Trouville Bed & Breakfast

Besonders gefallen hat uns die sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und das tolle Frühstück jeden Morgen. Auch die Kommunikation lief sehr unkompliziert.

Eine sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Zugang zum sehr gepflegten Garten, in dem man gemütlich sitzen konnte. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die ausgesprochen freundliche Gastgeberin Majken hat regelmäßig nach unseren Wünschen gefragt und ein sehr vielfältiges, leckeres Frühstück gezaubert. Die Lage der Unterkunft war ruhig, aber zentral zum Ort, zum Strand und zum Bahnhof. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit an sie wenden. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir möchten uns für unseren sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt bedanken.

The Trouville B&B was exceptionally good and Majken was an outstanding host. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious with French doors leading to a patio and the garden with comfortable garden furniture. The breakfast was delicious - home made bread and croissants, cheese, cold meats, fruit and salad with juice.

I really could not fault this property - it was perfect.

Det kändes så bekvämt, det låg i en fin by vid havet och vi blev så väl omhändertagna av ägarinnan. Frukosten var otrolig! Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Det enda tråkiga var att vi var tvungna att åka hem. Hade kunnat stanna längre!

Det var otroligt fint och rent! Underbar miljö och nära till stranden!

Personligt mottagande, vänlig värdinna, underbart lugnt och mysigt ställe med lummig trädgård. 10 min gångväg till allt, strand, butiker och restauranger. Hur kommer vi återvända!

Ett fantastiskt boende i fin miljö. Mycket god frukost och tillgång till kylskåp. Mycket fin uteplats.

Endroit charmant! Très confortable … et calme. La maîtresse de maison est très gentille, elle nous a conseillé et même réservé un excellent restaurant pour le soir de notre arrivée. Elle nous a donné de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est servi avec soin, varie et plein de bonnes choses à manger. Lits vraiment top! Chambre spacieuse… et bien décorée. Rien ne manque! Tout parfait! Juste envie d’y retourner.

Deux « petits, tout petits » bémols qui ne retirent rien au charme et à la qualité. La porte fenêtre de notre chambre donnait sur le jardin, nous avions envie de la laisser ouverte pour dormir mais, pas moyen de la basculer, on a donc dormi fenêtre ouverte (la climatisation est possible sinon). La chambre est indiqué « avec salle de bain », c’est effectivement le cas mais il fallait sortir dans le couloir pour arriver à notre salle de bain privé. Heureusement on a croisé personne! À préciser au moment de votre réservation et éviter la 4!

Wat was het fijn om hier twee nachten te logeren: rustige plek, onberispelijke service, vreselijk schoon, heerlijk bed, op loopafstand van het strand en het dorpje én dan ook nog eens dankzij het fantastische weer heerlijk in de tuin kunnen ontbijten. Majken bedankt voor alles: we waarderen jou en jouw mooie B&B ontzettend!

Gastgeberin Majken war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück war sensationell! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten sehr gepflegt. Die Unterkunft ist auf alle Fälle weiterzuempfehlen!

Gångavstånd till stranden. Mycket välkomnande värdinna och som gärna bistod med goda råd.

Kanske lite enklare än vad vi normalt bokar…

So ein wunderbares B&B ist uns auf unseren zahlreichen Reisen noch selten begegnet. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Schon im Vorfeld war der schriftliche Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin sehr angenehm und freundlich. Das setzte sich dann beim Empfang fort. Majken ist sehr bemüht, voll professionell (auf sehr angenehme Art) und schafft es, dass man sich einfach wohl fühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, es ist nicht weit zum Strand, im Garten gibt es ausreichend Sitzplätze und man kann sogar draußen frühstücken. Das Frühstück wird für jedes Zimmer individuell zusammengestellt und ist sehr gut und vielfältig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Over all forventning! Vertinnen, Majken, er en utrolig hyggelig og serviceinnstilt person og gjorde sitt ytterste for at vi skulle føle oss velkomne, både før og under oppholdet. Stedet er vakkert og gjennomført til minste detalj. Vi storkoste oss. Og vil bo hos Majken neste gang vi er på Nordskjælland også.

Bekvämt rum i fin hus med lugnt läge på gångavstånd till den fantastiska sandstranden. Hjälpsam och glad värdinna som gav tips och ordnade god frukost med hembakat bröd. Rekommenderar!

Meget hyggeligt B&B, der var smagfuldt indrettet. Værtinden, Majken, var super sød og medvirkede til en hjemlig stemning, så man følte sig velkommen. Majken har sans for detaljer. Morgenmaden var delikat anrettet med friskbagt brød hver morgen. Værelserne havde en stemning af the Hamptons, og haven var frodig og velholdt.

Although we had our own toilet and shower room, I would have preferred an en-suite.

Fantastic location - central but very quiet. 5 minute walk to the beach. Lovely room. Very comfortable beds. Great garden to sit in and relax with a glass of wine. Breakfast was outstanding.

Our room didn't have an en suite bathroom, although we had a private bathroom nearby. Other, larger rooms did have en suite facilities

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The room was a great size with a large and very comfortable bed. The room also had a comfy sofa and armchairs which was great. The location was central but really quiet with only the sound of the birds singing! The whole place was spotlessly clean and very calm and restful. Majken was charming and I would love to stay there again.

Very warm welcome,very clean room,the bathroom was private,but apart from the room,so I missed a bathrobe. Breakfast was delicious,and Coffee or tea all Day for free.

Excellent location very close to the beach as well as town, lovely host, spacious and clean room with beautiful garden, delicious breakfast, a small kitchen for guests use was an added bonus. Could not have picked a more wonderful stay while in Hornbæk. We will definitely come again.

The B&B is about 10min walk from the station and easy to find. Also easy to get to and from Copenhagen by train. Our room was decorated in a very cozy, pleasant style and generously sized, with view and access to the idyllic back garden, which is shared with the other B&B rooms. King size bed with a medium-soft mattress and pillows. No TV, now that I think about it, but we didn't come to watch TV... WiFi was great though, what more do you need? The breakfast came with homemade buns, jams, and lots of fresh delicacies - what a wonderful start to our days! And thanks to the fridge, leftovers made a nice afternoon snack. Tea and coffee plus dining tables in the shared kitchen. The hosts were lovely, very pleasant to chat with, and happy to give advice for pastimes around the area. We will definitely be back during our next trip to Denmark (in a warmer season though, and for a longer stay).

Should definitely get that door bell fixed :) (a quick phone call got us inside without issues)

Location is exceptional, loved the little morning walk into the village to get (more) good coffee and Danish pastries! The owner is lovely, friendly, welcoming and kind. The room is clean and comfortable and very quiet.

The perfect place to stay. Beautiful surroundings. The rooms was great, spacious and beautifully decorated with comfy bed and lounge seats and table. All rooms have doors leading to the garden where you can enjoy breakfast. The breakfast is amazing with homemade bread and pastries and enough food to make some lunch for later. The kitchen is available to use so you can buy some drinks and food to keep in the fridge which for us was great to make picnics and have a beer or wine in the evening. You can hire bikes a few doors down at a local hotel. The B&B is just a few minutes walk from the beach and a lovely coastal path. Majken is the perfect host and we couldn't have felt more welcome. If travelling by train it is only 10 minutes walk from the station. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay in this charming bed & breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable and the optional breakfast was exceptional. It was lovely to breakfast outside in the garden.

Host (Majken) is delightful and incredibly helpful. We ate at several of her recommended restaurants which were all excellent. We had breakfast for two of the days we were there and it was home baked rolls and home baked strudel with fruit and yoghurt - again excellent. The garden and patio were a bonus - if you are looking for a place to relax then this is perfect. Short walk to the huge white sandy beach which was deserted even through weather still fine (I heard that it get busy in July - but late August very quiet).

It was not a problem at all but just an observation. The shared kitchen was a great social space and for making tea and coffee, but it was not a kitchen that had an oven or hob so only snacks could be prepared. We had not planned to cook so it was no issue. There was a huge fridge freezer for shared use though.

We had a nice room with entrance to the garden, which was nice. We could sit outside our room enjoying eg breakfast. Very nice serviceminded staff. Excellent homemaid breakfast. Walking distance to town, under 300 meters.

This is by far the best B&B we ever stayed in. It's located in a beautiful and laid-back town, just 40 minutes drive north of Copenhagen. We came in the summer and there are many restaurants, shops, food trucks and of course the port with a lovely beach Our host Majken was amazing and super helpful and recommended many activities and restaurants and made us feel at home. The place itself is a big house with private rooms and a common kitchenette where you can eat or meet other guests. There's also a big garden just outside the room. We had a very big and comfortable room. Everything was super clean and fancy, even the toiletries were high quality and it was obvious that the host wanted to create the perfect experience for her guests. The breakfast was rich and tasty

A quiet and peaceful location for a restful stay! The rooms and the shared areas are all very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing...no hot meals, but a nice variety of fruits, cheese, and other options, plus delicious home-made rolls and croissants. Majken was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area, so she has great recommendations on places to visit.
