Staff fab food great rooms clean

New restaurant looks like a tacky Swedish sauna.Beds way to high for smaller people to get on fell off trying to get on.

Location was good, staff were great, food was just ok

Stayed in Room 42. Room was clean, but the corridor had a strong damp smell and the overall finish wasn't what I expected for the price. The bar area is lovely and gave the impression the rooms would be to a higher standard. A bit disappointing.

even with a power cut and difficulties with equipment the staff did a wonderful job trying to keep breakfast going for everyone. great effort by the staff

Shower was full of mould and also no hot water, coffee machine was not working and the room smelt damp, very unhappy with my “executive suite” stay.

The new restaurant and bar are lovely and the spa and gym were also very smart and comfortable.

The staff in the restaurant seemed to forget about us during the evening meal but it was no big problem.

The standard of the hotel was high and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. The outside area was a great area to sit and enjoy either food or drink.

The breakfast buffet selection area was a bit on the limited side and in some cases run out, although there was a reasonable selection of choices for the cooked to order menu.

Breakfast dining is not at normal tables, with normal chairs.. it’s in the bar area, raised tables & chairs or comfy relaxing chairs, neither suitable for eating.

Room had a funny smell as if the previous occupant had been smoking. Couldn’t get rid of it.

Staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent, great choice, well presented, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Room was comfortable (although a little hot in the heatwave) but fans available to help cool the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The outlook from our rooms, 54 and 55, was lovely over the field. It had sheep with lambs and swallows flying over.

No lift to help my friend who had had a knee replacement.

Servicio de limpieza inaceptable y mala atención: No nos limpiaron la habitación ni nos cambiaron las toallas en toda la estancia. Al quejarnos en recepción, en lugar de disculparse, nos echaron la culpa a nosotros. Nos dijeron que al hacer el check-in no habíamos marcado la casilla de "SÍ" para la limpieza. Al dejarla en blanco (porque nadie nos advirtió de esta extraña política y asumes que la limpieza está incluida), el hotel da por hecho que no la quieres. Una gestión pésima y una atención al cliente soberbia. Cama demasiado pequeña: Sabíamos que la habitación era pequeña porque nos habían avisado, pero la cama era de 135 cm. Que la habitación sea pequeña no significa que la cama tenga que ser incómoda para dos personas; es algo que deberían especificar claramente. Problemas de logística (Solo una llave): Solo te entregan una llave por habitación. Como la puerta solo se puede cerrar pasando la llave, la logística es imposible si uno baja a desayunar y la otra persona se queda en la habitación o en el baño, la puerta se queda abierta.... Conclusión: Las instalaciones y el spa prometen, pero el servicio al cliente, la rigidez de sus normas ocultas y los detalles de comodidad dejan muchísimo que desear. No volvería.

It was cheap and cheerful. We we're over for a wedding near buy so it suited our needs.

Lovely, relaxed and clean. Bedrooms were spotless. Bar area very nice. Breakfast was good value.

Beds were a bit firm but everything else perfect.

We always stay at the Springfield and always have a great stay. The staff are always amazing, the beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is exceptional. The hotel is central to many locations.

Welcoming and friendly, clean and comfortable room, good food. We were especially impressed by Wendy on reception, who was very helpful with a garment left behind. She went to considerable trouble to arrange its return. Thank you!

Staff, room and customer service was superb

Our recent dining experience at the restaurant was far from enjoyable. My son and I visited for dinner, and we endured a 45-minute wait for our meal, which was quite remarkable. My son's mixed grill plate, priced at £30, featured a notably thin beef steak. While the chicken was satisfactory, the gammon was excessively salty, to the point where it was inedible even for me. The inclusion of black pudding for dinner also seemed an unusual choice. I opted for the crispy chicken burger; though the overall flavor profile was pleasant, the chicken itself was unfortunately burnt and quite dry. Ultimately, the question arises: was this meal worth £50? The unequivocal answer is no.

Unfortunately the room we were in you could hear the people upstairs walking around as the floor boards were really bad, also the actual bed was like a brick .

I like the health club and jacuzzi.

The location and the noise from the motorway. The bar could have been cleaner and the tables attended for empty glasses more often. The breakfast room is not the nicest

Restaurant food came out cold . Restaurant was empty but took over 40 mins for food to arrive. No toilet brush in hotel room bathroom . I have ulcerative colitis and need with my condition.

Our room was not 100% clean but we got moved to another room immediately. For the amount we paid everything is a little tired.

Brilliant hotel for the price. The spa/gym/ hot tub was a great bonus included in the price. The bar is great also

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. We slept well and enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and breakfast. Cosy bar area. All the staff were fantastic.

Sauna wasn't working which restricted the spa experience slightly.

Workmen clattering past the door at 7:30am. Although I believe that it would be a one-off while some works were going on in a nearby room. Otherwise the place was spot on!

Very disappointed with the breakfast for £12.95 I would’ve expected it to have been hot and it wasn’t apart from the sausage. Everything else was cold nobody around to actually complain too and as I wanted to spend what time I could in the spa before checking out I just left it but would not bother with breakfast again. The rest of the hotel is absolutely brilliant.

Always friendly staff and the Manager went out of his way to book us in (on an "unbooked" evening) when we arrived earlier than expected. The food is really really good and the beers on tap have something for every beer drinker. We had breakfast and dinner and a few other meals with family - all were great. Very handy to the North Wales area. The re-vamp is amazing and the room exceeded our expectations. Really comfy bed and decent shower pressure. Very good coffee! Would stay here again without hesitation.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was ideal for where we wanted to be.

The quality of breakfast was poor. Sound proofing is needed in the rooms as we could hear the person snoring next door. The ensuites need heated towel rails. In areas it looks a bit tired.
