I love the peace and quiet, no one bothers you

Stunning caravan had everything we needed, more than enough room for 6 adults. Quiet area. Nice relaxing weekend the lady who welcomed us was polite and went through everything, the hot tub was amazing could have stayed in there all weekend. Caravan had 2 bathrooms one with a shower and one with a bath which was useful.

The beds were quite firm and a few of us were uncomfortable but still managed to get to sleep

The location is perfect. It literally feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but everything is only a 5-10 minute drive away. It's so peaceful and relaxing and it was lovely to have all the geese and ducks walking around. The lodges are beautiful too and so spacious.

The only things I can 'complain' about is that one of the bedrooms had no handle on the door, just the hole where it should have been and the toilet roll holder was broke in one of the bathroons. It was on the wall but wasn't screwed on so, because we forgot each time, it came off when we reached for it, which was a bit annoying! lol

We stated at Addlethorpe last year in a 3 Bedroom Lodge but this time we upgraded to a 4 Bedroom Lodge to give us more space. The Lodge was very comfortable and ticked all the boxes and would recommend to anyone with a large family.

Comfortable,spacious and a lovely location especially if you want to relax after a day out.

No Dishwasher as wrongly listed by Booking.com. No information booklet in the lodge to explain how things worked i.e. the oven, microwave, tv's, electric fire, shower, hot hub plus how to segregate rubbish (Recycling / general waste). Also, no information given regarding the onsite restaurant i.e. times of serving and menus. In addition, no oven gloves or oven mitt supplied which would have been useful instead of having to use a tea towel.

Distance from there to ingoldmells and Skegness. A mile to nearest bus stop. Would benefit if they maybe put transport on for an extra charge to take to town especially guests who don't drive No nearby shops for basics like milk and bread etc. Think it would be good if the country club had a shop for the essentials until you can get out to get proper shopping when you 1st arrive. Double bed was uncomfortable and then I found that a slat was missing and one slat broken so reported to staff.

Loved the hot tub, the quietness. The staff Scott and Kerry were great couldn’t praise Scott enough.

The property could have been cleaned a little better but we didn’t let that bother us, the bed wasn’t comfortable at all but again we had a great time

Location to Skegness and Ingoldmells

Hot tub wasn't cleaned once over the 6 days we stayed , we left a day early and went to another hotel The chemicals were checked from time to time but a family of 6 using the hottub I'd of thought it would be been cleaed at least once within the y days we were there. The main toilet wasn't wirking for the first 4 days we were there, the master bedroom ensuite bathroom door handle was broke for a few days before repair, the whole frame of the door also needs secured as it was not level and off line. Lodge 2 is definitely not up to scratch. The Lodge was also dirty, and infested with flies. The fridge also would not hold its temperature, we were a family of 6 in a self catering lodge yet told we could only keep minimal food in fridge it order for it to work correctly. The location is great, the Lodge we stayed in not so much. We were so fed up with it we left for another hotel a day early.

Staff was very helpful, and lovely. Location is near to chapel, Ingoldmells fantasy island Skegness butlins farms market supermarkets everything you could need.very clean lodge and fantastic hot tub , and can also play a bit of golf and go in club house for food and drinks etc beautiful spot great site we've already booked for next year was amazing ❤️

It's beautiful and quite there wasn't much food when we went to have something to eat.. Delivery not turned up but very nice place would stay again if prices don't go through the roof.. It's a little out way to fanstasy island but a nice walk which we did 3 - 4 times daily staff lovely facilities great enjoyed it thanks

The location was perfect for us to get to the main attractions. The site was tranquil and relaxed. The hot tub was a great feature after a long day on the beach and visiting all the attractions around Skegness and Ingoldmells.

Nothing really if you start adding entertainment and arcades etc... it changes the whole point of the relaxed getting away from it all site. Maybe a few pint glasses in the accommodation would help as the glasses were very small.

Good size lodge with a large living area, two bathrooms, hot tub. The location is brilliant and much quieter than any caravan park in the area, being at the edge of a golf course. One of the best sized kitchens we’ve had with a full sized fridge freezer like you have at home, as well as a 5 burner hob, microwave, grill and oven. Big tele and internet worked without any issues. Staff really welcoming. Check in was very straightforward and everything explained well. Recycling/Bins a bit confusing. We separated our waste but it all ended up going into the same biffa bin. Parking with car charger included.

Advertised as having a washing machine so we packed our clothes accordingly. When we enquired about where the washing machine was, we were told that “3 of the vans had washing machines, 3 of them dishwashers”. Ended up buying some new clothes from town. There was a horrible smell in the kitchen which took us a couple of days to locate the source of - the bottom of the dishwasher (that we hadn’t used) was full of brown water. We put it on wash cycle, empty, and the smell went. Towels were not changed during our 7 day stay. Had the above issues not existed it would have been 10/10.

Booking.com said I could check in at 3 but wasn't ready until 4ish but they kept us updated and apologised, but thats me stretching. Was a great stay!

I am submitting this complaint regarding our recent stay at Addlethorpe Golf Course, who informed us that any request for compensation or a refund would need to be made directly through Booking.com. Unfortunately, our holiday fell well below the standard we expected, particularly given the amount we paid for what was our only full family holiday this year. Upon arrival, the lodge had a strong and overwhelming sewage smell, particularly in the master bedroom. We immediately contacted the lodge management, who advised that the shower drain trap was missing and confirmed they were already aware of the smell. They also explained that the drainage pipework is apparently running out of plumb, causing stagnant water to collect, which was contributing to the unpleasant odour. The shower trap was replaced during our stay; however, this then caused the shower to flood whenever it was used. We had to continually adjust the drain ourselves after each shower, and we resorted to bleaching the drains daily just to reduce the smell throughout the bedroom. We also found mouse droppings in the master bedroom drawer. We also experienced a significant plumbing issue where the taps made an extremely loud hammering noise whenever they were used or when the toilet was flushed. We again contacted lodge management, who had to arrange for a plumber to attend and repair the fault. The noise was so loud that it woke our children on several occasions, causing further disruption to what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday. In addition, the hob igniter was not working, meaning we had to purchase a lighter ourselves simply to use the cooker. The cleanliness of the lodge was also disappointing. There was visible dust on top of the bedside lamps and headboard, and there was mould around the bathroom fittings, which gave the impression that the lodge had not been properly cleaned or maintained before our arrival.

The whole enviroment is lovely and peaceful. Nice little golf course and driving ranch ideal to go and use the facilities. The clubhouse is lovely and inviting nice friendly staff and the sunday roast is to die for highly recommend it to anyone to try

Not a lot to be honest.

It was very dirty. The outside veranda windows were filthy. The hot tub had hair balls and debris in it from previous people staying there. The inside the carpet is worn and dirty. The sofa was covered in stains. My main issue was the double mattress i couldnt even sleep on it it needs replacing there are springs sticking out and completley sunk when sitting on it pillows paper thin. I couldnt sleep i ended up leaving 2 days early as the single mattresses are no better. Dirty cutlery and dishes. Strong sewage smell outside. Not much to look at it was in a empty field of caravan plots not on the golf course like it makes out no nice views. I paid over £800 to stay here for 4 days and left 2 days early the accommodation refused to refund me any money. Not good enough for the price you pay to stay here be aware! Please take pictures the next person that stays there i should have!

The location was so quiet and peaceful and was a good central point to visit all the local areas and beaches

The positioning of our actual lodge was right next to the sewage area and we couldn’t sit outside or spend a lot of time in the hot tub due to the smell. There were a few issues such as a shower that had no cold water so scalded my daughter and no TV remote in the main bedroom but other than that it was a very comfortable stay

Very clean upon arrival, great facilities and a great view of the golf course and the lake with the geese/ducks, kids really enjoyed it and didn’t want to leave the hot tub, great value for money.

A lack of towels and Internet

Almost don't want to write a review for this one because we want to keep it on the down low. This place is a hidden gem. I think we struck lucky as we had the Muirfield lodge which looks to be the biggest but it was brilliant. So much storage. So spacious. Huge sofa. Comfy beds with larger bedrooms than a normal caravan. We had a full bath in the main bathroom and a shower in the en suite. Washing machine in the hallway (yes there is a small hallway). The storage was perfect. Huge sideboard in the lounge. The peninsula with breakfast bar stools was a hit with our kids. Set on a golf resort so other than the clubhouse, there are no facilities. Our lodge was right on a tee and we enjoyed watching the golfers. The site has lots of open water so might not be ideal for little ones who like to run off. Lots of ducks and geese. Parking right next to the lodge. Hot tub was great and was checked numerous times during our stay. We were able to turn it down so our children could have a dip. We went to the sister site for the kids entertainment one night which they enjoyed.

It wasn't quite as clean as we would have liked. The corners needed some TLC and the windows. Overall it was OK but it definitely needed someone to get on their hands and knees and do a good scrub in places. It wasn't that well equipped. It was clearly owned by Coastfields rather than individuals as there wasn't a lot included. Only the bare minimum of everything in drawers etc. I think when booking through here, it is hard to tell which lodge you will get. I think we just lucked out in getting a larger one. You may be able to ring coastfields once you have booked and ask. There are no facilities. We liked it this way as it was quiet but it might not suit everyone. Struggling for negatives. We loved it.

Spacious home, three bedroom comfortable bed, very clean, hot tub amazing. Staff amazing, and located in a beautiful golf course. We really enjoyed our time there. Great patio views, great kitchen and lounge area. Couldn’t find a fault to report, we thought it was great. And would thank the staff at the country club also, great holiday away for a week an could have stayed 2. Loads of ducks and geese , water birds was a class holiday .

Good job I take cleaning products as it wasnt clean, pervious guest food and drinks marks in kitchen, hairs in bathroom, smelly bathroom that made the lodge smell, stains on pillows in living room, no protectors on beds or pillows, hottub needs an extra fence to make it private, kitchen tap broken, dirty blinds and webbs everywhere House keeping clearly just go and change beds and dont actually clean the lodge. If they did it would be better

Great location, lodge was clean, tidy, spacious and excellent value for money. Lovely views out onto the golf course Hot tub was great and also cleaned/maintained every day. Didn't get the chance to play on the golf course but prices seemed very reasonable and course looked in good condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful when dealing with enquiries about the golf, accomodation or at the clubhouse.

Did not get the robes and slippers we had the year before for the hot tub, although this was a bonus last year so no real complaint.

It wasn't overly clean, low on utensils and no iron, yet had an ironing board. Says no stag or hen dos(probably for noise reasons) which is a good thing, yet we had 4 people next to us , drunk,shouting and screaming all evening until 3am, music blaring from 3pm until 3am, so we didnt get much peace at all and couldn't use the balcony much because of this.

Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and loved having a bath in. There was milk in the fridge, washing up liquid and complementary products in the bathroom. The hot tub was brilliant. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

I was surprised that there were no mattress protectors or pillow protectors on, though. Also, on the facilities, it did say that there were robes, but we didn't have any. This didn't stop us enjoying the hot tub, though.

After 4 previous stays here we were extremely disappointed with how this place had gone down hill and came home early due to the cleanliness of the lodge and the facilities. We arrived Monday to a lodge which had not been cleaned with pizza all over the kitchen floor, the door had been smashed off its hinges in the kitchen into the bedrooms, only a potato masher as utensils (no spatulas, etc.) and a frying pan which looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it opened in March. There was Ketchup all over the Virender the lodge itself with disgusting but after a 3 hour journey we decided to stay and clean the place ourselves. The hot-tub had clearly also not been cleaned since previous use with what looked like Fake tan all stuck to the sides and it looked very cloudy you could not see the bottom of the hot tub by Wednesday so was unusable. we carried on our stay until Wednesday where we found a blue tablet on the floor which had not been hoovered up (as it had clearly not been hoovered) which we can only imagine what would have happened if we had our young grand daughter with us. The TV wouldn't work at all due to there been no signal so we was unable to watch the England game. on Wednesday night we made the decision we was coming home and on Thursday morning went to reception to be welcomed by a lady who wasn't interested in the slightest in the issues. We will not be returning!

Location was lovely, very peaceful and a beautiful golf course.

Unfortunately there were many aspects to our stay which let it down. The fridge failed in the Friday night with it reading 22c at midnight with all of our shopping including fresh meat so this was then not safe to eat so what a waste of £60 of shopping!! The freezer was reading 9c and all of our ice had melted! There’s no out of hours number to call other than security who couldn’t do anything about the fridge to rectify the issue. When anyone flushed a toilet or had a shower it created a very loud noise in the kitchen and caused the kitchen tap to constantly run water. Not ideal if you don’t want to wake anyone else up as this noise was so loud it woke everyone up! We then went to reception the next day to be greeted with it stating it was closed and again no one to discuss these issues with. There are no mattress protectors on the beds, which should be a basic thing you have. We had holes in the sheets. The nails on the bit in between bedrooms were sticking up so much so one of us cut our foot! The table was covered in green moss and stain our clothes if you caught it. The ignition on the job didn’t work so you couldn’t use this. It’s advertised on the roadside outside the park they show the World Cup games, we went up to the club house at 9.30 ready for the 10pm game to be met with the whole place in darkness and closed. Why advertise showing it if you’re going to close?? There are many more issues than I have stated above and I have listed all of these and will take them up with the site owners/booking.com as there are so many to mention.

We have just got home after an amazing stay at this park. Upon arriving, we went into the clubhouse and collected our keys. These were ready not only a few hours before check in, but the man who was on the bar sat down with us and provided us with all the information that we needed. He left us with no questions to ask! He even stated we could use facilities on the main park included in our stay such as the pool, bars etc which was a lovely surprise. Unfortunately we did not get to do this but it is nice to know for next time. We checked in and were shocked at how lovely our lodge was. It overlooked fields as far as the eye could see and had a spacious hot tub. The manager mentioned due to hot weather we could add cold water to this if we needed after I asked whether this would be okay. No issue at all. The site itself was peaceful, tranquil and full of wildlife. Waking up and being able to spectate golfers was also lovely. The location of this park is amazing. Ingoldmells beach 7 minutes away and skegness a 15 minute drive. Nearby large supermarkets also so it was easy to find somewhere to do our shopping. The only downside I would say was that the shower runner was broken and the shower hose was rusty, the blind was broken in one bedroom, the en suite shower room door wouldnt shut and the lodge was not cleaned as thorough as expected. Despite this everything was above expectation and with the amount of caravans/lodges the cleaner has to clean, this was understandable. In the lodge we had a little teatowel with a paper 'enjoy your stay' printed paper around it. Upon opening this some mini washing up liquid fell out, a sponge and a cloth fell out which was a great and thoughtful touch. The only thing is that in this we had dishwasher tablets also and on the booking it was mentioned in the description that we had a dishwasher and this was not the case, however we did have a washing machine which was lovely to have.

The lodges are really spacious and on a lovely, very peaceful site, and the hot tub was great. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back again.

Spoilt only by the cleanliness. Had to wash crockery, etc, before using. Very dusty and dirty windows. We have stayed before and seriously wonder if this time they maybe forgot this lodge.

Driving range was a good price. The hot tub was very nice and was all ready for us when we arrived.

Its a beautiful well kept site. The lodges are spacious, modern and clean.

Not much to dislike although it would have been better having the hottub on the decking.

The peace and quiet and the staff were great to deal with.

The caravan looks amazing, but things did not work, like the hoover and the dishwasher. We had to borrow the hoover from the club house and we had at one point 4 people in the caravan trying to fix the dishwasher. The fridge was turned up, so we had to manually change that to keep the food cold. Please do not open up the settee bed, you won't like the condition of that, I found a blood stain. Also the spare quilt had 2 stains on it when we pulled it out for the sofa bed. But the Jacuzzi made up for it and the relaxing atmosphere.

From start to finish the whole time we was there everything was in good swing, great location, peaceful at night and every morning, morning golfers very friendly. Even put both parties of our family right next door to each other. brilliant place to stay

The only thing that put the most slightest downside to this stay was we didn’t seem to have a frying pan but, as we were staying as a big family, family members were right next to us and used theirs

Excellent value for money, staff welcoming and friendly. This was our second visit and we have already booked the 3rd, looking forward to September 😀
