa oven.Sohva oli liian pehmeä ja kallistui taaksepäin,oli vaikea istua siinä.Sänky hyvä. Muuten kaikki asunnolla ok.

Only small things: old food in the fridge, remote controller had no batteries, apartment was clean but not behind the sofa. But I would definitely visit the apartment again

Vaatimattomasti varusteltu keittiö neljälle hengelle. Jääkaapissa oli vanhoja ruokia. Ryppyiset petivaatteet oli kasassa eteisessä. Pesukoneessa oli koneellinen likaista pyykkiä.

Було багато пилі під кріслом-кроваттю, коли ми розклади кроваті для 3 дорослих і 2 дітей, піднялася пилюка, мала дитина кашляла від цього всю ніч, спавши на кріслі-кроваті. Розкладна кровать не підходить для нормального спання, сильно скрипить, прогинається, я так і не зміг на ній заснути. Малі подушки.

It was almost unacceptable cleanness although I smelled HClO, so they cleaned. But sink had small food pieces. Also dusty. There is no blackout curtains.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2025The room was perfect 2 minutes walk from the train station, we stayed only one night but wish we could stay longer. The check-in was easy thanks to the owner detailed info. The room was clean and full equipped with everything, bed was already made for us. In the kitchen we found coffe for the morning. It is a perfect choice for everyone who wants to stay at Tikkurila.
There was no such thing, everything was super.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2024To be honest, I only spent 7 hours in the apartment, but from all I saw, it seemed a very nice place for a longer stay too. It was super well cleaned and well equipped. It has everything you need, really. I had to book it very late at night due to missing my connection after a delayed flight, and still the owner picked up my call close to midnight to explain how I would get in. It's a stone throw away from the railway station, and there are some shops right outside for groceries etc.
Everything was fine for me, but someone might need a hand towel in addition to the bath towel provided. Also, especially during the more light months, some drapes would help a lot since the blinds don't really block the light even from the street lights.

Reviewed Sep 24, 2024Comfortable, great communication from the host. Extremely clean and equipped for a short stay - good value. I used it as a base between the Airport and the national park. For very short stays it is great.
I liked pretty much everything. It was perhaps a little warm - but the weather was unseasonably warm! FYI the Wifi code is on a tiny sticker - this was the most marginal of challenges.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2024Owner sent info very late after I arrived when I did not have wi-fi to access it. A stranger called him for me and got the apartment information. Turns out he changed the apartment location at the last minute. But the door code did NOT work so we had to wait until someone came out. And then apartment door took several tries to open. No instructions on how to use a/c or blinds or washing machine or anything. Window was open when we arrived (no screen) and little bugs throughout the room. I texted when we went out (and I had wi-fi) but he never answered my text. Tenants said that short-term rentals were not allowed in their buildings??? I cannot recommend renting from him.

Reviewed May 12, 2024The location was very convenient, just 5 minutes from Tikkurila station. There is self check-in so you can arrive anytime and the studio was well equipped.
It was a bit dirty. The floor wasnt cleaned, I think there were even tiny pieces of broken glass, there were hair in the shower, the fridge smelled weird. I didn’t feel very good there because of this.
