The Rustic Jibhi - Backpackers Hostel

I had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Room had a nice view, staff were super helpful.

The rooms are spacious. The terrace has a good view but so do all the other properties in Jibhi and Shoja.

The three reception staff were all volunteers with no prior experience, who had been there for only a month. The property suffered from a severe water crunch; imagine not having a water supply in your washrooms, spray jets, or even the flush tanks! Furthermore, they do not change room or dorm bedsheets daily. It is an absolute nightmare for solo, couple, and family travelers. While they created a lot of hype on Instagram, the property does not meet expectations, nor does their cafe. Check-out was completely chaotic, with staff demanding extra money for fully paid services because they failed to keep track of what was actually paid.

One of the best locations Vijay being the grt host at property ..very welcoming ,beyond manager ,had grt fun. It was my first solo at the age of 40 and he made me familiar with few other solo travellers,had grt time in just a day.

The vibes. Very wanna be. Not a typical backpacking hostel moving at its own pace.

I loved the stay as the forms were clean and spacious and the common area has amazing views.

These people are amazing. Although my booking was cancelled by the manager due to some Technical issue but the place was very good and well Managed. Hope next time i get booking and get a chance to meet strangers and enjoy the brotherhood.

Poor Lighting, cleaning in the room. Lights keep on fluctuating in the room. Wifi not working in the room. Flies and mosquito were also moaning in the room. Water comes out from the washroom and the door mat outside the washroom gets slippery after getting drained, I fell on the floor due to this.

The Manager lena was helping.

Room was full of insects, washroom was all time wet as some tap was leaking.

You cannot check in early if you reach before check in time. You have to wait till 12pm atleast. You cannot get tea before 10:30 in the cafe.

Perfect spot with a youthful, laid-back vibe. I was solo traveling as a woman, it was family friendly too. I stayed in a dorm with super chill roommates. The best part was the mountain view from the bed every morning. River sound and mountain breeze ugh. It was unreal. I also walked down the mountain, through trails and reached the river and spent hours there too. Calming to the soul. Food situation is absolute ghar ka khana vibes. Comforting, and tasty. It was no drama. I would highly recommend their Dal makhni 🤌🏻 Coming to the staff, they're super fun. Helpful, and the owner goes out of his way to guide you if you need help. I asked so many questions about the area since this was my first time in Himchal Pradesh. And just really good energy all around. Well one more bonus point for the live music evenings.

This being an off-beat experience and property being located in the mountain village, do expect insects (spiders). I would not recommend this if you're seeking a 5-star hotel experince in Jibhi mountains.

As a solo female traveler, The Rustic Jibhi felt like a safe haven. The Caramel female dorm was clean, cozy, and secure. The team is super welcoming, always ready to help or just share a chai. Surrounded by nature, the vibe is calm yet social — perfect for unwinding or making new friends. The on-site café serves great food with epic sunset views. Highly recommend for solo women seeking peace, connection, and mountain magic!

The Rustic Jibhi is a great place! The food is amazing — I tried the pasta, lasagna, sizzler, and siddu, and everything tasted really good. Room was clean and felt very safe. The vibe is nice and chill, and the people are friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. Would totally recommend it!

Nice big comfortable room with an amazing view across the valley and a private balcony that received afternoon sun. Hot water and good internet. Definitely a pleasant base for a couple nights in Jibhi.

Rustic is like a home away from home.Leena will make you feel comfortable and would resolve all your queries.The location is apt and so is the food.The best thing about Rustic is the ART, it is so pretty that you can stare at it all day long..Great dorm and super clean washroom..Loved the stay.would definitely come back

The property is very convient and well connected with local as well as private transport. It was easy to find. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The supply of hot water is available at times. The food at the cafe was really good. As I was travelling solo, I found it very safe and comforting. The manager also helped me with travelling directions and some amazing travel suggestions around Jibhi and helped with the taxi bookings. The wifi connection is very strong, very good for working from there.

Good spacious rooms, clean washrooms and pleasant staff. I booked the 4 bed dorm and the rooms were very nice and beds clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved the ambience, the common stock was stocked up on games and hosts were so fun! The food was incredible - had pasta, coffee and parantha as well as dessert options. The female dorms were hygienic and spacious and it was amazing!

Staying at rustic was an incredible experience, the hosts were warm, welcoming. The house was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with graffities. The location was ideal—close enough to explore the city's attractions. In morning, a delicious breakfast was served, that were a treat for the taste buds. What stood out most was the personal attention the hosts provided. They offered insightful recommendations for off-the-beaten-path spots. I’ll definitely be back :)

The location is amazing as it is close to the jibhi market centre and has exceptional views . Moreover, it has an amazing cafe inhouse which is truly aesthetic and serves finger-licking food. Hospitality is top notch (specially all the good vibes coming from @Rohit , manager out there)

The best place to stay in Jibhi with the most beautiful views and most friendly staff. The food was tasty and hygienic. The toilets are clean. The property is very well maintained.

The property is spacious and just on the main road 200m before the main market. Also it has parking facilities which I wasn’t able to get in many properties in jibhi.

The main highway is undergoing construction so you can expect dust in entire jibhi when you step out
