Das Management ist super freundlich, äußerst engagiert und bemüht. Auch nach Abreise wurde Unterstützung für die weitere Zeit in Vietnam angeboten. Der Blick in die Natur, ob vom Balkon oder Pool, ist wunderschön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und der Stil einzigartig.

In Anbetracht der Größe war das Zimmer leider wenig funktional. Weitere Regale, Kleiderstangen und Kleiderbügel sind nötig. Ein paar Pflanzen würden für Atmosphäre sorgen. Der Naturpool müsste etwas überarbeitet und mehr gepflegt werden. Es ist nicht ersichtlich, wann Stufen enden, einzelne Platten sind brüchig und Algen lagern sich ab. Die Anlage um den Pool herum, ob Restaurant oder Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, wirkt abseits der Begrünung sehr kühl und strahlt wenig Atmosphäre zum Verweilen aus. In Anbetracht der Lage bietet das Menü des Restaurants deutlich zu wenig Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer. Auch die Getränke bieten wenig Variation und Ideenreichtum. Desserts sind nicht vorhanden. Da das Personal kaum bis kein Englisch spricht und versteht, sollte eine ausreichende Einführung beim Check-In gegeben werden. Wo und wie findet das Frühstück statt? Wo ist das Restaurant und wann sind die Betriebszeiten? Möglichkeiten für Spaziergänge und Ausflüge, um die Gegend zu erkunden? Ist ein Wäscheservice nutzbar? ...

Hôtel qui nous a beaucoup séduit, de par la taille restreinte de l'établissement, le service particulièrement attentionné et professionnel, et de la vue exceptionnelle depuis notre bengalow ; la piscine et un petit déjeuner copieux et varié complète le charme de cet établissement. Nous avions l'intention d'y rester 1 nuit, mais au regard de la qualité de l'établissement nous avons ajouté une nuit supplémentaire. Nous y reviendrons c'est sûr !

Ontzettend grote kamer (de grootste tijdens onze reis in Vietnam) met zowel binnen als buiten een fijn zitje. Geweldig uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Heerlijk groot bed dat erg goed sliep. Fijn zitbad met voldoende warm water om het goed te vullen. Ontzettend aardige receptionist die feedback serieus neemt.

De staat en het onderhoud van de faciliteiten viel tegen: het zwembad was erg groen/niet goed schoongemaakt en de ligbedden vielen van ellende uit elkaar. Het ontbijt was te karig voor de prijs. De ontbijtruimte was vrij smerig.

un piccolo paradiso! sono stata benissimo, e questo non dipende ne' dalla camera (per altro confortevole, spaziosa e pulita), ne' dal ristorante (per altro assolutamente non male), ma dell'atmostera che si respirava. personale gentilissimo e disponibile, sempre pronti a regalare un sorriso. Pochissimi turisti, quindi abbiamo potuto godere del silenzio e dei suoni della natura. Un amico che ha viaggiato con me ha usufruito della spa e ne è uscito entusiasta!

Assolutamente negativa l’esperienza con il massaggio nella SPA

Wir hatten einen dieser wunderschönen Bungalow mit einer Terrasse mit Blick auf die Teefelder in die Natur. Umgeben von der wunderschönen Natur. Gleich an zwei Tagen hatten wir dort die Massagen auch mit der ganzen Familie was in unserem gesamten dreiwöchigen Vietnam Urlaub mit Abstand auch die beste Massage war. Frühstück und Essen sind hervorragend. Wir hatten Motorräder für einen Tag gemietet, mit denen wir die Gegend erkundet haben, was einfach nur fabelhaft war. Das ganze Personal war so hilfsbereit, wie als wenn man zu einer Familie gehört. Gut fand ich auch, dass der R Isenpool nicht chemisch geklaut ist, sondern Frischwasserzufuhr hat, was das Baden sehr angenehm machte. Vom Pool hat man einen gigantischen Blick schön war auch, dass die Bahn noch abends sehr lange offen hatte (einzige Anregung auch Wein im Glasausschank). Dafür gab’s aber Cocktails und die gigantischen, frisch gepressten Fruchtsäfte. Das Frühstück war sehr, sehr gut mit vielen frischen, lokalen Früchten und Produkten.

Wir haben wirklich keinen Punkt gefunden, der uns nicht gefallen hat, außer dass wir zu kurz da waren.

Klimatyczny bungalow, z pięknym widokiem. Fajny basen z którego także widok jest przepiękny. Bardzo dobra kuchnia! No i obsługa, niesamowicie miła i zaangażowana. Zorganizowali nam wycieczkę do Mu Cang Chai, która była wprost genialna! Generalnie cisza i spokój, idealnie spędzone parę dni po „głośnych” dniach w Ha Noi…

We had a wonderful experience at Muong Lo. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The swimming pool offers a stunning view and is very quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind. We also had the chance to walk around the local market and explore the daily life of the local people, which was a very interesting and authentic experience. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They took great care of us and kindly helped arrange transportation for our return trip to Hanoi, which made our journey much easier. Thank you very much to the entire team at Muong Lo Retreat for your hospitality. We would be happy to return in the future. ❤️

The only thing I regret is staying for just one night.There are many interesting places to visit around the retreat, most within 6–15 km, and I wish I had more time to explore them

Es gab ein paar Verständnisprobleme, was aber mit Google Translate und aufgrund der Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber nicht weiter schlimm war 😊 Das Pool konnten wir leider nicht benutzen, weil es dann doch sehr trüb war. Das Essen war ok, wir haben aber auch nicht viel bestellt. Andernfalls gab es nichts an der Anlage zu bemängeln!

Très bel hôtel, idéal pour se reposer. Même si l’emplacement est un peu à l’écart de tout, c’est justement ce qui rend le séjour si reposant. Après quelques jours à Hanoï, ça fait vraiment du bien de retrouver le calme et de pouvoir se détendre. Le personnel est très à l’écoute, toujours prêt à aider et vraiment attentionné.

Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de petites balades organisées autour du site, mais ce n’est pas très important car la piscine permet de parfaitement profiter du séjour.

Tout ici est Calme, Harmonie et Exception Il s’agit peut être là de notre plus bel hébergement au Viet Nam. Tout cela à un tarif incroyablement mesuré. We loved absolutely everything! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The room was beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. A special highlight was the bathtub with a view — it was absolutely amazing and one of the best parts of our stay. The views from the hotel are stunning, and the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing, especially in the morning. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves, and the level of service was still outstanding. The pool with a view is also wonderful. The food was great — we really enjoyed the delicious dinner and the breakfast was very good as well. Truly a 10/10 experience.

Muong Lo Retreat is an outstanding destination , and one of the most beautiful and enjoyable places we have stayed on our visit to Northern VietNam. The bungalow with two large comfortable beds was spotlessly clean and the shower was also the best with lots of hot water and stunning views from the big windows. The staff, led by manager Loan, is outstanding. They smile all the time and work hard to provide outstanding service. Food was also wonderful. The surprise for us was the many things to do in the area. A day trip to a Hmong village to learn about tea production, taste various local teas, see the 800 year old trees and meet a local family was fascinating. There are local mineral springs, miles of tea and rice fields to view and areas to bike. When you want to relax, the stunning infinity pool offers a lovely peaceful vibe. We stayed 4 nights and were really glad we did. It will be a highlight of our travels. Highly recommend.

Site et bungalows magnifique. Loan s’est très bien occupée de nous. Les séances de massages sont exceptionnelles ! Nous avons passé 1 nuit apaisante et relaxante dans cet établissement.

Séjour absolument parfait ! Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et attentionné. L’établissement est de grande qualité, les chambres sont très spacieuses, confortables et offrent une magnifique vue depuis la terrasse. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux, varié et très savoureux. Nous avons aussi adoré la visite des plantations de thé proposée sur place — un moment dépaysant.

Un petit souci est survenu durant notre séjour, mais je tiens à souligner que l’équipe a su le gérer avec beaucoup de professionnalisme. Un immense merci en particulier à Loan, pour sa gentillesse et sa réactivité. Grâce à elle, ce contretemps n’a en rien entaché notre expérience, et je laisse sans hésitation la note maximale de 10.

Heel fijne plek. Hartelijke ontvangst. Bungalows gelegen in een mooi onderhouden weelderige tuin met prachtige bloemen. Rustig gelegen, maar toch op 5’ van het centrum (per taxi), mooie schone kamer, prachtig uitzicht over de theeplantages. Heerlijk eten, dat op verzoek vlot wordt aangepast voor vegetariërs. Mooi zwembad. Perfecte plek om in Vietnam aan te komen. Mogelijkheid tot interessante bezoeken in de omgeving, voor ons werd een taxi geregeld naar Suoi Giang, een theeplantage met 500 jaar oude theebomen. Daar sprak niemand Engels, zoals overal in de omgeving, een volgende keer zouden we een Engelstalige gids regelen. In het hotel is wel altijd minstens 1 persoon aanwezig die Engels praat. Iedereen is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vooral de beide vrouwelijke verantwoordelijken, die Engels praten. Dankzij hen is een verblijf hier een fantastische ervaring.

We have a great time chilling at the balcony at night without worrying about mosquito They have a new sauna area but unlucky we didn't have the chance to try out yet

Construction with noise and chemical smells right next to pool. This disqualifies it as a "retreat". I came to relax a bit, but that was the wrong place for it. Staff was super helpful and flexible and adjusted my booking. For a place that calls itself a Retreat there needs to be more focus on relaxation, especially by the pool. It should be quiet and more comfortable pool furniture provided.

Bath tub in the room with a view was glorious. Beds were comfy and huge. Gorgeous location.

There was karaoke in the afternoon which wasn’t in keeping with the retreat feeling but it didn’t last too long.

It is really nice and luxury resort that we really enjoyed on our trip. The hotel arranged us 2 trips for our 3 nights stay. We went to see Mu Chan Chai rice field terrace for entire day with motorbike trip and then about 7km hiking.and bamboo forest. Extremely nice trip, really happy full of memories and nice pictures. Another trip was to hot springs, local market in Nghia Lol highly recommend. We have also enjoyed the resort as well as the fact that this is no tourist area so the crew gave us really a lot attention so we enjoy every moment. I did feel like VIP person.

can not believe that have a such beautifull place like this in Yen Bai. Maybe have the best restaurant in town, also have the football mini stadium and you can enjoy the match by local peoples

The pictures online were amazing, and the in person experience not only lived up to what was shown online but far exceeded any expectations! Everyone who worked at the resort was so helpful, kind, and made us feel at home! The rooms are very private, peaceful and very clean! Add to that the most stunning view of the Nghia Lo valley and surrounding mountains. ALL of the meals we had were exceptional. Huge portions of the most delicious food imaginable! 10/10 stay, which I would highly recommend to any and all!

Beautiful hotel, very new (according to the reception, they only run for a year). The pool is amazing with great view, the room was super, with comfy bed, big and a shower in front of the hotel's awesome open view

The food was okay. Not bad, but I can't say it was the best we had in Vietnam. With that being said, based on other recommendations of other hotels in the area, it was way better than we expected. In addition, they do not accept credit card, so make sure you have enough cash

We had a wonderful experience at Muong Lo Retreat and couldn't complain. A few searches will reveal that the prices here are some of the highest in the area, but the stay will prove that it's worth it. The location, the room, the food, the staff, everything was up to high standards, especially the friendly staff team that go above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience there. We booked our vacation in a pinch due to our work schedule, so we didn't have a lot of preparation and research before our trip. The friendly staff was very willing to give us a detailed review on the local cuisines and where to get them, locations for hot spring + comparisons between the big names, advices on how to get to the villages around the area + how accessible they were (we wanted to go sightseeing and take pictures). Muong Lo Retreat offers quite the diverse menu at their restaurant. The staff helped us with recommendation for what goes well together, what was in season. We only had 2 people so they even adjusted the proportion (with the price) from the original menu to ensure we got to try most of what they offered. The location being near the town center also means that you have plenty of options for driving around in whichever direction, plus you don't have to worry about the noises from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, no complaints. They charge good money for their services, but they back it up with quality. Oh and they just finished their new soccer field if you're into that :))))))) free for guests (we think)
