Reviewed Mar 27, 2026The location is about 12 mins walk from the Rovaniemi bus station and 18 mins walk to the city centre. I liked how rustic and peaceful this place is. The house itself was built in the 50s and a lot of work was done to make it nice and comfortable. The kitchen is massive, the toilet is separate to the bathroom. It has laundry machine with drying area.
I found the bathroom in downstairs was a bit strange. Also, it's a cold area to be in.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026The location is great, 20 minute walk to Angry bird park and 23 minute walk to the city centre, There is a large Kmarket supermarket about a 10 minute walk away. Lovely quite neighbourhood, Great size garden my children enjoyed playing out there. This home has everything you need, The beds are very comftable.. there is roller blinds around the property we didnt notice until the day we was leaving so we only used the voile curtains so dont make the mistake did. The host is great, has fab communication and very helpful... We have really enjoyed it here, will certainly visit again in the future. Such a beautiful home with a fab location what else could you ask for.

Taneli muito simpático e atencioso, tendo preparado um guia/instruções para acesso à casa que facilita muito. Casa de traça antiga, muito bem cuidada e localizada num bairro muito sossegado. Tem uma colina perto, excelente para as crianças brincarem com trenó!
Duche localizado na cave.

(I went to by bus.) * Warm house, lovely interior, clean kitchen. I arrived on a cold October night. * The basement & nice rooms. I could have them to all myself. * Everything is nice & clean!! * The host was so kind. He answered my questions quickly. 🌲-----------------------🌲-----------------------🌲 I really really recommend this apartment. 😊 So comfortable lovely rooms. Thank you so much, Taneli. I spent the memorable days in Rovaniemi. 🇫🇮

Location waa ideal a short walk through residential area to town center, supermarket 5min walk away, all so close and easy to walk with our two kids. Fantastic home, I use home because it felt like a home away from home. Very clean, everything we needed and so spacious for the four of us. A great place to relax after busy days. So happy we picked this spot!

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025Ottima posizione, vicino al centro, a 10 min dall aeroporto, a 300m dalla stazione. Host sempre super disponibile. Visto che il check in è previsto per le 17, ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli nel portico. Stessa cosa dopo il check out. La casa è pulitissima e ordinata, ben riscaldata.
L'unica pecca è che la doccia si trova nel piano sotterraneo e fa un po' freddo.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2025Nice wooden house, well equipped kitchen. It is possible to catch Aurora lights just in front of the house without going anywhere or taking tours.
The house was not warm enough even with all radiators on. The shower was not convenient to use being on the lower floor.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2024Fantastic place to stay while visiting Rovaniemi. Would recommend it! Friendly, helpful host, comfortable, clean and warm. Well set up for a holiday. Wonderful to have bikes to use. Good location for access to city centre and shops and buses. Beautiful and quiet location
We needed some towels in the kitchen for drying our hands and dishes but we got some here to use. A dresser in the bedroom would have been useful and helpful
