Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The property is in the centre of town which was very convenient. However parking is an issue and be prepared to pay for expensive private car parking.
The apartment is directly above a very large bar / night club which played loud music and had large crowds partying until after 1:00 AM. The apartment is not soundproofed and consequently it is impossible to sleep until the venue closes. The kitchen also had a very strong smell which could be smelt in the bedroom making the bedroom further uncomfortable.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Super zentrale Lage, perfekt geeignet um Aarhus zu Fuß zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und schön eingerichtet.
Die zentrale Lage hat auch einen kleinen Nachteil: Am Wochenende ist es bis 01-02 Uhr draußen sehr lebendig.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026An extremely spacious & lovely apartment in an excellent location. The mix of classic architecture & modern interiors was truly special. We loved the high ceilings & wall of windows in our bedroom, along with the comfortable mattress & luxurious Danish cotton sheets. The living areas were extremely generous & filled with natural light, to enjoy relaxing on the modern lounges or dining at the table. The kitchen is spacious & invites you to cook at home if you would like to. The location gives you immediate access to all the local sights within minutes.
Although there is a modern shower with optional rain shower or hand held jet, as well as a lovely marble basin, this was the only aspect of the apartment that needs updating further.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026STUNNING apartment! A dream artists loft right in the middle of street where you can walk to anything. Beautifully decorated and easy to find and get into.
I hate to say anything at all because it was so lovely, but the shower is very small and barely drains, but it’s nice that the toilet room is separate. Also being that there is no a/c, sleeping with the windows open is quite noisy.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Everything is amazing here. The neighborhood is the best and the apartment is sooooo beautifully decorated and cared for. We love the bar right under the unit as well. Love love love!
The shower is very beautiful but has some drainage issue but didn’t bother us as we expect any beautifully historic building might experience some of this.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Dejlig stor lejlighed, masser af plads, lækker indretning. Gode senge, sengetøj og håndklæder. Central beliggenhed og i gåafstand til hele det centrale Aarhus.
Med beliggenheden følger lidt støj, specielt i weekenden hvor der festes i de nærliggende cafeer, barer, og gader.

Reviewed Oct 16, 2025Diese wirklich wunderschöne und perfekt gelegene Wohnung ist ideal für alle die direkt „ins Leben“ eintauchen wollen und gleichzeitig einen geräumigen Rückzugsort suchen. Sehr liebevoll sanierter Altbau, mit viel Liebe für‘s Detail. Viel Design, vorrangig von lokalen Künstlern und Designern. Großartiges Gesamtkonzept. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Es fehlt eine Spülmaschine, die das Leben mit mehreren Personen und entsprechendem Geschirraufkommen angenehmer gestalten würde.

The host was very friendly and accommodating (we even had the opportunity to use the SJ Hotel in Ebeltoft for a day trip – it was wonderful). The location is set in one of the most beautiful and popular neighborhoods of Aarhus, yet the nights were calm and relaxing. Truly a hidden gem in Aarhus.
