1-Bed Apartment Near Nenagh & Lough Derg

My stay here was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property was clean, spacious and well equipped with a nice outdoor space to enjoy your food, a coffee or just chill out with a book. The bed was comfortable, in fact I would happily of overslept every morning if I hadn't set my alarm, yet at home I'm awake before my alarm every day. Lighting was really good, the ceiling lights were bright with plenty of lamps should you wish for softer lighting. A really good size properly with spacious kitchen should you want to cook The owners were amazing and so friendly/helpful. Due to a change in plans my arrival changed to 1:30am so some lights and heating were left on and 2 delicious cupcakes left for me. On arrival after work the following day I had a chat with the owner, met their 2 beautiful dogs and was informed hanging on the front door of my accomodation was a bag with 2 more cupcakes his wife had brought home (she owns a cafe in town). I honestly couldn't have asked for better hosts. I was here on a course for work so didn't spend much time at the property but will hopefully be back next summer with my wife. Truly an amazing experience.

Absolutely fabulous apartment, so comfortable and well equipped our hosts had thought of everything to make us feel at home, including an incredible array of food, such warm and generous folks. The gardens surrounding the property were gorgeous and extensive. We would love to come back.

Set in beautiful surroundings , a self contained apartment with everything you could need. Roger the host is brilliant. When you arrive the fridge is stocked with milk, cheese and loads of other food. Fresh rolls and scones are provided from Roger’s wife’s (Grainne) cafe as well as other treats. The apartment itself is immaculate and very comfortable. This is a gem of a find. If you get the chance then book it, you won’t be disappointed. Dog friendly as well.

A beautiful, quiet location, friendly and welcoming hosts. Bonus of baked goods which were greatly appreciated after our days in the mountains! We'd definitely return for another visit.

Beautiful modern 1 bed apartment close to Nenagh town. It was so convenient that check in is allowed from 1pm and we were delighted that it was dog friendly and our little Yorkshire terrier loved the place and the beautiful gardens surrounding the main house. The owners also have 3 gorgeous friendly dogs. It was an extremely good value stay in such a gorgeous apartment and fabulous grounds. Nenagh town centre is just 5km away on probably the straightest stretch of good road I ever travelled on and the castle is well worth a visit. First class furniture and fittings throughout and the apartment had everything that one could possibly need. Huge wide screen TV with Netflix, Apple TV etc.  Excellent electric cooker with grill and oven and a huge range of cooking utensils. The milk, cereal, home made granola, eggs, cheese, scones, chocolate bars, yoghurt etc kindly provided by the hosts were greatly appreciated.  Even better were the amazing muffins and cheese cake that our host Roger kindly gave us from the family restaurant 'The Pantry Cafe' in Nenagh which were to die for! Good sized bathroom with excellent shower, loads of towels and good quality shampoos and shower gels etc. The apartment and bedroom were really clean with very comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities which included a superb Delonghi capsule coffee machine with a full range of capsules including decaf if that's your thing! Superb value accomodation in beautiful countryside location. Highly recommended!

The apartment was decorated with Christmas 🎄 and candles also our host and his family were very friendly they had left food wine beer's and beautiful home made bread also cakes and lots of treats for us myself and my wife will definitely be staying in this beautiful apartment again also the driveway and the garden was all lit up for Christmas and the whole experience was so peaceful and I would give this accommodation 5 stars +++ it is 100% the best place to stay ,so thank you very much to our host and his family, David and Rosie from Mountmellick. 26 /12/24.
